A Spoon Full of Sugar - Bookmark This!

This week over on the A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge Blog the theme is "Bookmark This!", the DT want you to make a bookmark. Well this fit perfectly with an image Georgia wanted me to colour one of the Newton's Law images that I downloaded. I have coloured the image with Copics using the following colours...
Newton - E30/E31/R37/E47
Firework - Y38/C5/C7/C9
I have used some scraps of Basic Grey "Sugar Rush" and a bit of Bazzill cardstock. I have also added some Stickles around the image. I have added a thread with a teddy charm on the end to hang over the spine of the book.

I am sure Georgia will love it...she loves all things "Newton"....well it's off to work for me now!

Friday Sketchers #94

Here is a card I made with this weeks sketch over on Friday Sketchers. The image is one of those colouring pages found HERE on the Newton's Law website (My daughters favourite bear), I have then saved the PDF as a JPeg and printed four of the on a page....makes them about stamp size. I have coloured the image with my Copics using the following colours...
Newton Near - E30/E31/YR23/R29
Baguette - E50/E51/E53/YG05/Y17/R29
The papers are all My Minds Eye "Lush" available HERE from Dies to Die For. I have added some lace available HERE from Wild Orchid Crafts and a couple of heart pins available HERE from Creative Treasures, and finished off with a sentiment by Craftwork Cards.

Be sure to hop on over to the Friday Sketchers blog and check out the sketch and DT cards.

Well....today is the big day and at 11.50PM tonight I am officially 40...I know 40 is the new 30...LOL...and 50 is the new 40...to be honest it's just a number and although we are not rich in money as a family we are rich in love....and I will take love over money any day. This evening we are going out as a family for dinner, and then early tomorrow morning Georgia has a gymnastics competition...although she is very nervous again, and says that she doesn't want to take part...so we are telling her we are just going to watch and then her coach will persuade her. And now we are going to take Georgia to her swimming lesson....I lead a very exciting life....can't you tell!
