Craftin' with the Kids...
Yesterday my daughter Georgia and I did a spot of crafting together using some of the Squiggle digi images. I love how quick and simple they are to use, and I can print a whole page of images for her to sit and colour...
So here are our cards...
I have used the Home Sweet Home digi image, and what an absolute bargain it is at just 99p and it drops straight into your inbox ready to be printed...no waiting for the pesky postman. I have made a key shaped card using a leaflet I received at the NEC craft show last month as a template to draw around. So that it would stand up I have attached it to an acetate card. I have coloured the house with my Copics using the following colours...House - BG10/BG72/R17/YG03/E51/E47
The papers are all Crate Paper "Season" collection and I have used a rainbow and cloud stickers from the same range. I have added a sentiment by Craftwork Cards, and the rest of the sentiment has been done using my ATB tape writer. Apart from that all I added was a heart pin, a red dotted ribbon bow and the keyring bit is my Making Memories (been floating around my stash for a couple of years).
Georgia
Georgia has used the Fairy Gifts digi which we have printed out quite large. We used windows to print and printed 4 images on a sheet of A4...so she is approx A6 in size. Georgia has coloured with her Promarkers and added bling to fairy's crown....a girl needs to sparkle you know! She also made the flowers herself with a die I bought at the Ally Pally show this past weekend from Little Claire Designs. Basically it is like you are making a quilling flower but the edges are a little ruffled with makes the roses look so much more interesting.Don't forget the April competition to be in with a chance of winning all those yummy goodies you just need to make a card with the sketch featuring a Squiggle image...details are HERE.
Well I am off now, got to make the most of the glorious sunshine...

Squiggle Creation...
Here is a card I made using this weeks sketch over on Friday Sketchers. I have used one of the Squiggle Stamps and coloured her with Copics using the following colours...Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E50/E51/E53
Clothing - R05/YG25/E47
Flowers - R05/YG25
The papers are all MME "Wild Asparagus" and I have layered them with some Bazzill cardstock. I have embellished with some Card Candy that I got in my DT pack from Creative Treasures. I have also used a sentiment by Craftwork Cards, some bling from my stash, and some flowers by Wild Orchid Crafts.
Be sure to pop over to Friday Sketchers and check out the DT's gorgeous cards.

Lili of the Valley - Thank You!
The image is by Lili of the Valley and is called "Teddy with Bouquet". I have coloured him with Copics using the following colours...Bear - E30/E31/E33/E35
Bouquet - BG10/BG11/BG13/R02/R04
The papers are DCWV "Doodlin' Around" and I have just embellished with a couple of Craftwork Cards sentiments, some pearl bling from my stash, and a calendar by Anita's.
People are always telling me that they hate to put away the cards that I have made them...so by adding a calendar I have made the card functional for the whole year...
Here is an image from the side showing that it is decorated inside and out...and even on the bottom.
Be sure to pop over to see what the rest of the DT have come up with. Today I also received the new Spring images, so keep popping back here as I will have some sneak peeks to show you....they are so cute, you will be unable to resist them...Be sure to pop back later to see my card for this weeks challenge on Cute Card Thursday.

Crafty Angels Weekly Challenge - Week 12 Give Thanks!
This week over on the Crafty Angels Weekly Challenge Blog our theme has been chosen by Kate. Kate wanted us to make a card giving thanks (well it has just been Thanksgiving in the USA). For my card I have used one of the Xmas Magnolia stamps (not that you can tell). I have coloured her with Copics using the following colours...Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E43/E47/E49
Clothes - R22/B00/B05
Wings - R20/R21
I have used Cordinations cardstock and papers by American Crafts...both available from Crafty Angels store. I also used my Nestabilities label one die and my Stampin' Up Notepad punch. The little butterflies are the bits that are punched out with my new Martha Stewart butterfly border punch. Finally I finished off with some bling and lace from my stash and a sentiment by Craftwork Cards (I love them...can you tell!).
For the card I also used the fab sketch over on Friday Sketchers, and I pleased with the results...it was so nice to make a card that wasn't a christmas card...LOL.

Daring Cardmakers "Scraplings"
This week over on Daring Cardmakers the theme is "Scraplings"....the cards you make with left over cardstock. These cards are 2.5 x 5.5 inches...the leftover bit from my A4 cardstock when I make a 5.75 x 5.75 inch card. I have also used scraps from one of my DT kits from Crafty Angels.I kept the Thank You cards pretty simple just cardstock, papers. ribbon and bling. The stamp and punch are by Stampin' Up (US set) and the butterfly was cut with my Papermania Dimensional Butterfly punch.
With Christmas fast appoaching it is nice to send Thank You cards after, particularly when the kids write them themselves.

Challenge Combo...
This morning I decided that I wanted to make a card without any colouring, and I had my fab new Stampin' Up Butterfly punch and stamps to use. I am entering it into a couple of challenges... Papertake Weekly's theme is"Spots 'n' Stripes", and Daring Cardmakers' theme is "Get Punchy with it".So for my card I have used papers by Sassfras Lass Serendipity "Sunshine Lollipop" that are layered with Stampin' Up "Bashful Blue" cardstock. The stamps are also Stampin' Up as is the punch (as I mentioned before). To finish off I added some gems from my stash.
Now it was lovely to make a card that was quick (no colouring), but my heart lifts with joy when I colour....I am just a nig kid at heart...LOL

Cute Card Thursday Challenge 68 "Thank You Miss!"
I have used one of my new Popcorn the Bear stamps available from Crafters Companion, and I have coloured the image with my Copics. The sentiment is also part of the set....such good value too...I got four sets for £18.95.....fab or what. Anyway the papers are all WRMK "Nonsense" and I also added a Heidi Swapp blossom folded into quarters and added to the corner of the main image.
I had such fun on the school trip yesterday...although I came home tired and desperate for coffee....LOL I took over 200 photos and now have the fun task of processing them all. Tomorrow I am back at the school in the afternoon to take photos of the Year 2 students, who are leaving next week, with their teacher and teaching assistant. Each year the teacher gives a copy of the photo in a frame to each child...which I think is a lovely idea. What the teacher doesn't know is that I have made an album for her, and inside will be a copy of each photo and a note from each child, for her to keep....I just hope she likes it.
