Lili of the Valley Challenge - Pink, White & Silver!

This week over on the Lili of the Valley Challenge Blog we are sad to announce it is our last challenge of the year...infact it is our last challenge ever....Lili the Valley will no longer be running a challenge blog......but don't be sad as Jacqui will be running a new independent challenge featuring Lili of the Valley images...it will be called Lilis Little Fairies Challenge.

Anyway here is a card I made using James the Bear - Christmas Cracker, which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Bear - C0/C1/C2/C3
Hat - R81/R83
Cracker - R81/R83/C3/C5
The papers are all DCWV Rose-Tinted Christmas which I have layered with some silver mirror card. I have added an old Craftwork Cards bauble sentiment, some silver ribbon salvage from a gift I got from the Lush store and a few snowflakes punched with my Martha Stewart punch.

Lili of the Valley Challenge - Anything Goes!

This week over on the Lili of the Valley Challenge Blog our theme is Anything Goes....you can do whatever/make whatever you like using a Lili of the Valley stamp/diecut.

For my card I have used one of the Jenny the Bear stamps, this one is called  Gifts Galore which I have coloured with Copics using the following colour...
Bear - C0/C1/C2
Hat & Scarf - B000/B00/B01/B02
Gifts - B000/B00/B01/B02/Y21
Robin - R29/E25
The papers are some scraps of Dream Street Wonderland papers from 2008 that I had laying around. I have kept this one pretty simple by just using an EK Success border punch and the snowflakes that came out I have added to the card. I have embellished with some AC satin ribbon, a couple of Making Memories pins and a Craftwork Cards sentiment.

Lili of the Valley Challenge - Creature Comforts!

This week on the Lili of the Valley Challenge Blog our theme is Creature Comforts...Your card should include a LOTV stamp with an animal on.

For my card I have used one of the new stamps being release today...HERE, this one is called The Potting Shed. I have coloured the image with Copics using the following colours...
Mice - C0/C2
Pots - E15/E17
Fence - E57
Pansies - BV02/BV04/G12/G14
Misc. - W0/W2/E41/Y32/R37
The papers are all Do Crafts Tulip and I have layered them with some Bazzill Kraft cardstock. I have added some AC satin ribbon, a few pins (the purple one was white and I coloured it with Sharpies). The sentiment is a fab freebie from Create with TLC and I have added some flowers and bling.

Lili of the Valley Sneak Peek - Little Cutie!

So here is a sneak peek of one of the new images being released at the NEC this weekend, and if you cannot get to the NEC, they will be available online from 10th November.

I have stamped the image onto Craftwork Cards Digital cardstock, and coloured it with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Clothing - E51/E53
Ducks - Y21/YR31/B21
Teddy - E30/E31
Water - B000

The papers are all 7Gypsies Baby Oh Boy, I have added some AC satin ribbon, a couple of pins (the duck is Fancy Pants and the heart is Heidi Grace). The sentiment has been created with a Melissa Frances rub-on, a American Crafts Thickers number "1", Making Memories mini alphas and a Craftwork Cards sentiment.

Lili of the Valley Challenge - Sketch

This week over on the Lili of the Valley Challenge Blog it's Sketch Time. For my card I have used one of the Beary Mine die-cut squares which I cut using my Nestabilities. The papers are all Making Memories Mistletoe which I have layered with some shimmery red cardstock from Craftwork Cards. I have added some SU 11/4 inch ribbon, a few pins, some bling and a Craftwork Cards sentiment.

Cute Card Thursday - Tree-mendous!

This week over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog our theme is Tree-Mendous.

For my card I have used one of the Die Cut Designs Sheets, this one is called Beary Merry Christmas, to which I have added some Stickles. The papers are all Making Memories Mistletoe which I have layered with some Craftwork Cards red shimmer cardstock. I have embellished with some red bling, a sentiment and tree cut from one of the sheets of paper.

I adore these die-cuts...I always love the cards that I make with them. Be sure to check out the rest of the DT's Tree-mendous cards!!!!

Lili of the Valley Challenge - Warm & Cozy

This week over on the Lili of the Valley Challenge Blog our theme is Warm & Cozy. For my card I have used one of the Xmas images called Igloo for Two which I have coloured with Copics using the following  colours...
W5/W7/W9/C0/C2/R83/BG53
The papers are all My Minds Eye Be Merry which I have layered with some random cardstock from my stash. I have added some organza ribbon, a Craftwork Cards sentiment and some trees cut from the papers. On the scene I have also added some Stickles and FlowerSoft.

Cute Card Thursday - Animal Crackers!

This week over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog our theme is Animal Crackers...we want to see an animal as or included in your main image.

For my card I have used a Lili of the Valley image called James the Bear - Deck th Halls which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...

Tinsel - G28/G29
Star - Y21
Gift - YG01/YG03/R37/R39
The papers are all Making Memories Mistletoe which I have layered with some red cardstock. I have kept the embellishments to an all time minimum by just adding a couple of trees cut from the paper and also a Craftwork Cards circle sentiment.

Lili of the Valley Challenge - Aqua, White & Glitter...

This week over on the Lili of the Valley Challenge Blog we have another colour combo for you...Aqua, White with the added option of glitter!

