Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge - Spooky Mulder!

Here is my ATC for this weeks, the penultimate weeks, challenge over on the Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge Blog. Our theme this week is Spooky Mulder!, this is something my Hubby said whenever we watched the X-Files, particularly the ones towards the end that got more and more weird. I have used six (you better believe it) different Magnolia stamps from the "So Spooky" collection . I stamped all but the background onto shrink plastic and coloured with Copics. To create the background once I stamped it I just inked the cardstock with VersaMagic chalk inks.
Also I have used some Doodlebug sugar coated cardstock punched with my Martha Stewart bat punch. I made this little scene so that it can stand up.

As I mentioned before, this is the last but one ever challenge on Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge Blog, so we would love it if you could come over and join us for the last couple of challenges.

Crafty Angels Weekly Challenge - Week 6 "Black and White"

This week over on the Crafty Angels Weekly Challenge Blog our theme of "Black & White" has been set by Laura, and I have also used the lovely sketch over on Sketch Saturday. For my card I have used a couple of different images firstly Miss Anya from the first set by The Greeting Farm and also the Poodle and sentiment are Imaginisce "Snag 'ems", and they are both available HERE. I have coloured her with Copics using the following colours...

The papers are by DCWV La Creme Stack. I have also used some Karen Foster Sparkle Burst Brads, and some bling and ribbon from my stash. The sentiment is by Craftwork Cards and I have inked it with the same colour that I inked the main image.

Anyone for Anya? - Autumn Colours!

This week over on the Anyone for Anya? Challenge Blog our theme is "Autumn Colours". For my card I have used one of the Anya's from the Rain, Snow & Shine set and she has been coloured with Copics using the following colours...

The papers are Baic Grey Indian Summer and I have layered them with some Bazzill cardstock. I cut around Anya and layered her onto a kraft tag that I got in Paperchase. I have embellished with some paper roses by Wild Orchid Crafts and created some foilage with my Martha Stewart branch punch. Finally I have finished it off with a sentiment by Craftwork Cards, which has been inked with chalk ink.

A Squiggle Creation....

The colours I used are ones in this weeks challenge on the Copic Colour Challenge Blog this week. I have also used the sketch over on A Spoon Full of Sugar provided by Caryn. The papers are all Scenic Route "Grafton" and I have added a couple of buttons from my stash held on with some Ikea string and green staples. Finally I have added a Craftwork Cards sentiment that says "Special Nephew" as my Nephew's birthday is next month.

Don't you just love Friday mornings...the weekend is sooo close... We have another busy weekend as Georgia has swimming tomorrow morning and we have a visitor after lunch, and then on Sunday it is the official opening of the MK Springers Gymnastics Clubs new premises....the Mayor will be there...

Scrap Online with Marlene

Marlene was hosting the Scrap Online over on Tiets Club this week...unfortunately everything is in Dutch, so Marlene has kindly posted all the details over on her blog....thanks Hun.

So every five minutes we were given another stage to complete...unless you were like me and got behind because you were too busy (I was preparing the post for todays challenge over on Cute Card Thursday...so I think I can be forgiven). In the end I had all the pieces cut and the image coloured and matted...but nothing else, so when I saw Marlene's stunning card....I just copied the sticking by eye and didn't need to measure anymore....LOL. I even added a couple of things like she did...I was such a copy cat.

For my card I used a Magnolia stamp from the "So Spooky" collection which I coloured with Copics using the following colours...

The papers are all by Magnolia, also from the "So Spooky" collection and I have layered them with Bazzill Bling cardstock and also Doodlebug sugar coated cardstock. I have also used one of my Stampin' Up punches, my Martha Stewart "Bat" punch to cut from bats from the sugar coated cardstock and finally I added a touch of black bling to finish the card off. Finally I added a sentiment with some 7Gypsies rubons.

Cute Card Thursday - Spook Fest!

This week over on Cute Card Thursday our theme is "Spook Fest!". I decided not to make a card, instead I made a little Halloween treat bag. I have used one of the new Magnolia stamps from the "So Spooky" collection and coloured her with Copics using the following colours...

I have also used another Magnolia stamp from the same collection (the skull & crossbones label). The base is made from a Moxxie Mini Diecut Cardstock that I got from Ally Pally, and I have added a cobweb & spider rubon from Heidi Grace. The bats are cut from Doodlebug sugar coated cardstock using my Martha Stewart punch, and the pumpkin button is also from Doodlebug.

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge - Paper Piecing

This week over on Tilda & Friends our theme is "Paper Piecing". For my ATC I have used one of my Squiggle Stamps and I have paper pieced all but the hair and skin. The papers are Basic Grey "Lemonade". Apart from the all I have added was a Craftwork Cards sentiment and a cloud that I cut myself. I have added a little Sakura clear glitter gel pen to her hair for a little extra sparkle.

There is also a big announcement over on the blog too....after a little over a year we have decided to call it a day. With so many challenge blogs and dwindling participants it just seemed like it had run it's natural course...and as they say....All good things must come to an end. The challenges will run until the end of October, so please pop over and join us in the final few weeks. I would like to thank the DT and all the previous Guest DT for all their amazing work.

