Saturated Canary Challenge - Dies &/or Punches!

Over on the Saturated Canary Challenge Blog it's time for a new challenge.....and this week our theme is Dies &/or Punches.

For my card I used one of the new images called Love Letters which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...

The papers are all Papermania Portobello Road which I have layered with some red shimmer cardstock. I have used my Nestabilities Postage Stamps die, and also a Whimsy Shapeology Mini Stamp die. I have embellished using some ribbon from HobbyCraft with lips on, preal bling, a couple of heart pins (one which was coloured with a Sharpie to match). I have also used stamps from the following Papermania sets...Portobello Road Urban Stamps Postage, Papermania Urban Stamps Travel Print, Whimsy Stamps Everyday Mini Postage Stamp Sentiments, and finally I used a Craftwork Cards die-cut sentiment.

Some Odd Girl - 2nd Birthday!

Welcome to another fun post for this week with Some Odd Girl!  We had an amazing blog hop on Monday and Tuesday, and yesterday we found out the hop winner, and Kristy released some brand new clear stamps into the store, which were very Hush Hush!

Today to celebrate the 2nd birthday, the DT are showing you cards made with the brand new release!  Once again, these are clear stamps, not digi images.

I have added a sentiment by Inkadinkado, and also one that comes in the Baker Mae set and punched around it with a tag punch. I have also used some Bakers Twine, pearl bling a Jenni Bowlin Journal Card.

Some Odd Girl - Name That Digi Contest!

Some Odd Girl - Valentine's Digi Release - Day Four!

So today is the turn of Heartsy Mae, and I think her and Coy Kaylee are my two faves of this release....I just adore the spiky nature of Coy Kaylee's hair and the lush softness of Heartsy Mae's

I have used a Cheery Lynn Heart to Heart Lace Doily Die and embellished with some heart pins, a Jenni Bowlin Bingo Card, an SU punch to create the little hearts some ribbon that was part of an Xmas gift wrap set from M&S.

Some Odd Girl - Valentine's Digi Release - Day One!

The Christmas holidays are done but Valentine’s is on its way! To help celebrate the season of love Some Odd Girl have had a Valentine’s Clear Stamp Release and now they are having a Valentine’s Digi Release! Can you ever have enough love? I don’t think so! :)

There are 5 digis in the shop available now and we will be showcasing a different digi here each day this week! 

Today we are featuring our first Digi for the week, 2 Hearts Kody and Mae! Kristy has been asked before if Mae and Kody or Kaylee and Kody are brother and sister or anything like that and this might put one of those questions to rest ;)

I am a little late posting this one...been a bit forgetful...

Some Odd Girl - Bling Me!

It's time for the first challenge of 2012 over on the Some Odd Girl blog, and...It’s a BLING ME Challenge! That’s right.  BLING.  You know you love it.  We certainly love it.  We want to see a lot of bling and at least 2 types. Option include but are not limited to: pearls, rhinestones, stickles, loose glitter, foil, embossed foil, misting, glaze. The list goes on!

For my card I have used Love Letter Kaylee which I coloured with Copics using the following colours...

The papers are all Fancy Pants Love Story which I have layered with some black and red shimmer cardstock. I have added a couple of heart pins a bow. For the bling element of my card I have used a Heidi Swapp bling heart, and some bling in the corner and also some Stickles glitter glue in Star Dust. I used a sheet of the paper from the pad to create the little letters and also a Nestabilities Postage Stamp die.

Cute Card Thursday - What's New!

This week over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog our first challenge of 2012 has a theme of "What's New!". You can either make a "New" themed card, use "New" stash or even use a "New" technique...the choice is yours!

As the card is smaller than I normally make I left off many of my embellishments...

Saturated Canary - Christmas/Winter

Well with just one more sleep until the big day I want to wish you all a  

MERRY CHRISTMAS

I also wanted to share a final card before the big day...I made this one for this weeks challenge on the Saturated Canary Challenge Blog, as this week our theme is Christmas/Winter. I decided to go with a winter rather than christmas theme.

I have used the Maddie image available HERE which I have coloured with Copics.

The papers are all some old Fancy Pants Hot Chocolate papers layered with some shimmery brown cardstock. I have also used stickers from the collection, a piece of SU choc chip taffeta and a couple of heart pins. I also added some Sakura clear glitter pen to her eyelashes and Glossy Accents to her eyes to make them all shiny.

Well I better be off as we are getting ready to go off visiting...and I am going to the crematorium to leave a pressie and card for my Mum...and finally in the early evening we are off to Church for the crib service...it always makes Christmas come alive for me.

I have added a Jenni Bowlin Bingo card, some bakers twine and some Making Memories tickets.

Photo Frames...

Just wanted to share a couple of box frames I made to sell at the Christmas Fayre at Georgia's school earlier in December.

A Baby Girl One...I love the fact that you can add the hospital bracelet to the bottom of the frame, and if you can see it there is a dummy (pacifier) in the bottom too that moves around.

Saturated Canary Challenge - One for the Boys!

The papers are all 7 Gypsies Baby Oh Boy papers, I have kept this one pretty simple and just added some white AC satin ribbon and the sentiment is created with a stamp from The Greetings Farm Build-a-Onsie Boy clear stamp set and the die is from the Die-namics notched tag die and stamp set.

I adore Krista's cute digi's....and own all the Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy stamps....so you can image the honour when Krista asked me to join her DT....Over the Moon!

Some Odd Girl Challenge - Easel Card!

Gosh I am so late posting this card up....Have had a lot of family stuff going on, so my blog has felt somewhat neglected....

Here is the card I made for our challenge over on the Some Odd Girl Blog....our challenge is Easel Cards. I decided in my usual fashion to turn mine into an Easel Card Calendar. I used Roller Mae which I have coloured with Copics. The papers are all My Minds Eye Kraft Funday - Happy Days, which I layered with some Bazzill Kraft cardstock. I have embellished with some Doodlebug stitched ribbon in swimming pool, a couple of red heart pins a button with string tied through it and a couple of Create with TLC sentiments and a DoCrafts Calendar.
