SJ's Little Musings - Basket of Chicks!

This week over on SJ's Little Musings she has a "Basket of Chicks" available to buy. For just £1.50 you get 16 images, 8 coloured and 8 un-coloured...bargain.

For my card I have used one of the pre-coloured images...I just thought this sleepy bunny was so cute. The papers are all from the new Prima Marketing pad, Celebrate available HERE. I have layered them with some pale yellow (lemony) Bazzill cardstock, added a sentiment I made on the PC cut with labels Nestabilities and added some pearl bling and yellow satin ribbon tied in a lovely bow.

Cute Card Thursday - So Egg-citing!

This week over on the Cute Card Thursday challenge blog our theme is "So Egg-citing!", we want to see your Easter cards, or your cards and projects featuring egg/oval shapes. We are sponsored this week by Tracy at Creative Treasures....she has donated one of her monthly bloom kits to one lucky winner as chosen by random.org.

For my card I have used one of the new Magnolia stamps and she has been coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E50/E51/E53
Clothing - YG00/YG01/YG03/Y21/R27
Chick/Egg - Y21/R26
The papers are all Cosmo Cricket "Garden Variety" that I have layered with some Bazzill Bling cardstock. I have embellished with some gorgeous Daffodils from Wild Orchid Crafts, some bling from my stash and a CC Designs sentiment layered up with a Stampin' Up Designer Label punch.

Anyone for Anya? - Eggstra Special!

This week on the Anyone for Anya? challenge blog our theme is "Eggstra Special". We want to see your Easter cards. We are sponsored this week by Tracy @ Dies to Die For, and are joined by Guest DT's Donalda & Yvonne.

For my card I have used Easter Anya and she has been coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E50/E51/E53
Bunny Ears - C0/C1/C2/R20
Clothing - R81/R83/R85/BG11/BG13
Basket - E37/YG03/BG13/R85
The papers are all My Minds Eye Quite Contrary "Mary Mary" available HERE from Dies to Die For. I have embellished with some Fancy Pants decorative pins, Doodlebug egg shaped buttons and some bling and ribbon from my stash. The butterflies have been punched using my Martha Stewart "Stamp & Punch" set and I created the shaped image using my Martha Stewart "Flourish" border punch. The sentiment is by CC Designs and it came in the Spring kit, I have used my Stampin' Up circle punch and designer label punch to make the shapes.

I have scheduled this post as I am out tomorrow at Georgia's Gym competition...as I type the time is 23:52...I am officially FORTY...OMG!!!

Squiggle Stamps March prize Challenge

Here we go again - another fun Squiggle Challenge!

This month's challenge is brought to you be ME, and I have chosen a theme of
{SPRING}

Soooo - all you have to do is create a project with a {SPRING} theme and incorporate a Squiggle Stamp

This can be either a digital image or a rubber stamped image - prices start at just 99p so do have a peek in the shop!

You can incorporate any other challenges - only other rule is to have FUN!

Two for One!!

For this card I have combined the theme over on Daring Cardmakers with the sketch over on Friday Sketchers. The main image of this card is one of the new Easter hAnglar & stAnglar stamps, she has been coloured with Distress Inks using the following colours...
Tattered Rose (Skin)
Walnut Stain (Hair & Shoes)
Peeled Paint (Headscarf & Apron)
Worn Lipstick (Dress & Blush)
Frayed Burlap (Jacket)
Tea Dye (Basket)
Antique Linen/Worn Lipstick (Chicken)
The papers are all Prima Marketing IOD "Coquette" and I have added some Anita's ribbon some lace from my stash and a large Prima "Belle Fleur" blossom. The final touch is a Stampin' Up sentiment punch out with a tag punch. I have also added some Sakura clear glitter gel pen to her hair and clothing.

Thanks to the two DT's for their inspiration this week....I have really needed it...mojo has been flaging this week.

Today I am off to see the family, and I have a pressie from my L'il Sis to open.....I likey pressies...LO...and Roast Lamb for dinner.....yum yum!

A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge #44 Easter

This week over on A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge Blog the theme is Easter. For my card I have combined the theme with a sketch based on Marlene's card made as part of Tiets ScrapOnline. The main image is a Magnolia Easter collection stamp, and I have coloured her with Distress Inks using the following colours...
Tattered Rose (Skin)
Brushed Corduroy/Tea Dye (Hair)
Dusty Concord/Spiced Marmalade (Dress)
Dusty Concord (Shoes)
Black Soot/Worn Lipstick (Bunny)
Spiced Marmalade (Hat)
Dusty Concord/Peeled Paint (Flowers on Hat)
Tea Dye (Basket)
Spiced Marmalade/Peeled Paint (Flowers in Basket)
The papers are all by DCWV "Sweet" range and the cardstock is Coredinations, I have added a couple of Prima Painterly Petals held by a spacer and a Doodlebug Sugar Coated brad, and also some bling from my stash. To finish it off I have added a sentiment by Stampin' Up.

The layout of this card has been lifted from a card Marlene made while take part in th ScrapOnline that Tiets holds on her forum....so thanks to both Tiets and Marlene.

Papertake Weekly Challenge "Dawny's Sketch"

This week over on Papertake Weekly Challenge Blog there is another lovely sketch by Dawny. For my card I have used one of the new Easter 2009 Coillection by Magnolia. Tilda has been coloured with Distress Inks using the following colours...
Tattered Rose (Skin)
Walnut Stain (Hair)
Fired Brick/Mustard Seed/Peeled Paint (Hat)
Fired Brick/Weathered Wood (Dress)
Weathered Wood (Shoes)
Tea Dye/Mustard Seed (Basket of Flowers)
Walnut Stain/Worn Lipstick (Bunny)
I have also added Sakura clear glitter gel pen to the hair and flowers in the basket. The papers are from a My Minds Eye "Life's Laundry" glitter stack that came from The Range. I have also used three colours of Coredinations cardstock. The flowers are all by Prima and I have attached them with a brad and spacer, and finally I have added some American Crafts Ribbon and a red heart pin with a Stampin' Up sentiment punched as a tag.

My first DT card for Dreams2Stamp

Thursday saw the arrival of my first set of DT stamps for http://www.dreams2stamp.de/ and I just had to ink up this cutie to make an Easter Card.
The Bunny stamp has been coloured with Distress Inks using the following colours...
Mustard Seed/Spiced Marmalade/Peeled Paint (Daffodils)
Black Soot (Bunny)
Tea Dye (Plant Pot)
Spiced Marmalade/Worn Lipstick (Flowers)
Weathered Wood (Shadow)
The papers are all DCWV, with some Coredinations cardstock. The other items used on my card are Prima Blossoms held together with a brad and spacer, and also a dragonfly charm. The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up set, and the ribbon and lace are from my stash (I think both were from October ScrapaGoGo Kit).

Below is a picture of the decoated inside....I have sent a picture to Stefany at Dream2Stamp, and I really hope she likes it.
