This week over on the Crafty Angels Weekly Challenge Blog our theme has been chosen by Kate. Kate wanted us to make a card giving thanks (well it has just been Thanksgiving in the USA). For my card I have used one of the Xmas Magnolia stamps (not that you can tell). I have coloured her with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E43/E47/E49
Clothes - R22/B00/B05
Wings - R20/R21
I have used Cordinations cardstock and papers by American Crafts...both available from Crafty Angels store. I also used my Nestabilities label one die and my Stampin' Up Notepad punch. The little butterflies are the bits that are punched out with my new Martha Stewart butterfly border punch. Finally I finished off with some bling and lace from my stash and a sentiment by Craftwork Cards (I love them...can you tell!).
For the card I also used the fab sketch over on Friday Sketchers, and I pleased with the results...it was so nice to make a card that wasn't a christmas card...LOL.

High Hopes Challenge 54- Santa!
This week over on the High Hopes Blog the theme is Santa. So for my card I have used my cute HH Santa head stamp coloured with Copics and added Flower Soft in Polar White for the fur. The papers are October Afternoon "Good Cheer" which I have layered with Bazzill cardstock. I have also used a piece of DCWV cardstock that I put through my Big Shot with a Cuttlebug 5x7 embossing folder called "Christmas Countdown", which I have then sanded and then highlighted the "25" by adding Doodlebug sugar coated glitter. To finish off I have added a poinsetta that I got from Bee Crafty at the NEC earlier this month, a star pin by Making Memories, ribbon by KI Memories and a sentiment by Craftwork Cards.
I woke up this morning feeling yuk with a horrid sore throat, so fingers crossed a quiet day at home/in my craft room will make me feel better.

Well here it is.....My First DT Card with Lili of the Valley. I used one of the super cute Christmas Bears....I can't tell you how much I love this bear...I own all 4 designs and when I was at the NEC I begged for more designs with him. Anyway, back to the challenge and my card.
The challenge is a gorgeous Sketch provided by Jacqui. I had these gorgeous Bo Bunny papers just sat on my desk from a previous card and thought they would be perfect. The image has been coloured with Copics using E31/E33/E35/R37/Y38. I also added DecoArt "Glamour Dust" to the hat and snowflakes and Flowersoft in "Polar White" for the snow. A Just Because Card...
I got this cutie stamp by The Greetings Farm at the beginning of the month, and finally I had a chance to ink her up and use her last night. It was such a lovely change to just make a card and not do it for a DT, challenge...but just for me because I wanted to do it...my way.
Along with "Princess Ava" by The Greeting Farm I used DCWV "Be Mine" stack layered with some Bazzill cardstock...which I distressed. Added some lace, flowers by Tabby Crafts & Wild Orchid Crafts to which I added some DecoArt "Glamour Dust", plus some pins which are by Fancy Pants and Heidi Grace, and then finally added some pearl bling.....I think this is a "congratulations you kissed enough frogs and found your prince" card....LOL.
So tomorrow is my first card on the Lili of the Valley Challenge DT.....and of course me Cute Card Thursday card...so please come back and check them both out.

Papertake Weekly - DawnyP's Sketch #28
Here is a card I made last night using DawnyP's sketch over on Papertake Weekly. I have used a couple of my cute Squiggle Stamps, you can get it HERE and HERE. The papers are Sassafras Lass "Monstrosity" and I have layered them with Bazzill cardstock. I have kept the card pretty simple as it is a boys card, adding just some Ikea string and a Craftwork Cards sentiment.
Be sure to pop over and take a look at DawnyP's sketch and the DT card....just yummy!

