Cute Card Thursday Challenge 18 "A card for a child"
This weeks challenge over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog is "A card for a child". So here is mine. Now this post was started this morning, but I have had one of those days. I was on the M1 on my way to a Clients in Northampton when they closed both sides of the motorway as a Land Rover towing an animal box containing cows had been involved in an accident and the cows were on the road....I know it sounds like a farce. They tried to land the air ambulance, but the cows were in the way....now stop laughing....anyway after about 1.5 hours sat stationary we got moving again...all in all there were 5 mile tail backs in each direction.
Anyway, back to the card. I was a bit cheeky and have copied the layout of the card from Leann's card this week. The image is my hAnglar & stAnglar and the sentiment by Hero Arts. The papers are Basic Grey "Euphoria", and I have added a WRMK designer brad and some lovely pink bling.
Things have been a bit mad here this week. Georgia's school were having a Leavers Prom for the Year 2's (Georgia is Year 1) and I was asked to take photos of all the kids. So I had a little studio area set up. I took almost 400 pictures and worked all day Thursday processing pics and getting 214 of them printed to be displayed at the Open Evening on the same day....boy did I work hard. Anyway I have sold approx 175 prints and after all the costs will have made approx £90 for the school. They were so well received and I have so many lovely comments from the Parents, Teachers and School Govenors...now I have been asked to do it all again next year. So after a week of crazy, I am praying for a quiet weekend.
