This week over on Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog our theme is "In the Name of Love!". We want to see your love themes cards/projects. It doesn't have to be valentines...although that would be great, it can also be anniversary, or a card for your other half's birthday....we just want to see the Love! I have also used the fab sketch over on Friday Sketchers...again...'cause I loved it.
For my card I have used a couple of the new Magnolia stamps....the honey pot and honey bee ones (sorry can't remember their real names). Both images are coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E47/E49
Clothing - W0/W1/W2/W3/W5/W7/Y17/Y21/YR31
Honey Pot - Y17/Y21/C0/C1/C2
The papers are all October Afternoon "Farm Fresh" and I have layered them with some Bazzill cardstock. I have kept the embellishments fairly simple on this one, just adding some gorgeous lace from Tabby Crafts, some pearl bling, a dotty bow from Craft Fairy, some hearts punched with my Stampin' Up punch and a sentiment by Daisy Bucket that was punched out using my Stampin' Up Designer Punch from the US.
We are joined by a Guest DT until the end of Feb....my DT bud from Crafty Angels, and this week our sponsors are the wonderful Simon Says Stamp. Be sure to pop on over and check out Sandie's and the rest of the DT's stunning creations....so much variety...it's amazing!
