Some Odd Girl - Colour Combo!

Over on the Some Odd Girl Blog our current challenge (and final assignment for the current DT) is a colour one...

So here is the card I made...

I have used Heartsy Mae (I think she may be one of my all time SOG faves) which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/E13/R20
Eyes - B21/B23/B66
Hair - E15/E17/E18/E19
Clothing - BG10/BG11/BG13/R37/R39
The papers are all October Afternoon Road Map which I have layered with some red shimmer cardstock. The sentiment is by Stampendous called Cling Hugs & Laughs and I have added some hearts from the same cardstock punched with my SU punch attached with some Bakers Twine and some red bling. The sentiment was punched using my Nestabilities labels one die (an oldie but a fave!).

I cannot beleive it has been a whole YEAR since I joined the Some Odd Girl DT, and now it is the end (sob sob). During that time I have had the pleasure of working alongside some awesome ladies, with some amazing images....it has been the best, and long will I love my SOG images....so still expect to see me using them.

Some Odd Girl - Bling Me!

It's time for the first challenge of 2012 over on the Some Odd Girl blog, and...It’s a BLING ME Challenge! That’s right.  BLING.  You know you love it.  We certainly love it.  We want to see a lot of bling and at least 2 types. Option include but are not limited to: pearls, rhinestones, stickles, loose glitter, foil, embossed foil, misting, glaze. The list goes on!

For my card I have used Love Letter Kaylee which I coloured with Copics using the following colours...

Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20

Hair - 100/C3

Clothing - R37/R39/C0/C1/C2/C3/C5/C7

The papers are all Fancy Pants Love Story which I have layered with some black and red shimmer cardstock. I have added a couple of heart pins a bow. For the bling element of my card I have used a Heidi Swapp bling heart, and some bling in the corner and also some Stickles glitter glue in Star Dust. I used a sheet of the paper from the pad to create the little letters and also a Nestabilities Postage Stamp die.

Some Odd Girl Challenge - Photo Inspiration Challenge!

This week over on the Some Odd Girl Blog our challenge is a photo inspiration...

For my card I have used one of the new clear stamps, this one is called Electric Love which I coloured with Copics and added some Stickles Diamond Glitter Glue to.  The papers are all My Minds Eye Love Me which I have layered with some Bazzill Kraft cardstock. I have added a Jenni Bowlin Bingo card, some bakers twine and some Making Memories tickets.

Some Odd Girl Challenge - Easel Card!

Gosh I am so late posting this card up....Have had a lot of family stuff going on, so my blog has felt somewhat neglected....

Here is the card I made for our challenge over on the Some Odd Girl Blog....our challenge is Easel Cards. I decided in my usual fashion to turn mine into an Easel Card Calendar. I used Roller Mae which I have coloured with Copics. The papers are all My Minds Eye Kraft Funday - Happy Days, which I layered with some Bazzill Kraft cardstock. I have embellished with some Doodlebug stitched ribbon in swimming pool, a couple of red heart pins a button with string tied through it and a couple of Create with TLC sentiments and a DoCrafts Calendar.

Some Odd Girl - Black & White Image!

This week over on the Some Odd Girl Challenge Blog we want to see your colour your main image in black and white...the rest of the cards can be as colourful as you like....just the main image should be coloured black and white.

For my card I have used Angel Kaylee and coloured her with Copics using the following colours...C0/C1/C2/C3/C5/C7/C9

The papers are all Melissa Frances 5th Avenue which I have layered with some grey Bazzill cardstock. I have added some SU Basic Gray Taffeta ribbon, Paper Cellar Raffia, a few pins, some Tim Holtz ribbon flowers cut up, a Craftwork Cards circle sentiment and some pearl bling.

I have used my Sizzix Filmstrip die behind the main image, and also some Tim Holtz filmstrip ribbon. The little photos are one of the accessory stamps that come with Photo Kaylee, along with the Smile sentiment.

This week over on the Some Odd Girl Challenge Blog we want you to Make a Scene....that is a card with a scene...not tantrums at your local store...LOL.

Some Odd Girl Challenge - Not Your Typical!

For our challenge over on the Some Odd Girl Blog we want to see "Not Your Typical" card sizes. So for me I usually make cards that are 5.75 x 5.75 inches and this little one is only 3.5 x 3.5 inches with a shaped edge. The papers are all My Minds Eye Alphabet Soup - Girl. I have used a CC Designs die to cut the balloons to which I have added some SU linen thread and a heart button, and my Nestabilities die to cut the layer behind the image. The sentiments are created with some Melissa Frances rub-ons.
