Flutter Heart...
As it was my 23rd Wedding Anniversary this weekend just gone, I made a card for my lovely Hubby. I decided that I would do something a little different and use a stamp that didn't require me to colour (although I added a touch of red).
The stamps I used were The Greeting Farm Flutter Heart clear set which I stamped onto Bazzill Kraft cardstock using a black Versafine inkpad. The papers are all My Minds Eye Paris & Co and I have layered them with some Bazzill Kraft cardstock. To cut the postage stamp layer under the main image I have used a Nestabilities Postage Label die, currently out of stock. I have embellished with some pearl bling and tulle to finish off my card.
Be sure to pop on over to the Die-ing for a Challenge blog to check out this months challenge.

More Smash*ing...
Ok, so on Friday night I decided it was time to decorate the cover of my mini SMASH* book...and here are the results...
I added a little Washi tape, some MAMBI bling, and a few other bits and pieces, and of course it wouldn't be complete without the Saturated Canary digi called Smashy Curls that Krista made for the recent SMASH*aholics Blog Hop...
Then as I was having such fun, I decided to do another double page...this one was about how I love SMASH* products....I have just received a delivery that included a Red & Orange Smash* book....and also another parcel containing a eBay bargain....a second hand Fuji Instax 100 wide format camera....cost me less than £18 ($25) inc postage...and it worked perfectly and was in as new condition...
As you can see I have added some Washi tape, journal spots, a Making Memories ticket, a SMASH* paperclip, butterfly and all the other bits are part of the packaging from some of my new SMASH* stash...and of course an instant photo of the new stash using my new wide format camera....
If you haven't SMASH*ed before, you really should try it. I haven't done much scrapbooking for the last 18 months, and these books have really inspired me to get back to it.....I even plan on doing Project Life in 2013.

Banner for Niamh...
Have made so many of these this year, and decided to make one for Krista's daughter Niamh. I found out Niamh's bedroom is decorated in pink and lilac with a hint of green....so this is what I made.
Obviously I just had to use Krista's girls to decorate the banner....it was just too hard to resist, I coloured the images with my Copics and added them to the banner. I decorated each one with Bo Bunny Smoochable papers, lace, butterflies and bling....and of course the letters. I cannot remember for the life of me who made the letters, but I remember being crazy for them a few years ago...and then not using them....they were too nice to use. Now I just look at them sat there and think they need using whenever possible...LOL...gotta make room for new stuff!
So here are a couple of close ups...
I am glad to say that Young Niamh received it safely this week....and I am told she loved it!
Today we are down in West Sussex attending a Surprise 90th Birthday Party for David's Uncle. This means an early start as we have to be there for midday and need to go and get David's Mum too....should be fun!

Cute Card Thursday Challenge v Saturated Canary Challenge...
This week has been full of activity leaving me short on crafting time...so a bit of combining had to happen. So today I have combined the Cute Card Thursday 4th Birthday Challenge (make a birthday card/project) and the Saturated Canary Challenge to use twine.
So I have used the Saturated Canary Party Hardy image which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E23/E25/E27
Clothing - R27/R29/BG70/BG72/BG75/BG78/W0/W2/W9
The papers are all Authentic Celebrate which have been layered with some Bazzill Cardstock in Raven. I have added some lush velvet ribbon, an Anita's butterly, a Creative Expression zipper rose, a Craftwork Cards sentiment and some twine. I have added the "10" using some AC foam Thickers.
Be sure to check out the DT cards from CCT & SC Challenges...they are always stunning and packed with inspiration.

Sitting Casual....
After years of office working and clothing restrictions, I am now all about casual...well most of the time anyway. I thought I would show you a card with another of the new releases in March from The Greeting Farm. This stamp set is called Sitting Casual and I have stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto Craftwork Cards Digital Cardstock and coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E23/E25/E27
Clothing - B91/B93/B95/YG91/YG95
Couch - E41/E42/E43/E44
The papers are all Echo Park This & That Charming 6x6 pad and I have layered them with Bazzill Kraft cardstock. I have used sentiments from the same stamp set and also an additional circle sentiment by Craftwork Cards.
Have had a hectic week, and this morning I was at the Milton Keynes Woodwind Music Festival at The Church of Christ the Cornerstone. This event is for Primary School children learning a woodwind instrument with Milton Keynes Music Service. So Georgia's school entered an Ensemble of Flutists and they played beautifully and I am so proud to say that they won the gold award, and have been invited with the other winners to take part in the Concert this evening...needless to say we cancelled all our plans for this afternoon/evening so that she can take part...

Smash*ing with Saturated Canary...
So as promised here is another double page spread from my Mini Smash* Book. This one is all about my love of Saturated Canary and being on their DT. I think Military Girl is my current favourite image....but know knows...Krista does draw some wonderful characters.
So the pages are pretty simple, apart from the image which is coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - R35/R37/R39
Eyes - B21/B66
Clothing - W0/W2/W3/W5/Y28
All I have added to the page is some washi tape, a die-cut dog Tag, a Making Memories "Love" ticket, some journalling about being on the SC DT and a sparkly "S" & "C" for Saturated Canary.
I am so enjoying these Smash* Books, it really has got me back into scrapping. I think I became intimidated with the amount everyone around me was producing...and I just could find my groove....my creativity has really been ignited with theses books....I think I am just a card making, mini book loving, Smash* fan...LOL
Ok, so today Georgia is in a Gymnastics competition, so we will be out all day...cannot believe I don't even get a little lie-in on a Sunday morning....oh well next week is Mothers Day & my Wedding Anniversary, so no doubt I will deserve a lie-in then.

