Crafty Angels Weekly Challenge - What Colour Are You?

This week over on the Crafty Angels Weekly Challenge Blog our theme is "What colour are You!". Well those that know me know I luurrrrvveee TEAL, loads of my clothes are that colour as are my specs. So for my card I just had to incorporate it. I have used images by The Greeting Farm "My Guy Ian" which I have used paper piecing, decoupage and coloured. The colouring was of course done with my Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E47
Shoes - BG18
The papers that I have used as Rusty Pickle "Pop Star" which I have coloured in places with the BG18 Copic, and then layered them with some Core-dinations cardstock. The fabby sentiment is by Inkadinkado, and I love how it fills the white space on the image. I then punched a few stars with my Stampin' Up punch and added a couple of screw head brads to finish.

I am pleased with how it turned out. Please pop on over to the Crafty Angels Blog and join in with us this week.

TGF Sketches

I have been busily following the sketches over on The Greeting Farm....all 12 of them. So far I have completed 10 of 12...just 2 more to finish today...

So here are a couple of them...
Sketch #5

For this sketch I have used one of the digi images and flipped him so that I could create a card that looked like they were fighting each other. I have coloured the images with Copics and used the new Basic Grey "Origins" papers with just the addition of four brads and a sentiment by Craftwork Cards.

Sketch #6

For this card I have also used Digi Autumn Ian coloured with Copics. The papers are all Basic Grey "Archaic" and again as it is a male card I have just added four brads and a sentiment by Craftwork Cards.

I have more of my cards I made with the sketches to show tomorrow...

There is also a heart punched using my new Stampin' Up heart punch (the three heart one). The sentiment is by Craftwork Cards and I have again layered it with my SU oval punch and also the designer label punch. In Anya's hair I have also added some Sakura clear glitter gel pen for a little added sparkle...a girl needs a little sparkle in her life.

Another card from my weekend away...

Here is another Miss Anya/My Guy Ian card that I made while I was away at the weekend...this one also sold while I was there....LOL

I have used a Miss Anya from the first set, which I masked off and then added a My Guy Ian so that he is stood just behind....which is how I see most Husbands/Partners when they are shopping with their better halves...LOL Both images have been coloured with Copics, but I cannot remember all the colours...sorry. The papers are all Basic Grey "Indian Summer". I have used my Nesties to matt and layer the main image. The blossom is by My Minds Eye, then I have used some Anita's brown satin ribbon, a heart pin, a Stampin Up stamp and punch which I then put a Craftwork Cards sentiment over the top of. All the edges have been inked with Versa Magic in Jumbo Java.

I am loving the My Guy Ian stamps...and love to added Miss Anya to the mix...they make such a cute couple don't they!

Anyone for Anya? Week 7 - You're Anya!

This week on the Anyone for Anya? Challenge Blog the theme is "You're Anya!". We want you to make a card with the Anya (or any other stamp from The Greeting Farm) that reflects your personality...so use the one that suits you best.

For my card I have used Shopping Anya from the original Miss Anya set. I also added My Guy Ian, who has come along for moral support and to carry the bags when they get too heavy...like all good Husbands/Partners are supposed to do. Anya & Ian have been coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair (Anya) - E50/E31
Hair (Ian) - E31/E33
Clothing (Anya) - B32/E47/E49
Bags - E31/R46/B32
Clothing (Ian) - B93/B95/R46
The papers are by Collage Press "Camden". I have used a Martha Stewart Valentine Lace Punch for the heart border and my Nesties to create the mat for the main image. The ribbon is some I found lurking at the bottom of my ribbon mountain, the flowers are all by Prima, layered and attached with a Doodlebug sugar coated brad. Finally I have added a red heart pin and a sentiment by Craftwork Cards that has been layered using my Stampin' Up oval and scalloped oval punches.

As I was finishing off this card, Lyns asked to buy it to give to her hubby for his birthday, so I tailored the sentiment especially for her....and now I have had an order for another very similar for Sasha to give to her Sister...I will be back with that one on Monday...as long as I remember to take a photo before I let her take it home....

Tomorrow is our last day...all too soon good things must come to an end.....I have had a fab day and have even wandered around the crop room and lounge area in my PJ's.....scrapping in PJ's is so much more comfortable.

Don't forget to come back on Monday to my project for the new challenge on Crafty Angels...

Papertake Weekly - DawnyP's Sketch #24...part 2

If you didn't know it.....I do love a DawnyP sketch, so just couldn't resist using this weeks one again. This time I have used the other Ian in the My Guy Ian set. I have coloured him with Copics using the following colours....
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E47
Jeans - C1/C3/C5/C7/C9
Hat - BG07/BG09
Top - BV29/BG07/BG09
The papers are scraps of Rusty Pickle "Pop Star" (you know the ones that you can colour in), and a piece of Sassafras Lass, all layered with Coredinations cardstock. I coloured the star on the Rusty Pickle papers to bring the colour scheme together and finally just added a Craftwork Cards sentiment.

Marlene and I are getting ready to go off to Ally Pally....Marlene is just a little excited...ok make that very. She is sat here in my Craft Room in MY dressing gown using MY pens and MY stash.....and I am lovin' having her here.

Anyway, better get my butt into action as before you know it we will need to leave...yay!

Papertake Weekly - DawnyP's Sketch #24

Here is a card I made with the sketch supplied by Dawny over on Papertake Weekly Challenge Blog. I just couldn't resist using one of my new My Guy Ian stamps from The Greeting Farm as soon as they arrived. I have coloured him with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E37/E47/E49
Jeans - B95/B97
Shirt - R46
Trainers - R46
The papers I have used are all Prima Marketing "The {You}th Collection" and I have layered them up with some cardstock from my stash...I think a mixture of Bazzill & DCWV. Instead of adding bling (not so good on a male card) I have used some brads. The sentiment is also from the My Guy Ian set and I have used layered it with scraps and raised on 3D foam pads.

Thanks Dawny and the PTW DT...great work, as we have come to expect.

I am up early this morning as I just cannot sleep.....Marlene is coming over this afternoon and I am all excited....I am Soooooo sad..I know....LOL