The Sugar Bowl - #21 Tiets Sketch

This card has been made using the lovely sketch provided by Tiets over on The Sugar Bowl. For my card I have used one of the Gorjuss Girls from set 2, and she has been coloured with Copics using the following colours...

The papers are by Cosmo Cricket "Jolly by Golly" and I have layered them with some DCWV & Bazzill cardstock. The flowers are all by Prima and are attached using a spacer and brad, and I have added some pearl bling from my stash. I have used my Martha Stewart double dot punch to create the scalloped edge, and added a sentiment by Craftwork Cards.

Crafty Angels Weekly Challenge - Week 5 "Buttons & Bling"

Our challenge this week set by Sandie is to use "Buttons & Bling" on your card or project. For my card I have used a couple of Magnolia Stamps, "Tilda with lolly" and "Tin boxes" and I have coloured them with Copics using the following colours...

The papers were in my DT kit from Crafty Angels and are by Piggy Tales "Mary Mary quite contrary" collection, the sheets I used were "Silver Bells" and "Cockle Shells" and I have layered them with DCWV cardstock that I have sanded the edge of. I have also used some Anita's ribbon that came in my kit and have then added some bling and buttons from my stash, and a Craftwork Cards sentiment that I have layered up on a Stampin' Up punch and raised on 3D foam pads.

Friday Sketchers #73

Here is a card I made using this weeks sketch over on Friday Sketchers. For my card I have used Devil Tilda which I have masked to sit on the skull, both stamps are from the "So Spooky" range by Magnolia. I have coloured the images with Copics using the following colours...

The papers are Basic Grey "Eerie" and I have also used some Doodlebug Sugar Coated cardstock and a piece of random red cardstock. The only other embellishments are some spotted ribbon from my stash, some bats that I created from the sugar coated cardstock using my Martha Stewart punch, and a skull that I made using the Magnolia stamp and some shrink plastic. To finish off I added a sentiment using some Doodlebug Halloween stamps, my Stampin' Up oval and scalloped oval punches. Both the main image and the sentiment have also been raised up on 3D foam pads.

Anyone for Anya? - Week 8 - "Paper Piecing"

This week on the Anyone for Anya? Challenge Blog our theme is "Paper Piecing". We want to see you paper piece part of your main image. For my card I have used a Miss Anya from the Dressy set and one of the My Guy Ian stamps and I have paper pieced Anya's dress and apron and Ian's shirt. The rest of the image has been coloured with Copics using the following colours...

The flowers are a mix of different Prima ones and I have attached them with a WRMK brad and a spacer. Finally I have finished off with some random bling and ribbon from my stash. There is also a heart punched using my new Stampin' Up heart punch (the three heart one). The sentiment is by Craftwork Cards and I have again layered it with my SU oval punch and also the designer label punch. In Anya's hair I have also added some Sakura clear glitter gel pen for a little added sparkle...a girl needs a little sparkle in her life.

This card was also made using the sketch this week over on Sketch Saturday...huge thanks to the DT ladies for their sketch and inspiration.

Sketch Saturday - Sketch #71

Here is my latest card using this weeks sketch over on Sketch Saturday. For my card I have used one of the new Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps that I bought from Silly Monkey Crafts this week. I have coloured the image with my Copics using the following colours...

The papers are from The Greeting Farm, and I have layered them with some Bazzill cardstock in brown and some gorgeous shimmery cardstock that I think is also Bazzill. I have used my Nestabilities to cut the main image out and to create the scalloped layer, and then raised on 3D foam pads. I have also added some Stampin' Up choc chip taffeta ribbon, Bazzill blossoms held with a Doodlebug sugar coated brad and spacer. Finally I have added a sentiment by Craftwork Cards layered using my Stampin' Up oval and scalloped oval punches and mounted onto 3D foam between each layer.

I didn't follow the pet theme, but loved the sketch and used it anyway. Thanks as always to the DT for their inspiration.

Cute Card Thursday - So Charming!

This week over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog our theme is "So Charming!". We want to see you use charms on your card or project. The papers are all October Afternoon "Good Cheer" and I have layered them with Bazzill & DCWV cardstock. The charm has been created using frosted Shrink Plastic that I stamped with another of the Lili of the Valley images and coloured with Copics...then shrunk it using a heat gun. I have also added a couple of heart pins, Stampin' Up choc chip taffeta, and stars punched with my Stampin' Up star punch. The sentiment is by Craftwork Cards and I have layered it up using a Woodware 1.5" circle punch and the Stampin' Up scalloped circle punch also raised on 3D foam pads. I used the gorgeous sketch over on Friday Sketchers....will certainly be using it again, as I am really pleased with the result....I now have 11 Xmas cards made...don't even want to think about how many more I need.

I love those little Shrink Plastic charms and will have to make more as they are so much fun and Georgia just loves to watch how they look all screwed up and then suddenly they are flat again...as if by magic!

Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge - Pick Your Favourite!

This week over on the Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge Blog our theme is "Pick Your Favourite". We want you to use one of your favourite stamps to create your ATC this week.

