Squiggle Project...

As I enjoyed making the first box so much...I made another. This one was a Valentines gift for Georgia's teacher....I gave it to her this morning and she loved it....
This one has been made from A4 Linen cardstock that I made my card bases from. The pink papers I decorated with are old ones by Pinecone Press. I have used one of the DIGI Squiggle stamps. Yes, you read that correctly...DIGI's from Squiggle Stamps. Tracy has released all the stamps as digi's....all you rubba lovers need not worry, she is still making them in rubba. You can find them all HERE. I have also embellished with a Designer label punch and sentiment by Stampin' Up. A Heart Pin, some ribbon from my stash and some flowers by Wild Orchid Crafts.

ETA - Copic colours used...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E50/E51/E53
Clothing - R81/R83/R85
Parcel - E77/R81/R83/R85

Check out the contents of the box below.....9 choccie hearts. The tissue paper inside has been stamped with a "Lips" stamp that I got from Sir Stampalot, using VersaMagic chalk ink. I also added a few punched hearts using my Stampin' Up punch.
Yum, Yum!

A Little Creative Treasure...

Ok, so no card today, but here is a cute little Mini Pizza Box I made with instructions over on Split Coast Stampers. The cardstock is Doodlebug Chenille...and is lush and flocked. I created the ribbon bow with the fabby kit over on Creative Treasures...you can find it HERE. The instructions are also available over on Split Coast Stampers. To the top I also added a piece of black cardstock cut with the Nesties Label One die, a designer tag by Stampin' Up and also the sentiment is from the SU "Best yet" hostess set. Finally I have finished off with a butterfly charm also from Creative Treasures...HERE, and a heart pin.

All That Scraps Weekly Wednesday Challenge - Valentines

This week over on the All That Scraps Weekly Wednesday Challenge Blog the theme is Valentines. I have made these cute acetate boxes containing some heart chocolates. I found the instructions for these cute boxes on Splitcoast Stampers, they were slightly bigger so all I did was reduce the size of the piece of acetate. These cute little boxes measure 2 x 3 inches, and were all just made with cardstock, acetate and a trimmer and Scor-Pal....and of course some double slided tape. I have filled the inside with 4 heart chocolates and the tissue paper also has some stamped red lips on it. The outside is decorated with a label tag punched with my Nesties, the digi images I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Bear - E30/E31/R20
Wings - R11/R20/R21/R22
Boxers - R21/R22/R37
The sentiment is by Stampendous "Mini Heart Bracket" which I have also coloured with Copics. I have added some little lips that I stamped with my new Anna Griffin set.
So I only need to make another 13 of these for Georgia's class mates...and then something for her teacher and the teaching assistant. Better get cracking this weekend as I only have one week, as half term in on the 12th.....arrrrggghhhhh.

Have you seen this cutie....

I love this cutie, she is right at the top of my Birthday List...I just adore her. She is very different to any of the other hAnglars.

Crafty Angels Weekly Challenge - Buttons!

This week over on the Crafty Angels Weekly Challenge Blog it was Kate's turn to set our challenge...and she chose "Buttons". She wants to see our cards featuring buttons.

For my card I have used some DCWV "La Creme" papers. I used my Martha Stewart "Valentine Lace" punch to create the hearts on the black spotty paper. I have used a random selection of red buttons attached to form a heart. The sentiment is by Technique Tuesday "Loving Words" by Ali Edwards.

It's a little different from me, but with David away all weekend, my craft time was minimal....I even had to cook! Good news is that he is on his way home from Chester and fingers crossed will be home by lunchtime...ish!

Be sure to check out the Crafty Angels Weekly Challenge Blog, both Sandie & Kate have made some beautiful cards.
