This weeks challenge over on Tilda & Friends ATC Challenge Blog is "May Celebrations". Now this theme has had many a person scratching their head, but for me it was simple, May = May Queen and Maypole Dancing. When I was in Infant School down in Surrey in 1975-76 I was chosen from all the children in the school to be a Rose Queen Attendant at the May Queen celebrations....I have promised to dig out a photo soon. Anyway, as soon as I saw the theme I thought of the Maypole dancing that we did and the pretty dresses we wore...mine was pale pink with large white spots.
So, back to the ATC. I have used "Flower Power Tilda" by Magnolia, the papers are PaperMania "Retro Floral", the ribbon is from HobbyCraft and the sentiment is done with my ATB Tape Writer.
Such a wonderful challenge this week, and I am really enjoying these mini works of art.
