Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge "One for the Boys"

This week over on the Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge Blog the theme is "One for the Boys". For my ATC I have used a couple of stamps....it's amazing what you can fit on a 2.5 x 3.5 inch ATC...I have used Pirate Edwin by Magnolia, and the Pirate Ship is by Whipper Snapper. Both images have been coloured with Distress Inks, and I have added a sentiment with my ATB tape writer.

Pop over to the blog and check out the rest of the DT's ATC's...they are all so different using so many different stamps.

This afternoon I am leaving David in charge and driving up to Coventry to stay overnight with Marlene....and then on Thursday we are off to the NEC to the HobbyCraft Show....I have my spends safely tucked into my purse and a shopping list which no doubt I will come home without having purchased any of the items on it....LOL

Tomorrow I am hoping to have another DT card using the lovely Dreams2Stamp rubber stamps...Lovely bright colours....very zingy.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge 22 "The Two of Us"

This weeks challenge over on Cute Card Thursday is "The Two of Us", and as luck would have it I just finished this card this morning, and it fits this weeks theme.

I have used a super cute Whipper Snapper Designs image, stamped when I visited Marlene...thanks Hun. The papers are all Basic Grey "Archaic ". Again I have used my ProMarkers to colour the image. The ribbon is choc chip tafetta by Stampin' Up and the buttons were from my stash.

As always the cards from the Cute Card Thursday DT are amazing, and always inspire me to check out other stamp manufacturers...thanks Ladies for helping me to spend more money on stamps...LOL

Happy Birthday David/Daddy

Today is my Hubby's 41st Birthday and Georgia and I spent Wednesday afternoon finishing his cards. This is the one Georgia made...how fab is it?

She chose the papers, I cut them. She coloured and blended her images, and I cut them out for her. I think she did an amazing job and her Daddy loved it.

And here is mine, I used no stamps on my card for a change. I had this fab Sassafra Lass ""Serendipity Robots" paper and decided to use it for Hubby's card...with a few added Doodlebug letter stickers.

For his Birthday we bought him a Nikon Battery Grip for his D200...boy did that take some tracking down as now the camera is older nobody is stocking all the accessories...we got the last one at Camera Box and it arrived yesterday in perfect time.

So I am going to pop to Asda after work and get him a Birthday card, ad something nice and easy for dinner.....I say nice and easy meaning I will cook...think that will make it about half a dozen times I have cooked so far this year...don't ya just love men that can cook!

Have a fab day everyone.

Arrrrrrggggghhhhhhh me hearties.......

Here is a card I made last night with no challenge in mind. Georgia is making a birthday card for Daddy for the 3rd, and she was colouring all of the stamps I have used...and I just had this idea for a card....so stamped the same for myself...and this is what I came up with.

I have used pirate Edwin and the skull & crossbone, and the pirate ship and map are both by Whipper Snapper, the sentiment stamp is by Catslife Press. I love that you can add the name and age of the child to the stamp...very cool. The papers are all Rusty Pickle "Mayflower". I have coloured all the images with my Prismacolor's and blended with Sansador using paper stumps. Edwin's wings have been coloured with Sakura black glitter gel pen.

Not sure what Georgia's card will look like, but will add a picture tomorrow once it is finished.
