Another Combined Challenge...

Time has been a little short this week, so in an effort to keep on top of everything I have combined a couple of challenges. I have combined the lovely sketch over on the Whiff of Joy challenge blog with the theme of "bloomin' marvelous" on the A Spoon Full of Sugar challenge blog.

Sor for my card I have used an image by Elisabeth Bell for Whiff ofg Joy, she is from the Lizzie & Herb collection. She has been coloured with ProMarkers using the following colours...
Ivory/Blush (Skin)
Umber (Hair)
Rose Pink/Lavender (Coat)
Lavender (Tights)
Amethyst (Ear Muffs/Muff)
Black/Amethyst (Boots)
The papers are all DCWV "Rose Tinted Christmas" and the cardstock is by Core-dinations. I added some Prima flowers with a brad and spacer (meeting the ASFOS theme), the paper ribbon is Narratived by Karen Russell for Creative Imaginations and the snowflake buttons are by Doodlebug. I have also added Stickles to the centre of the flower, and Sakura clear glitter gel pen to Lizzie's hair.

Both challenges are fab, and both DT's created some amazing cards....so go and check them out.

**ETA - Julie, a spacer is something used in beading...I assume you would thread it between beads...HTH**

A Whiff of Joy Blog Challenge 8 "Boy's Christmas"

Over on the Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog this week the theme is "Boy's Christmas". For my card I used Matthew laying down and he has been coloured with ProMarkers using the following colours...
Ivory/Blush (Skin)
Cinnamon/Cocoa (Hair)
Cornflower (Dungarees)
Ruby/Moss (T-Shirt)
Pastel Blue (Shadow)
The papers are KI Memories Love Elsie "Noel" as are the chipboard parcels and the stickers.

I was hoping to see my Magnolia Winter Club Kit today, sadly the postie didn't bring them....here's hoping for tomorrow...fingers crossed.

Whiff of Joy Challenge #7 & Cute Card Thursday Challenge #35

This week I have combined a sketch challenge over on Whiff of Joy challenge blog, with the theme of "Fairies & Angels" over on Cute Card Thursday. I have used the "Melinda Christmas Angel" stamp by Whiff of Joy, coloured with ProMarkers using the following colours...
Ivory/Blush (Skin)
Cinnamon (Hair)
Rose Pink (Dress)
Amethyst (Jacket)
Berry Red/Holly (Holly)
Cool Grey 1/Rose Pink (Parcel)
I have used papers from the "Rose Tinted Christmas" DCWV 6x6 paper pad, layered with Black Bazzil Bling & some random pink cardstock. To finish off I have added a sentiment by Stampendous, Sakura clear glitter gel pen to her hair, Stickles star dust glitter to her wings and finally some bling from my stash.

Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog "Sketch by Heather"

This week over on the Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog there is a lovely sketch provided by Heather. For my card I have used WOJ stamp; Melinda blowing kisses, and I have coloured her with ProMarkers using the following colours...
Ivory/Blush (Skin)
Cocoa (Hair & Trousers)
Cool Aqua (Top & Hairband)
Ruby (Hearts)
The papers are all by Chatterbox "Botanico", I have added a sentiment by Hero Arts, but I have stamped all the words out separately and spread them around the card. The tab was made using the Stampin' Up tab punch, and finally I added some Prima blossoms with a Doodlebug glitter brad and a spacer from eBay and some buttons from an old Jenni Bowlin kit.

I am pleased with the card, as I loooovvvveee the colour combo (teal and turquoise are my favourite colours).
