So, it's been almost a year since I posted anything here, and 7 months since I was last in my craft room making anything...(that shocked me)...but I am pleased to say that I dusted off my supplies and made a card for this weeks CCT Challenge of Buttons & Bows...
So it contains no colouring...still need to get back to that...but it does contain a lot of buttons..Here's what I used...
Ingredients
Black Bazzill cardstock
AC Amy Tangerine "Stitched" paper
Assorted Buttons
Doodlebug Grosgrain ribbon
Lawn Fawn stamps "Awesome"
Craftwork Cards sentiment
I am planning on making at least a card a week....let's see how long I can keep that up.

Cute Card Thursday - Tic Toc!
This week over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog our theme is Tic Toc!. We want to see your cards/projects that have been inspired by a clock/time theme.
For my card I have used the Titanic image by Pixie Dust Studio, which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...

Hair (Her) - E18/E19
Hair (Him) - E53/E50
Clothing (Her) - R37/R46/R59/W3/W5

The background paper is by 7Gypsies Paddington collection which I have layered with some Doodlebug Sugar Coated cardstock in Beetle Black. Again I have used the same layout and clock that I found on Google. The {Together} rub on is by Melissa Frances and the clock hands were made with a Sizzlet die. Finally I have added gems to each number on the clock and also on the hands.
Be sure to check out the rest of the DT's creations and join in with our challenge.

Anyone for Anya? - Get in Shape!
This week over on the Anyone for Anya? blog our theme is "Get in Shape". Now I am a complete numpty and thought we had to make a shaped card...when it was actually a 3-2-1 recipe challenge using shapes. So basically we want to see 3 different shapes on your card but 3 of 1 shape, 2 of another and 1 of a yet another. You can count your base card as 1 shape if you want to, and you can use whatever shapes you want.So my card kind of can meet the challenge...purely by chance...
I used three triangles of cardstock, two images, and it made one pyramid (card).......can I be forgiven LOL.
The images on this card are The Greeting Farm digi stamps called Dressy Edward & Dressy Joyce, they have both been coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E50/E51/E53
Clothes - Joyce - BG10/BG11/BG13/R29
Clothes - Edward - E44/E47/E49/R29
The papers are all Cosmo Cricket "Early Bird" and the cardstock is Coredinations. I have added some sentiments with Inkadinkado quote stamp, and Craftwork Cards sentiments. The embellishments are pretty minimal on this one, with just a red spotted bow from Craft Fairy, A red heart pin and some Doodlebug ribbon.
I have included some extra pics...

Be sure to pop over to the Anyone for Anya? blog and check out the fab cards of the DT...who actually followed the challenge properly...

Anyone for Anya? - Something Completely Different!
This week on the Anyone for Anya? Challenge Blog we want you to do something completely different, whether that is a technique you have never tried, new stamps, a new template it's your choice. We are also sponsored again this week by Tracy at Dies to Die For...the place I get all my TGF images from. For my card I have used one of the new Cheeky Cherry range, her name is "Cheeky Rockabilly", I thought she needed something a little cheeky so I found a template online for a corset and cut it out, traced around it and added some lace trim and a ribbon. I coloured her with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - C0/C1/C2/C3/C5/C7/C9
Clothing - R35/R37
The paper I used in the background is by Stampin' Up, the corset is cut from a piece of Little Yellow Bicycle "Love Notes" flocked damask. I also added some ribbon bows and marabou feather from Craft Fairy, some black Bazzill Tulle, a sentiment by Craftwork Cards, and some heart pins that you can now get from Wild Orchid Crafts. The "I Love You" was a stamp in a set by KaiserCrafts and I have coloured in some bits with the red that I used in the image, and used my SU punch to make the shape, finally I added some bling to finish off.
Be sure to pop over and check out what the rest of the DT came up with.

Crafty Angels Weekly Challenge - Buttons!
This week over on the Crafty Angels Weekly Challenge Blog it was Kate's turn to set our challenge...and she chose "Buttons". She wants to see our cards featuring buttons. For my card I have used some DCWV "La Creme" papers. I used my Martha Stewart "Valentine Lace" punch to create the hearts on the black spotty paper. I have used a random selection of red buttons attached to form a heart. The sentiment is by Technique Tuesday "Loving Words" by Ali Edwards.
It's a little different from me, but with David away all weekend, my craft time was minimal....I even had to cook! Good news is that he is on his way home from Chester and fingers crossed will be home by lunchtime...ish!
Be sure to check out the Crafty Angels Weekly Challenge Blog, both Sandie & Kate have made some beautiful cards.

Ismaki Challenge #005 of 2009
This week over on the Ismaki Blog, Isa has provided us with a fab sketch. For my card I have used 2 hAnglar & stAnglar images and also a couple of Magnolia's too. I have coloured all the images with Distress Inks using the following colours...Tattered Rose (Skin)
Walnut Stain (Hair)
Fired Brick & Black Soot (All clothing, "Be Mine" & Heart Notepad)
I first coloured the notepad image which is from the new Magnolia Love Collection, and I then stamped it again and cut around it to make a template for the other images. The papers are Basic Grey "Ambrosia", KI Memories "School Days", My Minds Eye "Confetti". Then I added the circle in bling from my stash and placed the "Be Mine", also from the Magnolia Love Collections, inside the bling circle. It is such a simple sketch, but I really love it....think I will certainly be using it again.
Pop on over and check it out.....there is even a prize again this week.

Ismaki Challenge #001 of 2009
So here is the card I made with the image I coloured on Sunday @ Marlene's. I had started to make a card with the image, but when I saw the sketch on Ismaki it just seemed to work for me.The main image is two hAnglar & stAnglar images (masked) coloured with Distress Inks using the following colours (If I can remember them...LOL)
Tattered Rose (Skin)
Faded Jeans (Trousers & Waistcoat)
Shabby Shutters (Tie)
Black Soot (Boys Hair)
Peeled Paint & Shabby Shutters (Dress/Shoes/Socks)
Worn Lipstick (Hairbannd/Bloomers)
The only two colours that I can't remember are the boys shoes and the girls hair.....I am sure Marlene would remember. **ETA Frayed Burlap (Boys Shoes) & Vintage Photo (Girls Hair)...Thanks Marlene**
The papers were also from Marlene's stash (she sent me home with them as I coloured the image to match them...LOL) and are Imaginisce "Loves Me", and the only other things I have added are the Making Memories mini alpha stickers, a stamped swirl (Fancy Pants stamped with Versamark and rubbed over with irridescent chalk ink) and finally added bling.
Well it was back to school and work for Georgia and I....felt weird this morning....and not good weird...LOL. But need those pennies to buy new rubba....and help with the bills obviously.....LOL
This weather is making it impossible for me to get warm. It was -4 celsius at 4.30pm when I went out to take Georgia to gymnastics and by the time I got home 30 minutes later it was -5. The road we live on is now solid ice as the snow never cleared before the ice set in. I have phoned the council in the vain hope that they will send someone to grit it even though it is only a residential road.....so fingers crossed they will do something about it. Tonight I am determined to get back into the crafting groove and make something tonight.....the holidays have played havoc with my routine.
Hope you are all staying warm.
Hugs