More from my Mini Smash* Book...
Here is a double page spread that I did showing my excitement about receiving my Fuji Instax Mini 7S. You have never seen anyone rip off packaging so quick....I didn't even wait for the Postman to leave...LOL
I have used one of the pics from the new camera that I was opening the box of, a couple journal cards by Becky Higgins from one of the Project Life Digi Kits @ Jessica Sprague...it was either the clementine or turquoise kit, and arrow that I got about 3 years ago from an Etsy shop, Washi Tape, Dymo sentiments, Scenic Route chipboard, a KI Memories Love Elsie sticker, a calender tab and a few other random bits.
Today I have been busy printing pictures from my phone etc...I have been using PSE to make them look like Polaroid Pics, so that I can use them in my next Smash* Book....a full size Black one...all about my family, home & life...basically the people I love.
Come back tomorrow and I will have another double page spread to show and this one also features one of my all time favourite digi images to colour...

Cute Card Thursday - Sketch Time!
This week over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog we have a sketch for you to follow...
And here is my card using the sketch...
The papers are My Minds Eye Lush Orange Damask (flocked), Memory Box Distressed Dots Liquorice, Memory Box Gingham Liquorice, Memory Box Gingham Mango. I have layered them all with Bazzill cardstock in Raven. I have added some black spotted ribbon a Craftwork Cards sentiment, a PaperMania butterfly, and a looped bloom that I created using the Die-namics Loopy Bloom die and some random fabric that I believe was a cushion cover from Ikea that I got in the bargain basement section to which I have added a little string tied in bows.
I know it is a little different from me....no Copics or image....I just fancied trying something different. So be sure to pop on over to the Cute Card Thursday blog and join in the fun.

Banner Mania!
I had another request from one of Georgia's Best Friends for a banner...Emi loves all things black and purple with skulls etc. The images are Simply Betty Stamps and are her favourites as they all feature skulls....aged 9 and pink and pretty is already out the window....
A quick run down of products used in addition to the images...
Printed Background - A Katie Pertiet Digital Brush
Check Paper - Magnolia Halloween Papers from a couple of years ago
Skull Doilies - purchased from dotcomgiftshop.com
All the images were coloured with Copics.
As it's my birthday in a couple of weeks, I have been lucky enough to order myself a Fuji Instax Mini Camera....I cannot wait to be able to take/print old fashion Polaroid style pics.....they will be great for my mini books and Smash* Books. I got a good deal on Amazon for the camera plus 70 prints, which I think should keep me going for a little while.

Another Smash* Book Page...
Ok, so this Smash* Book stuff can be a little addictive...have done this and my previous page all in a couple of days...and it didn't take me hours of procrastinating. Having bought my first Washi Tape from The Greeting Farm early in 2011...my collection has expanded a little (and I have 4 more reels on the way!) and as I have dedicated this mini Smash* Book to all my craft loves past and present I did a little page to record them. So apart from the Washi Tape I have used some American Craft glitter Thickers a Making Memories ticket and also a lips stamp from Sir Stampalot....which I also Love!
Will be back again tomorrow with another card....off to bed soon as I am for some unknown reason knackered!

Cool Britannia!
Well you have probably realised that I love Saturated Canary digi stamps...yes I really do. Well Military Girl has one of my favourite hairstyles of Krista's images.....because it is similar to my own! So I just couldn't resist cropping her and then printing her out pretty big, giving her a less military feel and more of a cool chic look. As always I have coloured her with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - R35/R37/R39
Clothing - B91/B93/B95/Y28
The papers are another of my current favourites....PaperMania Portabello Road....I just love this Union Jack inspired collection....and with the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics in London this year....it just seems fitting. I have added very few embellies, just some AC grosgrain ribbon a couple of heart pins, red bling and the rest are stickers from the same range as the papers. People have emailed me about how I "do" the eyes and as I always I have added some Glossy Accents to them to make then shine like real eyes do. I personally think it brings them to life for me.
As these papers are a current favourite of mine I decided to also do a Smash* Book page about them...
I have this feeling, like Pringles....once you Smash* you just can't stop....as this is already the second set of pages I have done this week...will show you the other one tomorrow....about my Washi Love!

Cute Card Thursday - Signs of Spring!
This week over on the Cute Card Thursday challenge blog our theme is "Signs of Spring"...in keeping with the season upon us, we want to see your Spring inspired cards. Spring really is my favourite time of year...you will always find either tulips or daffodils in my house when they are in bloom...I currently have a vase of red tulips...
For my card I have used a Saturated Canary digi image called Let it Rain which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E15/E17/E18
Clothing - BG10/BG11/BG13/R37/R39/YR23/YR24
The papers are all My Minds Eye Lost & Found 2 Sunshine which I have layered with some Bazzill Kraft cardstock. I have also used my Nestabilities Labels ? die, a Die-namics cloud trio die, some pearl bling and some Wild Orchid Crafts daffodils to finish it off. The sentiment is a digi one by Create with TLC which I have had to add some black pen to as my printer cartridge is almost run out and printed more blue than black...LOL, so a little black pen and we are good to go....and of course a little Sakura clear glitter gel pen for a little sparkle.
Be sure to check out our challenge...and join in the fun!
