All That Scraps - Release Day Sailor Emma & Trevor

It's release day of Sailor Emma & Trevor, you can get them all HERE, and here are the cards I made with this release...

I coloured the images with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E50/E51/E53
Clothing - Y28/B29/E44
Dock - E57/E42/R37/R39/B000
The papers are all Craftwork Cards Anglomania and I have layered them with some Craftwork Cards ritzy red cardstock. I have added some AC satin ribbon, a couple of heart pins and a flag diecut and sentiment also by Craftwork Cards.

I have also created another card with this release...

I have also coloured this image with Copics using the following colours...

The papers are all Craftwork Cards Anglomania and again layered with ritzy red cardstock from Craftwork Cards. I have embellished with flag diecuts and a sentiment also by Craftwork Cards & some seam binding.

Some Odd Girl Challenge - Handmade Embellishment Challenge!

This week over on the Some Odd Girl Blog the theme of our challenge is Handmade Elements, we want to see something you made yourself on your card. For my card I used an image called Bed Time Mae (she was a freebie last year) which I coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Eyes - B21
Hair - E50/E51/E53/E55
Clothing - BG10/BG11/BG72/YG01/YG03/R21/R22
The papers are all Sassafras Lass Indie Girl which I layered with some aqua Bazzill cardstock. I created the rosette flower using a strip of cardstock 12"x1" pleated, then glued the ends together and added a button and thread to the centre. Apart from the flower the only other embellishments are some pearl bling and a Craftwork Cards sentiment.

Cute Card Thursday - A Sketch by Christine!

This week over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog we have a sketch for you provided by DT members Christine. The papers are all My Mind Eye Stella Rose Gertie which I have layered with some Craftwork Cards shimmer cardstock. I have embellished with AC satin ribbon, a couple of heart pins, a Craftwork Cards sentiment, Prima swirl bling (cut up) and a couple of rolled roses using my MFT Die-namics die.

Lili of the Valley Challenge - Circles!

Tiddly Inks Challenge - Shaker Card!

Over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog this week we want you to make a shaker card. Meredith has kindly written a tutorial with pics over on the challenge blog so if you have never made one...now is the time!

For my card I have used Georgia the Gymnast and coloured her with Copics using the following colours...

The papers are all My Minds Eye from the new Stella Rose Gertie paper pad , I have kept it pretty simple just adding some stars punch out of the papers with my SU punch and a Craftwork Cards sentiment and a few Making Memories mini alpha's for the "You Did It!". I filled the inside of the shaker part with heart and star confetti in matching colours.

Another ODD creation!

Here is the final sample I made for my Saturday Challenge on Feb Digi Day at Some Odd Girl. This image is called Head in the Clouds Kaylee and I have coloured her with Copics using the following colours...

The papers are a mix of SU Elegant Soiree (spotted) and Prima Marketing Angelique, and all are layered with Bazzill kraft cardstock. I created the cloud freehand after printing the sentiment with the PC, I finished off with an Eva Creative bling swirl and some pearl bling. I only added the swirl bling at the very last minute...and now I am glad I did...cause I love it.

Anyone for Anya? - Anything but a card!

This week over on the Anyone for Anya? Challenge blog our theme is Anything but a Card, and as the challenge title suggests, we want to see anything but a card...

I have made a selection of corner bookmarks 2 featuring the Oliver & Amelia Little Dreamer images and the other three are CC Designs digi stamps Puppy Kiki La Rue, Honey & Teddy & Scarf Honey. All the images are coloured with Copics. The papers are all October Afternoon Fly a Kit and I have embellished with some SU choc chip taffeta ribbon, pearl pins, white poppies and some Melissa Frances rubons.

I intended to make just a couple....but got so carried away with the challenge...I ended up making five! So be sure to hop on over HERE and see what the other DT members came up with....there was such an amazing selection...

I am off to bed early (well for me before 1am is classed as early) as in the morning I am off to the NEC with Tracy from Creative Treasures to the Craft Hobby & Stitches International (Trade) show...a last minute invite....and I cannot wait, don't mind getting up early for that!

Another card featuring Some Odd Girl...

Here is another of the sample cards I made for my challenge last week over on the SOG Digi Day....if you remember my challenge was to print and colour on kraft cardstock.

For my card I used the images called Fairy Fly Away Mae which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...

The papers are all My Minds Eye Mabel available HERE, and Kraft cardstock available HERE. I have added Cherry Blossom, some pearl bling, and a Craftwork Cards sentiment layered with paper cut with my SU label punch. I also used my EK success border punch to create the wave on the green paper. 

If you haven't had a go at stamping/printing onto kraft cardstock and colouring....go have a bash, it's great and you are sure to love the results. I will be back tomorrow with my Anyone for Anya? project...

SJ's Little Musings - Basket of Chicks!

This week over on SJ's Little Musings she has a "Basket of Chicks" available to buy. For just £1.50 you get 16 images, 8 coloured and 8 un-coloured...bargain.

For my card I have used one of the pre-coloured images...I just thought this sleepy bunny was so cute. The papers are all from the new Prima Marketing pad, Celebrate available HERE. I have layered them with some pale yellow (lemony) Bazzill cardstock, added a sentiment I made on the PC cut with labels Nestabilities and added some pearl bling and yellow satin ribbon tied in a lovely bow.