For my ATC I have used one of the Lili of the Valley Christmas Bear stamps that I finally got my hands on at Ally Pally last month. I have coloured it with Copics using the following colours...

The paper I used in the background is October Afternoon "Good Cheer", and I have used a Martha Stewart "Arctic Snowflake" punch covered in DecoArt Glamour Dust, finally I have added a Craftwork Cards xmas sentiment.

Slowly I am catching up after my weekend away...everything is unpacked and David is putting my crafting bags back into the loft this evening.

PS...Sorry for the picture quality my Nikon D80 is being repaired and I am using a small camera and it is harder to hold steady and use without the flash...

Another card from my weekend away...

Here is another Miss Anya/My Guy Ian card that I made while I was away at the weekend...this one also sold while I was there....LOL

I have used a Miss Anya from the first set, which I masked off and then added a My Guy Ian so that he is stood just behind....which is how I see most Husbands/Partners when they are shopping with their better halves...LOL Both images have been coloured with Copics, but I cannot remember all the colours...sorry. The papers are all Basic Grey "Indian Summer". I have used my Nesties to matt and layer the main image. The blossom is by My Minds Eye, then I have used some Anita's brown satin ribbon, a heart pin, a Stampin Up stamp and punch which I then put a Craftwork Cards sentiment over the top of. All the edges have been inked with Versa Magic in Jumbo Java.

I am loving the My Guy Ian stamps...and love to added Miss Anya to the mix...they make such a cute couple don't they!

The final touch was a little bling from my stash.

Anyone for Anya? Week 7 - You're Anya!

This week on the Anyone for Anya? Challenge Blog the theme is "You're Anya!". We want you to make a card with the Anya (or any other stamp from The Greeting Farm) that reflects your personality...so use the one that suits you best.

For my card I have used Shopping Anya from the original Miss Anya set. I also added My Guy Ian, who has come along for moral support and to carry the bags when they get too heavy...like all good Husbands/Partners are supposed to do. Anya & Ian have been coloured with Copics using the following colours...

The papers are by Collage Press "Camden". I have used a Martha Stewart Valentine Lace Punch for the heart border and my Nesties to create the mat for the main image. The ribbon is some I found lurking at the bottom of my ribbon mountain, the flowers are all by Prima, layered and attached with a Doodlebug sugar coated brad. Finally I have added a red heart pin and a sentiment by Craftwork Cards that has been layered using my Stampin' Up oval and scalloped oval punches.

As I was finishing off this card, Lyns asked to buy it to give to her hubby for his birthday, so I tailored the sentiment especially for her....and now I have had an order for another very similar for Sasha to give to her Sister...I will be back with that one on Monday...as long as I remember to take a photo before I let her take it home....

Tomorrow is our last day...all too soon good things must come to an end.....I have had a fab day and have even wandered around the crop room and lounge area in my PJ's.....scrapping in PJ's is so much more comfortable.

The picture on this layout was only taken on Friday at the Harvest Assembly at Georgia's new school. As she came out I grabbed this quick photo of her and her new friend. The papers are all October Afternoon, and I have also used one of the Joournal Diecuts, Prima bling and letters by Sassafras Lass. I ran out of letters so have used the negative.....

Here is a cute Halloween box I made with my Sizzix Box Die 2....I cut the box from Doodlebug flocked cardstock...so it feels fabulous and velvety. The embellishments are a mixture of Making Memories ones from the last couple of years.

Finally, here is the first page in my Prima Canvas album (Donna Downey Collection). It took me from April until Ally Pally last weekend. I have used some Jo Sonja and Blonde Moments paints, a Prima Journalling card, MAMBI Bling, Prima Blossom and the butterflies were cut with my X-Cut 3D punch and embellished with pearls. Finally I have added some Jo Sonja opal dust to the canvas for a little extra sparkle.

Off for a weekend of crafting and fun...

Well I am away for the weekend with the ladies from MKScrappers crop. We have the whole weekend to craft, eat and have a laugh.

As always I am not my most productive when I am away from my craft room. I have however donw the first page in my Prima Fabric Album...as designed for them by Donna Downey. I first saw these albums back in April @ ScrapFever when Donna herself showed me her finished album....and I fell in love instantly and it has taken from then until last weekend for me to get my hands on one of the albums.....I promise to come back tomorrow and show you the first page.

Well off to bed for me now....so much crafting to do tomorrow.

Cute Card Thursday "A Pinch & A Punch!

This week over on Cute Card Thursday, to celebrate the first of the month our theme is "A Pinch & A Punch!", we want you to celebrate a first by making a card/project. It can be...First Birthday (like mine), First Christmas, First Tooth, First Anniversary, a First (Degree), a First time Driving Test, First Home, First Kiss...whatever first you can come up with (isn't it amazing that I can now think of soooo many, and yet I just did First Birthday....just typical). I have used my Martha Stewart branch punch for leaves and finally added a Craftwork Cards sentiment that I layered up using my Stampin' Up oval and scalloped oval punches and each layer has been raised using 3D foam. To make the cupcake and blossoms all yummy looking I have also added DecoArt Glamour Dust, and Sakura clear glitter gel pen to her hair.
