August GoGo Create...

Well as all the subscribers would confirm...the kits just keep getting better. I really loved the Kelly Panacci Q&A papers in this months kit...so much so that I had to buy more. Here are my creations this month...

I was inspired by these papers to let Georgia journal on my LO. She did such a wonderful job, and I am left with a wonderful keepsake of her writing, and the things she loves.

I had wanted to do a round LO since seeing one on the Pencil Lines Blog, I completed my first one at the Thornham Retreat and loved them so much that I did another with the August Kit.

Another first for me....a 6x12 LO featuring Hannah, Georgia and James...such a cheeky picture just begged to be scrapped.

And my final item was using the large Bazzill tag that came with the kit.

I thoroughly enjoyed using the August Kit, as I am sure all the subscribers are right this minute.

Northampton Balloon Festival saga

Well we were all set to go on Saturday, but changed our mind due to the persistent rain. So we tried again on Sunday afternoon. No sooner had we paid than the heavens opened and it rained, and rained and rained. We were drenched, the Balloon Race @ 6pm was cancelled, so we had paid £5 parking for less than 1 hour, and also paid £17 for us all to get in, walked around and get drenched to our skin....you have to laugh, or you could cry...LOL

Oh well, better luck next year...if we ever decide to go again.

A Little Later than Planned...

Ok, so it took me longer than I promised to get some pictures to show you. These were taken when Georgia and I spent a few days in Suffolk with Lorraine and her lovely family....
Georgia on Monday evening in Suffolk when we were waiting for Lorraine and Family to collect us and then for us all to go to dinner. Georgia deep in concentration and the pottery painting shop. Harry did such a fantastic job on his Dinosaur Mug...just look at his face...boy was he concentrating hard.
We had fun getting this picture just outside Earl Soham. We took it on the Wednesday morning after we left the B&B at Saxstead and were on the way to Aldeburgh. I pulled over and tried to take it, when a car came up behind me and I had to move. So I went around the triangle shape in the road and went around for another try. On the second try a man in a white van stopped and smiled into my camera...I think he wanted to be in the shot...you can just imagine me hanging out of the car window taking the pictures.
Georgia on the sea front at Aldeburgh....with the UV Filter. Georgia Jump on the beach at Aldeburgh...with the polarizing filter...how gorgeous does the sky look.
The polarizing filter make the sky a truer colour in my picture. In the other one it is washed out by the sun....it really did look as blue as the second picture.
Anyway enough for now, I will be back tomorrow with pictures of my August GoGo Create Design Team work.

wow what fun...

We have had the most amazing few days. On Tuesday the weather decided not to be kind to us, and it rained on and off all day. So we took ourselves to Woodbridge to a pottery painting place called "Jars of Clay" where we spent three glorious hours painting. Georgia decided that she wanted to paint one of the most expensive items...a fairy on a unicorn, and nothing I said or did could persuade her to choose a less expensive item....so for the quiet life I gave in. Well she did a lovely job. I chose a house shaped plate and a handbag money box...had such fun and can't wait for them to be delivered sometime next week. Lorraine chose a mug, with raised flowers and painted them in GoGo colours, Harry chose a dinosaur mug, and he did an excellent job. Both Zoe & Kirsty chose plates, and they create some wonderful work. After a quick walk around the rest of the town we headed back to Lorraine's where Georgia, Kirsty & Harry played on the Wii. Georgia beat Kirsty at bowling on the Wii...much to Kirsty's surprise....she said she was actually trying too....LOL. We spent the whole evening chatting, surfing and generally playing, and finished off with a lovely Curry that I went and got from the award winning Indian restaurant in Framlingham. Finally at about 10.30pm we said goodnight and made our way back to the B&B leaving Lorraine and the Girls to prepare for their trip to London the following day.

So Wednesday was check out day, and after a lovely breakfast, Georgia and I packed the car and took the 40 minute drive to Aldeburgh to spend the day at the beach. Well while it was not that hot (it was pretty windy) the weather was relatively kind to us. We walked along the front, stopping briefly for a Hot Chocolate with marshmallows...yum yum. We then had a look in a couple of shops and walked down to the other end of the seafront and had Fish & Chips on the beach. Now they were totally delicious....Fish & Chips always taste that much better by the sea. After collecting a few pebbles on the beach we walked back down the seafront stopping for IceCream back near the car. We decided that before we headed home we would take a few pictures on the beach....so that I could try out my new polarizing lense....and check out the results..I took some with and some without so that I could show you the difference...and will post them on Friday evening.

