And another....

As you can tell I am still busy making these corner bookmarks for the Christmas Fayre, and this is another using a cute Saturated Canary Digi image called Sleeping Beauty, A Princess which I have coloured with Copics. The papers are all Lily Bee Designs "Head Over Heels" and I have used some random cardstock from my stash for the base. I have then added some spotted ribbon, a couple of pins and a sentiment stamped using the Tim Holtz Odds & Edds stamp set.

Today we are getting the christmas lights out of the garage to put up at the top of the house ready to turn on from Dec 1st. It is always a fun time, and for Georgia signals the start of the countdown (and build up of the excitement) to Christmas Day.

I also have a little crafty news to share with you all....but I think it will wait till tomorrow....

More Corner Bookmarks...

I am still busy making things to sell at the Christmas Fayre, I really need to get myself sorted and get this all finished off over the weekend...

So here are a couple more of the corner bookmarks I have made featuring more cute Saturated Canary Digi images.
This girl is called Windy Day and I have coloured her with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Eyes - B21/B23
Hair - R37/R39
Clothing & Kite - Y21/Y26/G12/W3/W5
The papers are all Lily Bee Designs "This & That" and the base of the card is made with Bazzill cardstock in both Kraft & Raven. I finished off with a little Bazzill Tulle and a couple of heart pins. The sentiment is by Tim Holtz called Odds & Ends.

She is called Crushing on the Quarterback and I have coloured her with Copics using the following colours...

The papers are all My Minds Eye "Away We Go" the base is Bazzill Kraft cardstock and I have added some AC satin ribbon and a couple of heart pins. Again the sentiment is a Tim Holtz Odds & Ends.

Cute Card Thursday - Sketch Time!

This week over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog it's Sketch Time again. For my card I have used a digi image from Some Odd Girl, she is called Roller Mae and I have coloured her with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E11/E13/E25/R32
Hair - E47/E49
Clothing - B93/B95/B97/R24/R27/R29/YG11/Y21/Y26
The papers are all My Minds Eye Lost & Found Two Rosy which I have layered with some Craftwork Cards Stardust cardstock in Calcutta. I have added just some ribbon, a couple of heart pins, a Craftwork Cards sentiment, and used a Whimsy sentiment stamp
  which I cut up to show just the "and Fabulous" part...with the 30 being AC Foam Thickers.

Lili of the Valley Challenge - Anything Goes!

This week over on the Lili of the Valley Challenge Blog our theme is Anything Goes....you can do whatever/make whatever you like using a Lili of the Valley stamp/diecut.

For my card I have used one of the Jenny the Bear stamps, this one is called  Gifts Galore which I have coloured with Copics using the following colour...

The papers are some scraps of Dream Street Wonderland papers from 2008 that I had laying around. I have kept this one pretty simple by just using an EK Success border punch and the snowflakes that came out I have added to the card. I have embellished with some AC satin ribbon, a couple of Making Memories pins and a Craftwork Cards sentiment.

Christmas Fayre Makes....

Well I am in full production mode to get stuff ready for the Christmas Fayre at Georgia's school on the 2nd...I am way behind and really need to focus. The last couple of days I have been making Corner Bookmarks. So here are a couple of the ones I have made so far...

The first is a Me To You Bear from the DoCrafts Digital Designer Especially for You CD. I have used some random cardstock and Me To You papers, plus a scrap of ribbon and a heart pin.

The next is using a Saturated Canary digi image called Copica, coloured with Copics and made from Bazzill Kraft cardstock and Lily Bee Head Over Heels papers, a scrap of ribbon, a couple of heart pins and a Tim Holtz sentiment stamped onto another scrap of the paper.
I have made almost a dozen of these....going to make about 20 in total, so can almost scratch them off my "To Do" list.

Some Odd Girl - 2 Patterns and a Colour Base!

This week over on the Some Odd Girl Blog our challenge is to use 2 patterned papers and a coloured card base (not white or kraft). For my card I have used Deer Mae which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...

This week over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog our theme is a colour combo....Green & Grey. For my card I have used a Sugar Nellie stamp called Pippi Longsocks which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...

Now I better get back to the pile of Corner Bookmarks that I need to make for the Christmas Fayre.....times a runnin' out...LOL

Having a lovely quiet day here, catching up on chores around the house and tidying my craft room a little....it is a right old mess at the moment. I just don't have the time to completely tidy it as I know it will mean no more crafting this side of Xmas (I reckon that is how long it would take me to sort it all out...LOL. I also have lots of items to get ready for my Craft Stall at Georgia's Christmas Fayre next month....arrrgghhh where did all the time go.

