Sketch Saturday


Here is a card I made with one of the new Kraftin' Kimmie images, this one is called Stella Strawberry. I have coloured her with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E11/E13
Eyes - B21
Clothing - YG03/YG05/R32/R35/R37/R39/R50
The papers are all by My Minds Eye Quite Contrary Mary Mary, Sweetie Pie - Strawberry, Sweetie Pie - Berry Preserves, Happy Birthday - Grown Up and Best of Friends - Share.
I have layered with some Bazzill cardstock. I used all the stamps from the set, and finally finished off with some ribbon and pins. To create the lace border I used a Martha Stewart Valentine Lace punch. You can find all the other "Berry Girls" HERE

Anyone for Anya? - Two Images...

This week over on the Anyone for Anya? Challenge Blog we want to see your cards/projects that feature two images...
For my card I have used both the Miss Anya & My Guy Ian from the Later Sk8ter set which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...

The papers are all Basic Grey from the Wander 6x6 pad and I have inked all the edges with VersaMagic chalk ink in Brick Red and embellished with a few buttons from my stash and a sentiment by Craftwork Cards.

A Little Polar Love...

Here is a card I made using the Polar Love stamp by Squiggle Stamps. You can purchase it in either RUBBER or DIGI format. As the Polar Bears are white there is very little to colour. I have used Echo Park "Wintertime" papers available HERE, which I have layered with some Bazzill cardstock and Bazzill Bling cardstock. I have embellished with some snowflake stickers from the paper pack and also a Craftwork Cards Christmas sentiment and some red bling. I also added some Stickles in Diamond to the image and the snowflakes.

Four in One!

Here is a card I have been making since before the weekend....with all my other committments, I put aside the coloured image until I had time to make a card. I sometimes just love to colour with no card/theme/challenge in mind....just for the therapy...LOL

Anyway this card combines the challenges on....

Papertake Weekly - Redo (Monochrome Madness)
A Spoon Full of Sugar - Sparkle & Shine (There is glitter on the background paper and on the wings of the image...and some pearl bling...and I think her hair looks like it is shining too.

For my card I have used Head in the Clouds Kaylee from Some Odd Girl which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...

Clothing - E40/E41/E42/E43/E44/E47
The papers are all DCWV Linen Closet and I have embellished with Cherry Blossoms, pearls, heart pins and a Craftwork Cards sentiment.

Anyone for Anya? - Colour Combo

This week over on the Anyone for Anya? Challenge Blog we have a colour combo for you...

So here is my card using the colours (green/blue/beige)...

I have used the Later Sk8ter set by The Greeting Farm, I have coloured him with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E44/E47/E49
Clothing - B93/B95/B97/E41/E42/E43/E44
I have used Basic Grey Granola (one of my fave BG ranges) and have paper pieced the middle of the top. The sentiment is by Inkadinkado, and I have simply added some Ikea string and a button, held on with staples.
I have also used this weeks sketch over on the Sketch Saturday challenge blog, and into the Basic Grey challenge as they want paper piecing on your card.

Pixie Dust Studio Challenge - In Between the Newsprint!

This week over on the Pixie Dust Studios Challenge Blog our theme is "In Between the Newsprint". We want to see your creations featuring Black & White plus one other colour. For my card I added pink (love that colour combo).

The image I have used is called Zeeba the Zebra and she has been coloured with Copics using the following colours...W3/W5/W7/W9/R01/R20
The patterned paper is by 7Gypsies and I have added some Bazzill cardstock and also some Doodlebug Sugar Coated Cardstock. I have embellished with a few cherry blossoms and pearl pins, plus a Craftwork Cards sentiment.

Pixie Dust Studios - Funhouse Release Day!!!

It's release day over on the Pixie Dust Studios store.....the Funhouse collection are now ready for you to purchase.
I have two more cards to show you with this release....

This first one features Ultimate Vamp Fan, and as always I have coloured her with Copics using the following colours...

The background paper is Basic Grey from the Eerie pad and I have layered it with a piece of Provocraft cardstock. The letters and stickers are all by Making Memories and I have added some Heidi Grace bats and Martha Stewart punched bats.

For my second card I have used the Frankie Funhouse Fairy image, again coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - 100/C3
Clothing - YG03/YG05/V17/YR04/C5/C7
The papers on this one are the same as yesterdays K&CO and I have layered with more Provocraft Cardstock. Embellishments are kept simple on this one as the papers in the background are so glittery, and all I added were more of the Making Memories alpha and some American Craft ribbon.

Cute Card Thursday - Whateva!


This week over on Cute Card Thursday we have an open theme. For my card I have used one of the images available to buy from this weeks sponsor...Digital Delights. I have coloured the cute giraffe with my Copics using the following colours...

The papers are all PaperMania "Summer Bloom" and I have layered them with some kraft cardstock. I have embellished with some lace, a couple of Fancy Pants pins, a Tim Holtz Adage ticket, a couple of PaperMania buttons and a sentiment by Craftwork Cards. The image has also been altered in Photoshop Elements to add the "It's a Girl!" to the banner.

