Cute Card Thursday - Planes, Trains & Automobiles!

This week over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog our theme is Planes, Trains & Automobiles. For my card I have used all elements from the PaperMania Portobello Road collection.

Did I tell you this is one of the favourite paper collections....I love all the Cool Britannia stuff around at the moment for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and of course the London 2012 Olympics.

This week I have had little time to craft as on Friday I was a Towcester Racecourse, Saturday I was down in London visiting the family and Sunday I took Georgia to Towcester Swimming Pool for the Flume & Wave session....which she loved.

This weekend is equally as busy as I have a family wedding on Satuday and on Sunday I am back down in London visiting the family and collecting my niece Hannah who is coming to stay for the school holidays. Hopefully as both girls like to craft...I should get a chance to play next week....Georgia wants to Smash* in her new Red Smash* Book.

My Momiji Mini Smash* Book

Just a quick warning.....this is a photo heavy post.....

So I decided to make a Mini Smash* Book for my Momiji Collection as they just looked so cute in their new display case. I have included a photo of each doll with the exception of Bonnie (she only just arrived and I need to take her photo)...but her page is all made waiting a photo. I have included stickers that I bought in the store where the majority of my collection was purchased...plus some of the packaging from the dolls.

I have 26 dolls at the moment, and the book has room for another 13 or 14....so room if I want to add to my collection. The size of the Mini Smash* Book worked perfectly with the dolls as I only wanted to include their name, likes and production dates...all the info listed about them on the www.lovemomiji.com website.

I have been Smash*ing in my regular Orange Smash* Book so will show those pages in the next couple of days....but tomorrow I will be back with a card...

We are up early for a Sunday morning as Georgia has another Gymnastics Competition....her and three other girls are entered in the team event competing on Floor, Vault, Bars & Beam. This is her first competition on the Bars & Beam so she is a little nervous, but as they have only been in training on those two pieces of equipment since late March I think they are doing well...and whatever the outcome I will be proud of her overcoming her fear of the Bars...Good Luck Georgia.

Dies to Die For - Sassy Emma!

Hello, so sorry I have not been here for the last few days but I am back this morning to share some of my weekends crafty endeavours...I stupidly decided to have a crafty sort out a couple of weeks ago....and it is still a work in progress for a self confessed hoarder!!!

On to the same piece of cardstock that I stamped the main image on, I have added an Inkadinkado sentiment called Don't Grow Old using Versafine Oynx Black Ink. The papers are all My Minds Eye On the Bright Side - One which I have layered with some red cardstock (not sure who it is by...but you can find red cardstock HERE). I have embellished with a little bling, a little string and a flower made with the Die-namics Loopy Bloom die, and a scrap of denim from an old pair of my daughters jeans. I works just as well...if not better when used to cut felt (of which Tracy has a selection HERE).

It's that time again...time for a new Saturated Canary Challenge...and this time the theme is May Flowers.

For my card I have used an image called Queenie and Princess, Krista has closed down her Etsy store as she has a wonderful new website opening very very soon...and I am pretty confident this cute image will be back in stock then. I have coloured it with Copics using the following colours...

The papers are all LilyBee Designs Victoria Park which I have layered with some Bazzill Smoothie cardstock. I created the flower with the Die-namics Loopy Bloom die using a piece of felt (the colour is actually more pink than it seems in the picture...more like the papers). I added a little black tulle around the card and added a sentiment stamp by WRMK.