Crafty Angels Weekly Challenge - Week 10 "Anything But a Card!"
This week over on the Crafty Angels Weekly Challenge Blog the theme has been set by Sandie and she wanted us to make...."Anything but a card". Having already made boxes etc I decided to tackle the mammouth task of making an Advent Calendar. Armed with Camilla's instruction in the Magnolia Ink magazine I set to work, cutting and scoring all the 24 boxes (you can cheat and make one with match boxes...) and then of course there is all the construction and decoration....anyway here it is...
The Top
The papers I used on the whole project were by Making Memories they were in a pad designed to be used with The Slice. I inked them with Vintage Photo distress inks added some paper roses by Wild Orchid Crafts with foilage using my Martha Stewart "Branch" punch, one of the Xmas Magnolia's and a sentiment by Teresa Collins.Side View One
More of the same papers plus a couple more of the new Xmas Magnolia stamps the little "Dec 25" stamp is by Studio G. To create the drawer handles I used my Cropadile to punch two holes in each drawer and added a couple of eyelets and then used some string to create the pull.
Side View Two
Again more Xmas Magnolia's, I have added Flowersoft in Christmas Green & Shamrock Green (mixed together) to the wreath, and the sentiment is by Catslife Press, with more paper roses.Side View Three
I used another Tilda from the Xmas collection and also the "DO NOT OPEN" is by Catslife Press, and the "Gifts Checklist" is by Teresa Collins.
I am so pleased that I made this, and it is being kept for ME....I just cannot bear to part with it...so Georgia & David are going to fill it for me...yay
Be sure to pop on over to the Crafty Angels Blog to see what the other DT members came up with. Many of the Xmas Magnolia collection can be found in the store HERE.

Finally the sentiment was from a set of Studio G stamps from the US. I used my Rectangle Nestbilities to cut out the main image and also added Flowersoft in "Shamrock Green" and "Christmas Green" to the wreath...plus a little DecoArt Glamour Dust, which has also been added to Tilda's wings.
Just Georgia and I at home this weekend, so we have enjoyed the day staying inside in the warm out of the filthy weather...and have pretty much the same planned for tomorrow.

Daring Cardmakers "Scraplings"
This week over on Daring Cardmakers the theme is "Scraplings"....the cards you make with left over cardstock. These cards are 2.5 x 5.5 inches...the leftover bit from my A4 cardstock when I make a 5.75 x 5.75 inch card. I have also used scraps from one of my DT kits from Crafty Angels.
I kept the Thank You cards pretty simple just cardstock, papers. ribbon and bling. The stamp and punch are by Stampin' Up (US set) and the butterfly was cut with my Papermania Dimensional Butterfly punch.
With Christmas fast appoaching it is nice to send Thank You cards after, particularly when the kids write them themselves.

This week over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog our theme is "Glitter Me Silly"....we want to see your creations with loads of sparkle... Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp and we are also joined again by Jenn, our Guest DT.
For my card I have used a couple of stamps by CC Designs coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E50/E51/E53
Boots - BG18
Clothes -R59/R85
Tree - YG95/E57
The papers are all My Minds Eye "Winter Wonderland" and I have layered them with some Bazzil & Bazzill Bling cardstock. I have used my Nesties to create a background for my image to sit on, and it has been embossed with my new Cuttlebug Kars Snow Embossing Folder. I have also used a couple of Martha Stewart punches, one for the snowflake and one to create the double scallop. Finally I have added some bling and ribbon from my stash and a sentiment by Craftwork Cards. Also as you can see from the side shot below the papers are all glittered and I have added glitter to the Flowersoft I used on the image, some Doodlebug glitter on the bauble, DecoArt Glamour Dust to the snowflakes and some Sakura clear glitter gel pen to the wings on the main image...so it really dones sparkle.
I have also used the sketch over on Sketch Saturday, which I have rotated through 90 degrees.
On a happy note today, I won last weeks challenge over on the All That Scraps Challenge Blog....so I got to choose FOUR CC Designs stamps, so I chose the new Sweet November stamps.

Here is a card I made using the sketch over on Friday Sketchers. I have used one of my Squiggle Stamps called "Snow Pals" you can find it HERE. The image has been coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E47
Hat - R46
Scarf & Gloves - B93/B95/B97
Jeans - B93/B95/B97
Jumper - R46
Wellies - YG03/G28
The paper is My Minds Eye "Winter Wonderland", I have punched some snowflakes out of the paper with my Martha Stewart punch, added some ribbon, pearl bling and a charm from my stash. To finish I added a sentiment by Craftwork Cards layered up with my Stampin' Up circle and scalloped circle punches, which are raised on 3D foam.