Papertake Weekly - First Christmas!

Here is a card I made for this week challenge over on Papertake Weekly....First Christmas.For my card I have used a Saturated Canary image called Spritz, a Baby Christmas Elf which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...

Hair - E23
Clothing - R37/R39/E40/E41/E42
Candy Cane - R37/R39
I  have also added Stickles in Platinum to the bell on the hat, and Stickles in Diamond to the wings (I used a paint brush to add just a little to the wings) and Glossy Accents to the eyes.
The papers are all by Magnolia and I have added a couple of heart pins, some ribbon that was salvaged from some packaging and Making Memories tiny alphas for the sentiment.

Cute Card Thursday - Reds for Rememberance!

This week over on the Cute Card Thursday our challenge theme is Reds for Rememberance...in honour of all those who have died for their Country. For my card I have used a Saturated Canary image called Christmas Angel, a Ragamuffin which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...

Hair - E51/E53
Clothing - R37/R39/YG03/E50/E51
The papers are all Making Memories Mistletoe and I have used some red shimmer cardstock to layer the main image. I have added some Poinsetta flowers, Holly leaves and berries and some red organza ribbon, and finished off with a Craftwork Cards sentiment.

On a personal note I have been feeling under the weather all week. You know when you don't feel yourself but cannot pin point the thing that is making you feel all yuk! Even a parcel containing stacks of Me to You goodies that I won on the DoCrafts September draw didn't make me feel much better...hope this yuk feeling goes away soon....Hey Ho at least it's Friday...

Lili of the Valley Challenge - Creature Comforts!

This week on the Lili of the Valley Challenge Blog our theme is Creature Comforts...Your card should include a LOTV stamp with an animal on.

For my card I have used one of the new stamps being release today...HERE, this one is called The Potting Shed. I have coloured the image with Copics using the following colours...

The papers are all Do Crafts Tulip and I have layered them with some Bazzill Kraft cardstock. I have added some AC satin ribbon, a few pins (the purple one was white and I coloured it with Sharpies). The sentiment is a fab freebie from Create with TLC and I have added some flowers and bling.

Fizzy Moon Christmas...

Here is a Christmas Card I made this week...just for fun, no DT committment, no Challenge....nothing but a card for me to send at Christmas.

I have used one of the Fizzy Moon Christmas stamps that I got HERE, which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Bear - E30/E31/E33/E27
Hat - R27/R29
Gifts - B39/R27/R29/B000/B00
The papers are all from the Fizzy Moon Christmas 6x6 pad and have been layered with some red shimmery cardstock from Craftwork Cards. I have added some AC satin ribbon, a couple of red heart pins and a Craftwork Cards Christmas sentiment. I have added some puffy paint and Glamour Dust to the hat and then heated with a heatgun to make in shimmery and puffy.

Have had a lovely weekend filled with friends, fireworks, food and on Sunday even peace and quiet. Yesterday I had the craving for Cream of Cauliflower soup. I had it many years ago in a restaurant called Metros in Milton Keynes (think it is closed now), and at the weekend I found a recipe, so tonight I made it.....and it is totally delicious.....I know what I am having for my lunch tomorrow!!!

Cute Card Thursday - Baby You're a Firework!

This week over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog our theme is Baby You're a Firework! We want to see your cards/creations that feature fireworks, or the sparkle or the bright lights of fireworks.

For my card I have used a Me to You image that is on the Do Crafts Me to You Digital Designer. On this CD you get pre-coloured and un-coloured images. I chose the later and used my Copics to colour him using the following colours...C0/C1/C2/C3/C5/BG10/BG11. The papers are all from the Do Crafts Me To You Winter Wonderland paper pack and all have a little glitter on them, which I backed with some Craftwork Cards shimmer cardstock. I also added some puff paint and Stickles to the main image. I have embellished with some sparkly ribbon salvage from a gift from the Lush store, a few pins and a Craftwork Cards Xmas sentiment.

Lili of the Valley Sneak Peek - Little Cutie!

So here is a sneak peek of one of the new images being released at the NEC this weekend, and if you cannot get to the NEC, they will be available online from 10th November.

The sentiment has been created with a Melissa Frances rub-on, a American Crafts Thickers number "1", Making Memories mini alphas and a Craftwork Cards sentiment.