Slight change of plans...

Well as the weather had cooled considerably we decided to abandon fish & chips in Aldeburgh and instead we went to a restaurant in Ipswich. Harry and Georgia had great fun playing in the kids area....boy were they all hot and sweaty. The two of them decided that they didn't want a dessert...they just wanted to get back to the play area. Now I knew the minute Georgia saw my Chocolate Indulgence dessert that she would want to share...which was my plan all along as I rarely manage to finish a whole dessert. One thing I hadn't bargained on was Harry joining in on the fun...so my dessert became a three way split....with me getting the smallest share.

Not sure what our plans for tomorrow are....all I know is that Harry has instructed us to come to his house as soon as we can. Lorraine has to make a quick visit to see Phil aka her Dentist. She is the only woman I know who knows her Dentist by his first name...LOL. I think we are planning a trip so somewhere with indoor as well as outdoor areas so that we have a place to shelter if it decides to rain...which I am sure it will for at least part if not all of the day.

Ok, to bed I go...seems Georgia is now in the land of nod...so I can go and join her in the bed.

I'm a Rocking Girl Blogger....

Thanks to Jeni Hall who nominated me rocking girl blogger."The Rockin' Girl Blogger" idea originated from Roberta Flanaghan . It works like this ... you have to give her credit, put up the badge and finally, add 5 other rockin' girl bloggers to the list."So...who to tag...Bex, you're it!
I am sitting here in sunny Suffolk, where Georgia and I have come to spend a couple of days with Lorraine & Harry. Georgia is so excited and cannot wait to see Harry again. In 30 minutes they are coming to collect us and we are going to Aldeburgh for Fish & Chips...yum...we are hungry just thinking about it. Lets hope we are not attacked by Seagulls who think they can have our chips....

Lucky GoGo Girlies....

Well being a member of the ScrapGoGo Design Team is reward enough in itself. But this time Lorraine and Janice have surpassed themselves. Today I received my lush September kit, containing the gorgeous Heidi Grace products, and inside the box was a Happy 2nd GoGo Birthday present. Lorraine and Janice had commissioned Jaquie of http://www.astringofbeads.co.uk/ to make us all a GoGo Dolly Bead. And here it is...how lucky are we...
So Thursday was spent at home, mostly with Georgia & I watching craft day on QVC. I would be broke if I bought every item of sparkly bling that Georgia said she wanted. That girl is a magpie...if it is sparkly or glittery...or even both...she wants it. So I ordered a couple of bits, but nothing extravagant. So if you were watching at all yesterday, what did you order? tell me...I want to know I wasn't alone!

My Karen Russell kit also arrived yesterday, and it is gorgeous. It comes with a fab CD to take you through the making of the book. Hopefully I will get a chance to play over the weekend as it is the MKScrappers Monthly Crop.

The Postal strikes are beginning to p**s me off. While I understand that they feel it is the only way they are heard, it is awfully hard to bare when you are waiting for a van full of parcels...well half a van full. I am waiting on approx 16 parcels (many are small). I really hope some of them turn up today, but I am not holding out much hope. I believe the Special Delivery of my Cricut Carrying Tote will make it through, as RM, in the case of SD, are obliged to deliver the service you pay for....so I should have at least one.

I also collected my new filters from Jessops this week. I got a UV filter (mainly to protect the lense) and also a polorizing circle filter. Hopefully I will get a chance to use it while Georgia and I are in Suffolk at the beginning of next week. We are also going to the Northampton Hot Air Balloon Festival on Saturday 19th...so plenty of photo opportunities to be had.

Oh well, bed is calling. Georgia and I have a lot on tomorrow...so much fun..Shrek the Third here we come...

Doing a Happy Dance...

