Sympathy Card...

During the week I found out from my Sister that my Dad's neighbour had passed away, having had health problems for as long as I have known him. So last night I came home from the NEC...and then a Firework Party and made a quick card for his wife to let her know we are thinking of her. Having only ever made one other Sympathy card....I was a little nervous. I think keeping the colours soft and serene and the card relatively simple is the way to go....so here is what I made...
What do you think?

So now that I am up, I have got to get a wriggle on as we are off to have dinner with the family down in Surrey today. I will be back again later this morning with my Anyone for Anya? card.

I had a fab day at the NEC, for me the best part was meeting up with my Blogging Buds and having a 2 hour lunch....I know 2 hours when there is stash to buy is a miracle, but it was a blast. I will be back with more details and pics later too.

Hi Caz
I think your sympathy card is lovely, they are always difficult ones to make, but you got the colours and content just right. I saw you on the magnolia stand at the NEC yesterday, rummaging through the big box of mini magnolias!!! I was going to say hello as I recognised you from your blog picture, but you were busy chatting !! It was either a pity or a good thing that Magnolia wouldn't take credit cards as payment as I could have gone really mad yesterday LOL I had a great day - my first one at the NEC - met up with a pal from PCP, and it sounds like you had a good time too :o) I think Annie (ink'n'rubba) will be coming round to see me and my new stash tomorrow :o)

This is a lovely card, very different to your usual style...I have never made a sympathy, I find them incrdibly difficult to make. You have done a wonderful job

Hi Caz *waves*

It was great to meet you and Marlene (or Marlane lol if I spell it like that I remember how to say it)on Saturday. I was totally starstruck to be standing with some of the creme de la creme of the crafting /blogging world. Just wish i'd asked you all for your autographs lol.