For my card  I have used an image called Party Pup and I have coloured him with Copics using the following colours...BG53/C0/C1/C2/C3/YR00
The papers are all Magnolia ones...well scraps of papers from previous years, and I have layered with the some Bazzill off white cardstock (cannot remember the colour), I have added some PaperCellar Raffia ribbon, a couple of heart pins, some seam binding, pearl bling and an ancient sentiment from Craftwork Cards.

Lili of the Valley Challenge - Thank You!

This week over on the Lili of the Valley Challenge Blog our theme is "Thank You". Now I know this is a little early as school isn't even back yet...or a little late as they are already on holiday....but it doesn't hurt to be prepared...

For my card I have used Back to School Girl....isn't she adorable. I have coloured her with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E53
Clothing - R37/R39/E37/E39/E40/B39
The papers are all October Afternoon School House and I have added some Bazzill cardstock to the base. The sentiments are Craftwork Cards and Create with TLC....and I have finished off with some American Craft satin ribbon, pearl bling and a couple of heart pins (the navy ones is a white one coloured with a Sharpie pen).

The Lili of the Valley Challenge Blog DT are taking a little break, so this challenge will be live until August 31st...giving you all plenty of time to take part.

Christmas in July!

So here is my Card and info on how I made it...
I used an image called Under the Mistletoe which I have coloured with Copics. The papers are all Fancy Pants Hot Chocolate which I have layered with some Bazzill bling cardstock, I have added some gorgeous Wild Orchid Craft flowers, and a bell charm. The sentiment is a really old Craftwork Cards one that I found in a sale box at Ally Pally last year.

Lili of the Valley Challenge - Fun & Games!

This week over on the Lili of the Valley Challenge Blog our theme is Fun & Games. For my card I have used one of the new Christmas Images being released on Monday 25th July. She is called Christmas Dance and I have coloured her with Copics using the following colours...

Clothing - BG000/BG01/R81/Y32
The papers are all by Magnolia from the last two Christmas releases, and I have layered them with some blue cardstock from my stash. I have added a doily cut with my Cheery Lynn English Tea Party Die, some pins from my stash, some AC satin ribbon, flowers and a Craftwork Cards circle sentiment. For the snow I have added some white Flower Soft and to the fur trim I have added some DecoArt Glamour Dust.

Lili of the Valley Challenge - Sketch by Donalda!

This week over on the Lili of the Valley Challenge Blog we have a sketch for you by Donalda. 

For my card I have used Little Lorry Bear which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...

The papers are all October Afternoon Road Map which I have layered with some black cardstock. I cut the balloons with a CC Designs die and added some twine to them, I finished off with a Craftwork Cards sentiment.

Lili of the Valley Challenge - Celebrate!

This week over on the Lili of the Valley Challenge Blog our theme is Celebrate. We want to see your  Weddings, Birth, Birthdays even just celebrating the everyday cards, so get your thinking caps on.

For my card I have used  the Cheers Bear stamp which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...

Drink - YR23/YR24
The papers are all Memory Box Valise which I have layered with some Bazzill Kraft cardstock. I have used my nestabilities to cut the star and image, and added a Jenni Bowlin mini bingo card,  cut a couple of the tickets from a sheet of the paper, added an "18" using AC foam Thickers, and "Today" using Making Memories Tiny Alpha's and finally added an embroidered beer mug to finish off.

Lili of the Valley - Anything Goes & Girl Time!

Last month was Boy Month, and this month is Girl Month....and being released on June 14th are 16 gorgeous new girly images for you to add to your growing LOTV stamp collection...and they are all so cute it will be hard to choose...

Anyway this card was made for the Lili of the Valley Challenge this week which happens to be an "Anything Goes" week. The image is called Just for You and I have coloured her with Copics using the following colours...

Hair - E18/E19
Clothing - B000/B01/B02/R21/R22
Flowers & Butterfly - G12/Y21/Y38
The papers are all some really old WRMK that I got cheap in TKMaxx the other week, and I have layered them with some Bazzill Kraft cardstock. The ribbon was some that I got just after Easter in a sale at Dobbies, and I have added pins and some cardstock sticker flowers also by WRMK. The sentiment is one from Create with TLC and a few Making Memories mini alpha stickers.

Lili of the Valley News!!!!


Good morning all you LOTV lovers, I have news of 2 exciting happenings at Lili of the Valley this week, first as from MIDNIGHT TONIGHT there will be 10% off all purchases from the Lili of the Valley Website. What a great time to get those stamps you have been looking at and wanting....go fill your baskets!

Lili of the Valley meets Cute Card Thursday!

A little bit of combining from me this week....here is my card for the Lili of the Valley Challenge - Punch It!, and also for the Cute Card Thursday Challenge - Embellish It!

I have used one of the new images from Lili of the Valley called Cheers Bear which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Bear - E30/E31/E33/R01
Clothing - R27/R27/YR23
Drink - YR23/YR24
Parcel - BG10/BG11/BG13/R27/R29/E50/E51
The papers are all My Minds Eye Alphabet Soup Boy which I have layered with some Bazzill Kraft cardstock I have used a Nestabilites to make the large star and an SU punch for the smaller star. I have also added Glossy Accents to the glass to make it shine like glass, and finished off with  a sentiment by Create with TLC.
