Scrappin' with Squiggle Images...

Having wanted to do something a little different this week for the Squiggle Stamps Blog I decided to make a Scrapbook Layout that used Miss Evie Kitty, you can get her HERE as a digi image. I have coloured her with Copics, but cannot remember the colours....probably
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E50/E53
Clothing - C5/C7/C9
The papers on the layout are a real mix including Junkitz ones from about 2006, and the web one is by Making Memories. I have added a Junkitz label, some Making Memories stickers and chipboard letters, some Prima bling and a few bats punched from Doodlebug Sugar Coated cardstock with my Martha Stewart Bat punch.

Easel Card Calendar...

Back in September last year I bought some little calendars by Anita's from The Range and I suddenly remembered that I hadn't made the calendars that I planned with Georgia. So in a bid to not waste them, I have been busily making Easel Card Calendars. So far I have made five, and here are two of them. You will see some of the others later in the week...

This first one is using DCWV "The Doodle Around Stack" and I have just added a little bear cut with my Go-Kreate dies and a bit of ribbon and bling, plus of course I made her a little notepad. The idea of the ribbons is to that she can tie a pen to it. The theme of this one is school...September 2 July, Monday 2 Friday.
Here it is from the side....
This one was for my friends Lynsey. I have used some gorgeous WRMK "Tiffanys" papers that are gorgeous and all glittered. I have also added some chipboard letters saying "It's a Date" plus a couple of chipboard flowers covered in bling and a crocheted flower and a fabric flower. Again I have added some ribbon so that she can tie a pen on.
Here is a side view.

I am still so thankfully that the fabby DawnyP sent me an Easel card for Christmas...so that I could work out how to make one...LOL

Today is so bitterly cold, with snow forecast...which is pretty much the story for the whole country.

Some of the stuff I have made.....

I have been having a great time, scrapping, chatting, laughing & eating....

And here are some of the things I have made so far...

The picture on this layout was only taken on Friday at the Harvest Assembly at Georgia's new school. As she came out I grabbed this quick photo of her and her new friend. The papers are all October Afternoon, and I have also used one of the Joournal Diecuts, Prima bling and letters by Sassafras Lass. I ran out of letters so have used the negative.....

Here is a cute Halloween box I made with my Sizzix Box Die 2....I cut the box from Doodlebug flocked cardstock...so it feels fabulous and velvety. The embellishments are a mixture of Making Memories ones from the last couple of years.

Finally, here is the first page in my Prima Canvas album (Donna Downey Collection). It took me from April until Ally Pally last weekend. I have used some Jo Sonja and Blonde Moments paints, a Prima Journalling card, MAMBI Bling, Prima Blossom and the butterflies were cut with my X-Cut 3D punch and embellished with pearls. Finally I have added some Jo Sonja opal dust to the canvas for a little extra sparkle.

Be sure to come back tomorrow to see the card I made for this weeks challenge on Anyone For Anya? Challenge Blog.

April 2008 ScrapaGoGo DT work...

I was really pleased with my designs this month, and received lovely feedback. Firstly I did this layout of my DD and her friend with a halloween picture. Although the picture was from halloween it really works well with the MM 5th Avenue range that was in the kit.

My next layout featured pictures of Georgia taken in the park...snotty nosed and still darn cute.

And finally my PDF class for this month was to make a mini book from the MM Journalling Book. This is a great way to make a quick and easy mini book for those of you that are nervous about making your own. All you need to do is remove and use some of the pages, add pictures and decorate. It even has a cool acetate cover that you can decorate....how on trend and it is already there for you.

This month kit is equally as lush, a mix of papers from Sassafras, Prima, Scenic Route, Pink Paislee & Luxe Designs. If you want to find out more, click on the ScrapaGoGo icon to the right and check the kits out.
