Today Georgia and I have been crafting. With only a couple of days of holidays left (well actually Teacher Training Days) we are making the most of it. We made a clock out of an old pizza box and she has been practising telling the time. We has mastered the hours and half hours and today we are moving onto quarter past and quarter to....will show pics of her clock later (she made it herself. She is also decorating Funky Foam butterflies that I got yesterday from HobbyCraft (£1.99 for 30...they should have been £3.99) she is going to hang them from the ceiling of her bedroom...pretty much what we did with the snowflakes in the lounge for Christmas. I also got another 5 packs for the school as we are going to decorate them at the school Summer BBQ. I also got some Easter Egg ones and wil deocorate them with the kids in March.
I have also been busy making a couple of bits. I got a few CI Bare Elements Gift Card Holders for 99p each at HobbyCraft yesterday and last night decorated one with CI Narratives papers. It was going to be a gift for one of my Clients (I said I was going to make her something) the only trouble was I loved it too much...so made myself one almost identical. Will take pics after lunch and post this evening. I also spent the last 30 minutes taking lots of pics of Georgia in her PJ's laying on the floor...she even posed a bit...but I love the effect of the wooden floor she was laying on. Will post pics later once I have been through them all.
Has anyone been watching the photography show on Channel Four? I realy enjoyed it, and was pleased to see that 5 of the 6 finalists were Nikon users. I spotted a couple of D80's and D200's (I think). The show is strictly for amateurs....but they have great talent. It was also fab to see that at least a couple of them were using regular kit lenses...meaning that anyone can take the types of shot they were doing, it just takes practice, imaginations and patience.
Anyway, Georgia claims to be starving, but I seriously doubt it after the amount of food she ate yesterday....makes you wonder how she stays as thin as a rake.....although it reminds me so much of my little sister as a child. She wouldn't eat much for a couple of days, and would eat just about anything that wasn't nailed down....she was affectionately called the "Human Dustbin".

Nice take on the prompt.
Have a fun crafty day.
Wish I'd seen that photography programme. It sounds interesting.
Love your pile of ironed clothes. Even better that you didn't have to do them yourself!
Great pic - wish I had someone to do my ironing for me!
that pic makes me want to have a looksy at all your pretty nicely folded tops.x
Completely missed the C4 programme..damn! Nice folds, I vaguely remember what ironed clothes look like!
ick ironing ! I am allergic LOL
My mother had an ironing lady--boy, would I love one of those. Anything that gets ironed here is ironed by the owner of the garment! Great idea.
great photo!
haven't heard of the c4 show, sounds like it was a good one!
Great shot!
