Club Anya & Friends - Day Three of Previews...
Today is the day of Stamping Anya...and I though she would look perfect on a sign for my Craft Room...I would say door, but I removed it to make more space, so not it hangs above the door frame.
I have coloured Stamping Anya with Copics using the following colours....
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E44/E47/E49
Clothing - R01/R02/G12/R27
The papers are all Cosmo Cricket "Earth Love" and DCWV cardstock that I have punched into little 2.5 inch squares and stuck randomly to the door hanging. I have added some lemon lace across the middle and in one corner I have added a calico flower that I made with SJ's tutorial and under it there is a small piece of peach lace that I tied into a knotted bow. Finally I have added "My Creative Heaven" using American Craft puffy Thickers.
So now Anya is proudly guarding the entrance to my room...enter all who dare!!!

Club Anya & Friends Announcement and First Day of Previews...
If you have come here via the Club Anya & Friends Blog you will know that I have just been announced as the April Guest Designer...boy has it been hard keeping that under my hat.
Today is the first of the April release previews....Eric is one of the Wild Sprout line....he is so cute, and I adored colouring his hair. It is also Saturday...so Sketchy Saturday, and I have used the sketch on this card...
For my card I have coloured Eric using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E44/E47/E49
Clothing - W3/W5/W7/E37
Shoes - W7/W9
The papers are DCWV "Rockstar" and I have layered them with some black Bazzill cardstock. To create the effect of ribbon (which I don't use on male cards) I used some Tim Holtz "Adage" tickets and attached them with staples and wrapped some string around (thanks Leann it came off the pressie you sent me!) to which I added a "dream" charm. I also added a foiled circle sentiment by Craftwork Cards. I then got even more carried away and added more staples to the corners of the card.
I am so excited to be part of the CA&F team and hope my month doesn't pass too quickly....don't you just adore Eric....I think he might be my favourite of the male Wild Sprouts....just for his hair...LOL Be sure to come back tomorrow to see my Anyone for Anya? card and also on Monday for the second of this months previews...this time a female Wild Sprout....anyway I have to dash as I am the official photographer at a small wedding this morning....I am a little excited and nervous and have some small butterflies in my tummy...

Well....today is the big day and at 11.50PM tonight I am officially 40...I know 40 is the new 30...LOL...and 50 is the new 40...to be honest it's just a number and although we are not rich in money as a family we are rich in love....and I will take love over money any day. This evening we are going out as a family for dinner, and then early tomorrow morning Georgia has a gymnastics competition...although she is very nervous again, and says that she doesn't want to take part...so we are telling her we are just going to watch and then her coach will persuade her. And now we are going to take Georgia to her swimming lesson....I lead a very exciting life....can't you tell!

Here is the other notebook I made yesterday....I have told Georgia not to promise to make anymore for a while as I have enough to do already...LOL I have taken an Asda notepad, added another of the calico flowers, some KI Memories ribbon, American Crafts Thickers and a Inkadinkado sentiment....and obviously a Tilda stamp...this one is Happy Tilda and she has been coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E44/E47/E49
Clothing - BG10/BG15/BG18/YG00/YG01
Also I made a card with the Ebony digi image that I had from The Greeting Farm (Ebony is now available as a rubber stamp from Tracy @ Dies to Die For...HERE). The papers are all Basic Grey "Sugar Rush" and I have coloured Ebony with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - C0/C1/C2/C3/C5/C7/C9/R46
Clothing - R46/C5/C7/C9
I have finished off the card with a sentiment by Craftwork Cards, some bling, lace and a couple of decorative pins.
I had a bit of good luck yesterday...I won a free ticket to the NEC craft show at the end of the month.....thanks to Jayne @ Stampasaurus. So that's an extra £10 to spend on stash!!!

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge #21
Here is a decorated notebook that I made to fit with the challenge this week on Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog, they want you to use beads on your project.
The notepad is one that I got from Asda for £1...and I think the colours on it are fab...so I didn't cover it. I used the Strawberry Pirate and coloured with Copics using the following colours to match the book.
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E50/E51/E53
Clothing - BG09/BG15/BG18/R59/E53/R37
Boots - C0/C2/C3/C5
Cutlass - C0/C2/C3/C5/BG09/R59
I have added some KI Memories ribbon, and some American Crafts Thickers for the lettering. The flower was created using the tutorial over on SJ's Little Musings blog...and the beads are in the centre....

Anyone for Anya? - Spring Fever!
This week over on the Anyone for Anya? Challenge Blog our theme is "Spring Fever!", we want to see your spring inspired cards.
For my card I have used one of the Creepy Cakes digi images from The Greeting Farm which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E50/E51/E53
Clothing - R20/R21/R22/YG00/YG01/YG03/YG05/Y21
The papers are all October Afternoon "Farm Fresh" which have been layered with some Bazzill cardstock. I have kept the embellies to a minimum on this one just using some Daffodils from Wild Orchid Crafts available HERE and some butterflies punched with my Martha Stewart Punch and finally I used the SU Mothers Day stamp again. The reason for the simple embellies is that I am taking this card to the Crematorium to leave with a plant for my Mum...and I know they will throw the card away, at least this way all the items on the card are recyclable.
I didn't expect to have to make more Mothers Day cards this weekend....but David took my box of cards to work....and sold all my Mothers Day cards....LOL
Be sure to check out the Anyone for Anya? blog to see the rest of the beautiful cards by the DT.

Friday Sketchers #93
Here is another card I made last night using this weeks sketch over on Friday Sketchers. I have used one of the cute digi images from Squiggle Stamps, this one is called "Little Inventors" and is available HERE. I have coloured him with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E44
Colander - C0/C1/C2/C3
Clothing - B93/B95/B97/Y17/C0/B39
Dog - E30/E31/C0/C1/C2
The papers are all by 3 Bugs in a Rug from the Snips and Snails range, and you can get them HERE from Dies to Die For. I have embellished this one with string from Ikea, a few buttons with string through them, and a sentiment by Craftwork Cards. I tend to keep the embellies to a couple when making male cards....and this one is no exception.
Don't forget you still have plenty of time to enter the March Challenge HERE, you never know you may win this fabby prize...

SJ's Little Musings...Mothers Day Musing!
Yesterday SJ kindly gave us a second freebie image that she had just drawn that morning. The DT didn't get a chance to make anything with it in advance seeing as SJ hadn't even drawn it yet...LOL. So yesterday afternoon and evening I printed and coloured the image and these are the results.
I coloured the image with my Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair (Child) - E50/E51/E53
Hair (Mum) - E25/E27
Clothing (Child) - YG03/Y38/R46/R14/BG32/BG34
Clothing (Mum) - B93/B95/B97/R20/R21/R22/BG32/BG34
The papers I used are all My Minds Eye Quite Contrary "Jack & Jill" and you can get them HERE from Dies to Die For. I have as always embellished.....I cannot resist...no clean and simple for me LOL...Tim Holtz "Adage" tickets, Making Memories mini alpha's, heart pins available HERE from Creative Treasures, Cherry Blossoms Roses and lace available from Wild Orchid Crafts, I also threaded some Anita's satin ribbon in teal through the lace and added a Craft Fairy ribbon bow to the pin.
I have teamed SJ's Little Musing available to download for free HERE, with the sketch over on Friday Sketchers. Be sure to hop on over and check out the sketch and the DT cards.