Pixie Dust Studios Challenge - A Gift Card Holder...

This week over on the Pixie Dust Studios Challenge Blog our theme is "Gift Card Holders". We want to see yours. I have created a pocket in one of my regular cards, and inserted a tag...and attached to the tag is a gift card...all you do is pull the tag out to see it.

I have used the new Clare image from the new Nutcracker Pixie Pack, which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...

Tiddly Inks Challenge #12 Summer Fun with Water, Sand & Toys

Anyone for Anya? - Fabulous Flowers!


This week over on the Anyone for Anya? challenge blog our theme is "fabulous flowers". We want to see your floral creations...they can be shop bought, handmade...whatever takes your fancy. For my card I have made some tissue paper flowers.

The main image is called "Madelynn" and is available HERE from Dies to Die For. She has been coloured with Copics (also available HERE from Dies to Die For) using the following colours...

The papers are all Cosmo Cricket "Hello Sunshine" and I have added a Melissa Frances rubon the the image. I made the flowers using tissue paper circles, scrunched up and held in place with a brad....and then each of the eight layers was squashed into the middle, once that is done they just need to be teased out...and stuck on. I have also added a bling swirl using my Bazzill Bling template.

I have embellished with some Stampin' Up choc chip taffeta, American Craft Puffy Thickers, a couple of pearl pins, some pearl bling and an Inkadinkado kids quote sentiment. I used my Martha Stewart zig zig punch, and the sketch was the one from last week on Sketch Saturday.

Cute Card Thursday - Boyz to Men!

This week over on the Cute Card Thursday challenge blog our theme is Boyz to Men! We want to see your cards for the Men, or Boys in your life. This week I made two cards...one for a boy and one for a young man.

For this card I have used one of the Mikey digi images from Charmed Cards and Crafts, he has also been coloured with Copics...but I forgot to write down all the numbers for you....and I cannot remember them.
The papers are also by Pink Paislee this time from the "365 Degrees". I have just added a sentiment by Craftwork Cards (available HERE from Creative Treasures) and a few brads from my stash. This card also uses the DawnyP's sketch over on Papertake Weekly.

The papers are all Basic Grey "Porcelain", I used the more plain pieces in the range to matt and layer the patterned papers. I have embellished with some flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, a couple of Heidi Grace decorative pins, a ticket sentiment that I made on the PC, and some pearl bling from my stash.

I have coloured Eleanor to look just like my daughter Georgia, the bear even looks like her beloved (and now a little mangy) Newton's Law Bear.

I have also used the sketch over on Sketch Saturday, this is the second time I have used it this week, but I made the card for someone who ordered a 16th boy card....and forgot to take a photo...LOL

Club Anya & Friends - Day Four of Previews...

So today is the turn of the new Oliver and Amelia set...and here is my card...isn't Amelia just adorable...Georgia walk around hugging our cats like that...LOL

I have embellished with some SU "Basic Gray" taffeta ribbon, two decorative heart pins a couple of flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, a dotted ribbon bow from Craft Fairy and a Craftwork Cards sentiment.

Cute Card Thursday - Dimensions!

This week over on the Cute Card Thursday challenge blog our theme is "Dimensions". We want to see your dimensional cards and projects. I have also used the fab sketch over on Sketch Saturday.

For my card I have used a Magnolia stamps called "Happy Tilda" and she has been coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E50/E51/E53
Clothing - E77/BG10/BG11/BG13
The papers are a mixture of Prima Marketing "Shabby Chic" and "Strawberry Kisses" available HERE from Dies to Die For (and don't forget you can also get Copics from them too). I have raised each layer up on 3D foam....so it is quite dimensional. I have embellished with some lace and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, a crown charm, some heart pins, and a Maya Road pearl pin. The sentiments are a mixture of Inkadinkado quote stamp and Craftwork Cards diecut.

I have embellished with some pearl bling, Tim Holtz "Adage" tickets and some butterflies punched with a Martha Stewart punch. I finished off by using a Craftwork Cards sentiment.

Here is a card I made using this weeks sketch over on Sketch Saturday and the theme over on Just Magnolia.

The papers are My Minds Eye "Be Loved", I kept the card pretty simply embellished as they papers were so gorgeous. All I have added is a coupon stamped with a Studio G stamp, some Heidi Grace decorative pins, and some sentiments by Craftwork Cards.

Anyone for Anya? - Flower Power

The papers are all October Afternoon "Farm Fresh" and I have layered them with some co-ordinating Bazzill cardstock. I used the fabby sketch over on Sketch Saturday, and have embellished the card with some buttons and bling from my stash and the daffodils are brand new from Wild Orchid Crafts....and are stunning. I was very lucky as Paul had given me some to sample when he dropped my order around on Friday....all I can say is yum....don't think they will last long and I think I will need more! The little double daisy is from Creative Treasures and is adorable and matches the papers perfectly....so much so I have now run out of them....and need more.
