I am glad to be back in the land of the living this evening after suffering a very nasty migraine which started on Thursday morning and had me in bed sleeping until this morning...so after about 24 hours sleep I am feeling groggy but ok. Doesn't help that the sore throat and cought that started just before the migraine are now back with a vengance and I am loosing my voice...LOL (well almost out loud)

Baby Boy...

Just a quick post from me today as I am having a little tidy (and I mean little...don't have time to do more) of my Craft Room as it is just stuffed full of stuff that I should get rid of but as a bit of a hoarder I find it hard....

Anyway here is a quick Baby Boy card I made using one of The Greeting Farm clear stamps from the Build a Onesie Boy clear stamp set (I used the stars and the little sentiment on the tag too) which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours B00/B01/B02/C1/C2. The paper in the background is a lined one....just cannot remember what paper pad it came from. The "Babies are a gift from God" is by MelonHeadz and I added some colour with Copics (B01/B02/R37), finished off with a little pearl bling, a couple of heart pins and some AC satin ribbon.

Come back tomorrow as I have more to show you....

Lily the Pink....

Ok, so if you are from the UK and in your 40's you may have the following words rolling around your brain right now...maybe it's just me!

We'll drink a drink a drink,
To Lily the pink the pink the pink,
The saviour of our human race,
For she invented, medicinal compound,
Most efficacious in every case.

Ok, so I know the tune and some of the words....just don't ask me to tell you what it means...Google it..."Lily the Pink" by Scaffold.

So I have digressed a little....well maybe a lot. Here is a card I was requested to make very on Wednesday night. It needed to be pink, pretty and have the name Lily on it. So I have used a cute Saturated Canary image called Party Hardy which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...

A Quick Male Card...

I needed to rustle up a card quickly this morning after managing to spill coffee over the card I made last night. So I have used a stamp by The Greeting Farm called Creeper Crew Sunday. Stamped onto Craftwork Cards Digital Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I have then coloured the image with Copics using the following colours...

I kept the embellishments to a minimum...just adding some random buttons from my stash, one of my ticket sentiment, and also the "100% Boy" is by BrossArtful Designs

Another Banner/Bunting...

Here is another, this one is for Georgia's bedroom. She saw the Valentine's one and wanted one for herself...now she says I need to make some for hew friends....and cousin Hannah. Don't you think it's funny that as soon as girls reach a certain age...Pink is no longer their favourite colour. So far I have asked Georgia, one of her friends and her cousin Hannah....and they ALL told me that blue was their new favourite colour....

Anyway I have used the same Katie Pertiet digi brush to create the background for these. Then added some Doodlebug glitter letters from about 2007ish, glitter cardstock cut with my Nesties, lace and Saturated Canary Digi images coloured with Copics...

I have been enjoying a lovely relaxed day at home, pottering about, scanning photos, shredding old paperwork and nagging Georgia to put her clean ironed clothes away...and she continues to slack off on her bed...reminds me of someone.........but who!

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend, and start to the half term week.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge - Pink Valentine!

It's Thursday again, and that can mean just one thing.....it's time for a new challenge over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog and this week our theme is Pink Valentine. I decided to have a go at making some Valentine's Bunting. I wanted to use a text background but didn't have enough pre-printed papers, so instead I used a digital brush by Katie Pertiet...HERE. I added some large chipboard alpha's from my stash (the pink is by Doodlebug and the white by Making Memories), they have been in their a long time.....even the self adhesive backs were no good....I am such a stash hoarder. I added some lips stamped with a stamp from Sir Stampalot. I also used a couple of Saturated Canary images. The one of the first bunting is called So Sorry and the one on the last one is Queen of Hearts. Both images are coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Eyes - B21/B23/B66/B79
Hair - E23/E25/E27
Clothing - RV11/RV13/E50/E51/R37
To finish off I added the bunting pieces to string with a stapler and put a little pink bling on each one. Georgia fell in love so now she has asked me to make one of her name to add in her bedroom.

So we are forecast for a little more snow here in the UK....Georgia is excited at the thought of it, and I just wish it would warm up...roll on Spring!

Snow Fun Sunday

So no crafty project for me today as I have been having to get up early all this week and have been going to bed when I normally have time to craft...LOL

I just wanted to share a little montage of pics I took in the snow on Sunday.....and yes I am actually in TWO of the pics (but I kept them small...LOL).

What the montage doesn't show is David going into a tree...TWICE and also getting hit in the leg by a wooden sledge, and me getting knocked onto my butt by two small girls on a sledge.....both David and I are sporting some nice bruises...his worse than mine.

Will be back tomorrow with something crafty!!!!