Cute Card Thursday - Shiny Happy Cards!

This week over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog our theme is Shiny Happy Cards. We want to see your cards/creations that feature something shiny on your card...Glossy Accents, metal charm, metal flowers, mirror card....the shinier the better. Christy very kindly offered the DT an image of their choice....most of the lovely ladies were able to use them, so you will see 8 of the 11 DT cards feature a Tiddly Inks image this week....how cool is that!

The papers are all My Minds Eye Lil' Robots, which I have layered with silver mirror card. I have also used a Sizzix embossing folder on the silver mirror card, I love the robot feel it creates. I have kept embellishments to a minimum just adding some nail head bling, and the sentiment that comes with the image.

Lili of the Valley Challenge - Favourite Colour Combo!

This week ocer on the Lili of the Valley Challenge Blog we want you to make a card featuring a LOTV image and your favourite colour combo....I just love Red, Teal & Black...yum yum!

For my card I have used the Let's Party image again...I couldn't help myself....she reminded me of Georgia and a strop she was having earlier this week...LOL. Anyway, back to the card, I coloured her with Copics using the following colours...

Tiddly Inks Challenge - Monochromatic!

This week over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog our theme is Monochromatic...we want to see your one colour or B&W cards. For my card I have used one of their "Retiring Soon" images called "Just a Little Note - Typewriter" for the bargain price of just $0.50...50 cents...what a steal!!!

I have only added some Copic E50 to the paper in the typewriter and the typewriter keys... The papers are all by Stampin' Up Newsprint and I made a flower using a Magnolia Doo-Hickey called Peony Petals. The flower centre is made from bling centre from Hobby Horse Crafts, and I also added some jet black bling, AC black ribbon and a heart pin that I coloured black with a Sharpie. I added the text to the image in PS Elements using a typewritter font.

Cards from Some Odd Girl Feb Digi Day...

Some Odd Girl had their February Digi Day over on their SNR group on Saturday, and I was holding the Saturday Challenge. I challenged the group to print onto kraft cardstock and then colour using your regular colouring medium. I actually made four cards and this was the first of them, she is called Dancin Kaylee and I have..as always, coloured with my Copics using the following colours..

Hair - 100/C3
Clothing - R37/R39/B93/B95/B97/E50
The papers are a mixure of October Afternoon Report Card (red spotted) and Prima Marketing Moulin Rouge (blue spotted) and I have matted them onto more kraft cardstock. I have also used the Darkroom Door Rockstar set to add the stars and Live Out Loud to the main image and the sentiment is by Whimsy Stamps and is a digi designed my Ann Vento of Raindrop Echo Designs.

Also a Happy Valentines Day to one and all...I am alone this Valentines as David is back in Liverpool for a few days...I did however get a few small gifts from Georgia...a fab mug, 3 soft toys and a union jack bling mouse for my PC......that girl cannot help but be drawn to bling...she is a chip off the old block!

All That Scraps - CC Designs Digi Honey Release...

Ok, so the images were released yesterday but I was having internet problems...and Blogger was being difficult when I could get online...so here a pics of the cards etc I made with the new Gymnast Honey, Hippie Honey & Bunny Honey...you can get them all HERE

The Bookmarks were made using the "July 2009 Summertime Collection Pack" by Creativity by Crystal from Jessica Sprage.com. The papers on the Hippie Honey card are the September "2009 paper collection" also by Creativity by Crystal from Jessica Sprague.com. The papers in the Bunny Honey card are a mix of Shabby Princess "Shabby Tea Party" and A Cherry on Top "Monster Jam". I have embellished the cards with ribbon, flowers, pearls, pins and seam binding...

These will be the last Honey Digis released for a while so be sure to check grab some while you can...

It's my first challenge over on the Some Odd Girl blog, and our theme is Some Odd Girl Only Challenge of 3 Hearts...we want to see at least 3 hearts on your card/project, and a SOG image. This week over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog our theme is Hearts & Flowers, we want to see your cards that feature both.

Tiddly Inks Challenge - Love is in the Air!

Papercraft Essentials - Issue 64...

Here is a card I made being featured in the current issue (64) of Papercraft Essentials. This was a very last minute thing as I made it for Dies to Die For just the a couple of days before it needed to be received by the magazine......I had to make and post it with the space of 14 hours....

I have used Miss Anya from the Later Sk8ter available HERE, stamped onto kraft cardstock and coloured with Copics using the following colours...

The papers are all from the My Minds Eye Fine & Dandy True Blue 6x6 paper pad, currently OOS at Dies to Die For. I have also used a MFT Die-namics Jumbo RicRac die. I used my Nestabilities to cut the stars.

Here is a card I made with one of the new Kraftin' Kimmie images, this one is called Stella Strawberry. I have coloured her with Copics using the following colours...

The papers are all by My Minds Eye Quite Contrary Mary Mary, Sweetie Pie - Strawberry, Sweetie Pie - Berry Preserves, Happy Birthday - Grown Up and Best of Friends - Share.
I have layered with some Bazzill cardstock. I used all the stamps from the set, and finally finished off with some ribbon and pins. To create the lace border I used a Martha Stewart Valentine Lace punch. You can find all the other "Berry Girls" HERE
