Hair - E47/E49
Clothing - B93/B95/B97/YG11/YG13/BG18

Something a little different...

Here is a card I made quickly last night. I was playing with some seam binding available HERE and HERE from Creative Treasures and decided to make some flowers with it. This card is different for me as although I stamped the sentiment....that was all the stamping I did. The birdcage is a Tim Holtz Alterations die and I have added some more seam binding to tie a bow, some Prima Raja Centres available HERE. I also added some pearl bling and the sentiment is by My Favorite Things Die-namics stamp & die set available HERE from Dies to Die For (if they are out of stock just email Tracy and she will add them to her next order)....oooh and the backing paper is Bo Bunny "Crush".

Thanks for looking at something a little different...

This week over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog our theme is "What's Buggin' You!", we want to see your cards/creations that feature bugs, butterflies, bees....it can be the image or the paper, or even the embellishments, the choice is yours.

For my card I have used Anya from The Greeting Farm Sunshine Kit available on special offer HERE at Dies to Die For. I have coloured her with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E47/E49/E44/YG13

I have embellished with some ribbon, cherry blossoms, roses, heart pin and leaf pin all from Creative Treasures. I have also added Stickles in stardust to the dragonfly. I also added a sentiment from the TGF Sunshin Kit and some Melissa Frances rub-ons. I tried to make the image look like it was a polaroid picture by cutting the image in a square and adding it to a larger piece of white cardstock.

Be sure to check out the rest of the DT's creations over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog.

I am also entering this card into the challenge on Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge where they want to see your cards that feature distressing. Cute Card Thursday - A Tweet and a Flutter!

This week over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog our theme is "A Tweet and a Flutter". We want to see your cards that feature either a bird or a butterfly, they can either be the main focus of your card, or be just part of the main image...or even an embellishment or the background papers...the choice is yours.

I made a card using the Tim Holtz Alterables birdcage die on my card, together with some of the gorgeous My Minds Eye Union Square papers available HERE from Dies to Die For. The birdcage was cut from the chipboard at the back of a 6x6 paper pad and has been inked with a Versa Color Platinum inkpad with clear embossing power over. I did this a few time to make the cage shiny. I also added some jewel drops that I got HERE and a couple of Tim Holtz Adage Tickets.

When Georgia was the card, she fell in love with the birdcage, so I made her this tag to add to her school book bag. I used all the same techniques but used black ink and black embossing powders. The background is created using a Tim Holtz Textures folder with Vintage Photo Distress Ink rubbed over it. I also added a few Prima roses and this time added purple heart gems to the birdcage...available HERE.

The card and tag are not my usual style, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself while making them.
