Cute Card Thursday - Strawberry Mint Julep!

This week on Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog our theme is Strawberry Mint Julep!....we want you to use a colour combo of Pink & Green. We are sponsored this week by the lovely Tracy @ Squiggle Stamps. I am very lucky to be a member of the Squiggle Stamps design team, so I have made a card using the stamps that are included as this weeks prize.

Together with the Squiggle Stamps (Christmas Elves Kit), I have used some K&Co "Peppermint Twist" papers. The images have been coloured with my Copics using the following colours...

Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - Y21
Girl Elf - R20/R21/BG34
Boy Elf - E34/Y21

I have added some Sakura Clear Glitter Gel Pen to the girl elfs hair, and Liquid Pearls to the fur trim on their hats and her dress. I have also added some glitter foam snowflakes that I picked up cheap in HobbyCraft a while back, a snowflake charm that was also in my kit from Tracy, plus some ribbon and bling from my stash. I have also added a couple of bells, that I got from Hobbycraft to the elves hats. To finish off I have added a sentiment by Craftwork Cards (I must get lots more when I go to Ally Pally in a couple of weeks) layered with my oval and scalloped oval punches from SU. I have also followed the fab sketch over on Friday Sketchers this week.

Come over and join us this week, we have a new Guest DT and the DT have made some amazing cards and the prize is just sooo cute.
