Tiddly Inks Challenge - Treat Bags/Boxes...
This week over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog our theme is treat bags/boxes. We want to see your treat bags or boxes...or even a card that features a treat.
For my card I have used the Candy Avenger image which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Eyes - B21
Hair - E53/E50
Clothing - R37/R46/R59/BV08/V09
Pumpkin - YR07/YR68/E31/E47/R37
The papers are all from a Daisy & Dandelion paper pad that I gpt last year in The Range. The cobweb paper is also by Tiddly Inks, and was a freebie given to members of the PCP group. The sentiment ticket is a digi by Whimsy Stamps created by Ann Vento of Raindrop Echo Designs. I created the treat cup using some Tim Holtz packaging, I got some of the film strip acetate ribbon stuff and kept the packaging as it reminded me of an SU treat cup that I had seen in the US catalogue (now available in the UK). I had some halloween eyeball sweets so added that to the cup. I made my own closure system on the inside with a larger circle and a couple of brads. I finished off with a couple of chocolate embellishments and some bats punched with my Martha Stewart punch.Come on over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and join in the fun.

Scrap Online with Marlene

Marlene was hosting the Scrap Online over on Tiets Club this week...unfortunately everything is in Dutch, so Marlene has kindly posted all the details over on her blog....thanks Hun.
So every five minutes we were given another stage to complete...unless you were like me and got behind because you were too busy (I was preparing the post for todays challenge over on Cute Card Thursday...so I think I can be forgiven). In the end I had all the pieces cut and the image coloured and matted...but nothing else, so when I saw Marlene's stunning card....I just copied the sticking by eye and didn't need to measure anymore....LOL. I even added a couple of things like she did...I was such a copy cat.
For my card I used a Magnolia stamp from the "So Spooky" collection which I coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - YG00/YG03/YG06
Hair - C1/C3/C5/C7/C9
Hat - C7/C9/V17
Dress - C7/C9/V17
Boots - C5/C7
Broom - E49/E57
The papers are all by Magnolia, also from the "So Spooky" collection and I have layered them with Bazzill Bling cardstock and also Doodlebug sugar coated cardstock. I have also used one of my Stampin' Up punches, my Martha Stewart "Bat" punch to cut from bats from the sugar coated cardstock and finally I added a touch of black bling to finish the card off. Finally I added a sentiment with some 7Gypsies rubons.
A huge thanks to Marlene for taking the time to prepare the details for us all...and for making such a fabby card for us to copy...Thanks Hun x
Be sure to pop over to Marlene's blog to take a look...This card also qualifies for the theme of "Halloween" over on Papertake Weekly....so I am entering it there too.