Those of you who are regulars to my Blog may remember me posting about ordering a tote bag for my new Cricut. Well sadly the order was cancelled as they didn't receive the amount of stock promised by Provocraft. So for weeks I have been regularly searching on Google, and the only stores that had them were in the US and due to licensing agreements they were unable to ship to the UK. Well today I searched again, and I think I put different criteria into Google...and low and behold the third store on the list was in the UK. Now I am hyperventilating as I click on and see that it is in stock, but having been disappointed once already I decide to call them. I spoke to a lovely lady who confirmed that it was in stock...the final one. She had originally had 4, 3 of which sold almost instantly, and this one had been left all alone. So now it will be mine, and will be with me via Special Delivery tomorrow. So maybe it wasn't as cheap as the US, but seeing as how I would have had to ship it to a friend in the US first and then they would ship it on....and then the potential of getting caught by customs....I am not unhappy in paying £66 with free Special Delivery. So as a reminder....here is my lovely new bag....

Roll on tomorrow, we have a busy day including a haircut for me, and a trip to the Cinema to see Shrek the Third for Georgia and I.

Time for Fun...

Well David finally got to spend some time with us. Although he still went into work yesterday, he was home by 2pm. So after a brief sit down for coffee, we all went for a lovely walk in the park. We walked the mile to the shop, where we had ice cream, followed by a brief sit in the shade under one of the bridges on the redway. For those of you who don't know Milton Keynes it is covered in "Redways", called this as they are made of a pinky red coloured tarmac and they criss cross the whole city. In theory you can walk/cycle on them to anywhere in the city. Anyway while we stopped I took a few pictures...and I am going to share a couple.

You can seen in the picture above that Georgia was trying to drip her ice cream over David, but he was trying to eat it instead. Georgia has really missed spending time with her Daddy, and hopefully after this week, things will get back to normal.

Finally my new Crocs arrived. I ordered some Sassari Crocs from eBay US, and I love them...I have been wearing them since the moment I took delivery from ParcelForce....here they are... So today is operation clean up in Georgia's bedroom. I wanted to do it over the weekend...but the time seems to evaporate over the weekend, so it is on todays hit list....she has promised to help...but she may well turn into more of a hinderance than a help.

What is everyone else up to today....make me jealous...tell me about all the fun you have planned...

Work to share...

OK, so as promised here is a LO I did @ Thornham....my first ever round LO. I have been wanting to do one since there was a round LO as a Pencil Lines sketch months ago. But have only just plucked up the courage to have a go. So here it is...

We were supplied with the challenge kit at the crop, which were papers from the ScrapaGoGo July kit. I added the felt which I stamped on with Stazon ink...love the technique of stamping into fabric, and will be doing it again soon. Also added some HS Bling Words...I still love them....I have now used up the packet and need to decide whether I NEED to order more...I mean a girl can never have too much bling!!!

Here is one of the LO's I produced with the July ScrapaGoGo kit. Been a little slow to share them...too be honest I just forgot.

All the items used here were contained in the July Kit, I cut the swirls on the reverse of one of the sheets of patterned paper and from a sheet of the pale blue bazzill, using my QK Revolution. Whenever you create designs for a kit or shop, you really hope that people like what you do. So when one of the lovely ladies wanted to scraplift this layout, I was pleased to be able to loan them my QK Revolution to cut the swirls. In moments of self doubt I think members don't like the work I do. So when one of the kit members told me that they always check out the booklet and clubhouse for my work first, I was over the moon, and very proud and honoured to be part of such a wonderful group of women. I think the fact that we have such different styles makes us such a rounded group.

So my other LO is of Georgia when she was just a couple of months old. I also used my QK flower die to cut the flowers from the papers included....gotta love Fancy Pants...so pretty. August's designs are now complete and I should have Septembers kit with me by Monday/Tuesday.

Hope everyone is enjoying the lovely weather.

{Hard to Believe}

It is almost as though we are in a different country when you compare the weather of the past week to the week preceeding it. What a glorious week, and it looks to continue through the weekend and into next week...now this is what the school holidays are supposed to be like.

This week Georgia and I have spent time together. We have been food shopping, played in the garden, had a picnic and generally just chilled. David is still working silly hours and on Thursday night he strolled in at about 11pm. Thankfully today he didn't go to work until 8am, and was home a little after 6pm....much better. I mean the additional money is always nice, but when it interferes too much with family time enough is enough. Today they finally got everything working so I think the long hours are definately coming to a close.

