Cute Card Thursday - Midnight Margaritas!

This week over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog our theme is Midnight Margaritas, we want to see your cards with a drinks theme. It can be like mine....very cocktail or more of a cup of tea....the choice is yours.

For my card I have used October Afternoon "Cherry Hill" papers layered with Bazzill & DCWV Cardstock. The stamps are by Stampin' Up and have been coloured with Copics using the following colours...
left-right
First Cocktail - C1/R11/R12/R20/R35/R37/R46/G07/YG06
Second Cocktail - C1/E50/E51/E33/YG95
Third Coctail - C1/YG00/YG03/YG06/R35/R37/R46/R11/R12/R20
I have also added some ribbon from my stash (think it is American Crafts) and a Stampin' Up sentiment that was punched with the Designer Label punch from SU, finally I finished off with some pink pearl bling.

A Squiggle Creation....

Here is a card I made using the new stamps available from Squiggle Stamps...HERE. This little guy is called "Hey Dude!" and i have coloured his with Copics using the following colours...

Skateboard - G02/Y38/C5/C7
Top - R27/Y38
The colours I used are ones in this weeks challenge on the Copic Colour Challenge Blog this week. I have also used the sketch over on A Spoon Full of Sugar provided by Caryn. The papers are all Scenic Route "Grafton" and I have added a couple of buttons from my stash held on with some Ikea string and green staples. Finally I have added a Craftwork Cards sentiment that says "Special Nephew" as my Nephew's birthday is next month.

Don't you just love Friday mornings...the weekend is sooo close... We have another busy weekend as Georgia has swimming tomorrow morning and we have a visitor after lunch, and then on Sunday it is the official opening of the MK Springers Gymnastics Clubs new premises....the Mayor will be there...

A Squiggle Card...

Here is another card I made for Squiggle Stamps. I have used the cute Monster Boy, and he has been coloured with my Copics using the following colours

Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - YR23
Costume - YG63/YG67
Balloon - R27
Ground - E08

This card has been combined with a three challenges....I used the sketch over on Sketch Saturday, the theme "Distressing" on A Spoon Full of Sugar, and the colours on Copic Colour Challenge to use YR23, E07 & YG97 (well the colours I had that matched and then the closest I had). The papers are all Basic Grey "Archaic", and I also added a button from my stash and some string that I got from Ikea (which I also distressed with some chalk ink.

I also decorated the inside, as you can see below...

I have used scraps of the same papers, and also my nestabilities to cut a shape for writing a message....topped off by another Squiggle Stamp...one of the monsters from the Monster Mash set.

Squiggle Stamps

I was so chuffed to join the Squiggle Stamps design team, and the moment my first DT package arrived I was smiling. The stamps are just so cute and adorable. In between getting ready to go on holiday I managed to make one card with the Fairy Wishes stamp. She has been coloured with my Copics using the following colours...

I have to dash off now as we are just about to have some brekkie, and then we are going crabbing as the tide is coming in.....and shock horror the rain has stopped (for now) and the sun is currently out...although I believe not for long...LOL

Friday Sketchers #65 & Copic Colour Challenge #26

This week over on Friday Sketchers, Beatrix of Germany has provided the sketch. For my card I have used one of my new CC Designs stamps coloured using Copics...I have used the colours in this weeks challenge over on Copic Colour Challenge, R59 Cardinal, BG09 Blue Green & G99 Olive. The papers are October Afternoon "Detours" and I have layered them with Bazzill & DCWV cardstock. For the flowers I cut them from the paper and added a gem to their centres, and the leaves are made with my Woodware punch. I have finished off by adding a couple of buttons from my stash and a sentiment by Craftwork Cards.

I am still busy today in my Craft Room trying to get it sorted....It will take me while to get it completely done as I need to be more ruthless about what I want to keep.....so keep watching for some giveaways....
