ProMarker Storage Solution...

Georgia has been nagging me for a better way to store her ProMarkers. They were in a cute lilac box with a lid and handle but as she pointed out when you have all the colours to sort through it is almost impossible to find the colour you want. So a quick search around the net and I happened upon this idea using a DVD tower from Ikea for £7.99 plus some empty DVD cases (you need 14 in total). You can see Sue's version HERE. The DVD's are a little more expensive as Sue did hers in 2009. But the total cost was still just under £15. So yesterday afternoon I spent a couple of hours printing the bits for the spine and colouring them in. We still need to go to Staples and get some white sticker dots so that we can put the colour on the end of each pen to make it even easier. But as you can image she is over the moon with it, and spent the afternoon colouring, and even woke up early this morning and sat at her desk colouring until I woke up. If you want to do this the unit is called BOALT from Ikea and I got the bits for the spine from Passion for ProMarkers.

Hope you got your stickers in the post today. I sent them off yesterday first class to you.

I really need to do something like this cos my Promarkers are not getting used much as they are in storage boxes (my Copics are easily to hand in their clear boxes).