Today I created another LO with my August ScrapaGoGo Kit. Sadly I cannot share it, but I can tell you it is round. I did my first ever round LO at Wyverstone "Thornham" Weekend Retreat and now I am hooked. I even used my new Cricut on the title...my first Cricut title cut with my own machine.... So now I have done 2 LO's and a project with this months kit, and may have another one in me before the September kit arrives...although it is already on it's way and may well be here in the morning....Post willing. I think I need to say a prayer to the Postie Gods!!!
I loved this months papers so much (Kelly Panacci Q&A range) that I have had to order myself some more...sadly it seems nobody else in the UK is stocking them..or maybe I just couldn't find them, so I have had to order from the US. Cost me a bundle in postage....but I just loved them soooo much.

Tomorrow I am on a mission....Operation clean up Georgia's Bedroom. Today she decided to pull everything out of the cupboards...and leave it all over the floor. Now I am not the tidiest scrapper...but I believe real scrappers have better things to do than clean. So tomorrow the list of chores now includes....washing, clean bedrooms, clean bathroom, tidy away my craft stuff from LAST weekend (I know I haven't completely unpacked yet) and also to cut the grass in the garden and weed the flower beds....and in my spare time I need to do more scrapping.....yeah can you hear the Mission Impossible music playing in the background.

Oh well, enough for now, will be back over the weekend with pictures of the things I can show you from Thornham (mainly a mini book and round LO, plus my July ScrapaGoGo work).

She's Home...My Little Princess is Home.....

What a weekend, I had such a fantastic time at the Wyverstone "Thornham" Retreat. Janice and Lorraine were fantastic as usual. They really do make sure that everything they do is well planned and practically perfect in every way.... I got to Janice's house at a little after 1pm on the Friday, we ha a quick drink and chat and then drove the 10 minutes to Thornham where Lorraine, Zoe & Kirsty were waiting, after quick hugs and hellos I started to unpack the clocks...all 27 of them....Thanks to both Zoe & Kirsty for helping. Slowly people started to arrive and the cropping room started to fill up quickly. The Wyverstone ladies are such a loveoly friendly bunch, a real pleasure to spend a weekend with. One of the ladies sitting near to me had a little book of inspiration, where she attached pictures of layouts that she wanted to scraplift. Well imagine my surprise when I noticed that one of the layouts in the book was mine....she didn't know it was me.....such a warm fuzzy glow. The layout she wanted to scraplift was called "Fairy" using the 3 Bugs in a Rug Papers. Anyway Friday evening passed all too quickly, and at 1.30am I just couldn't stay awake any longer, and took the 5 minutes walk in the pitch black back to the cabins.

Saturday arrived all too quickly and with it came another couple of lovely classes and lots more scrapping. I had a mini photo shoot with Stevie...twice...LOL I had the worst headache, no pills, and in all the pictures I looked miserable and in pain. So Ann and Ally offered to be my entertainment, and after dinner we had another go, with much better results. Stevie also took pictures of all the other GoGo Create Design Team members that were there....Debbie, Ifa, Ann, Eileen and obviously Lorraine and Janice. I can't remember ever laughing so much as I did over the course of the weekend...I had tears rolling down my face at one point...Ann & Ally are like a comedy double act....they should come on prescription on the NHS.

Sunday came all too quickly, and before I knew it, it was time to start packing up my stash and getting ready to come home. So the Tom Tom told me it would take me 2 hours and 17 minutes to get home, but I know it usually takes 2 hours...well naughty Miss Speedy did it in 1 hours and 50 minutes on the way home, and got there at 7pm. David had arrived home an hour before, but Georgia wasn't coming home until Monday lunchtime. The house seemed to quiet without her.

So after a good nights sleep I rose at 8am on Monday in anticipation of Georgia coming home...and at a little after 11 am I saw her running up the path with her younger cousins Sean. They banged on the front door before I got a chance to run there....I opened that door as quick as I could and scooped up my precious little princess and spun her around and squeezed her until we could hardly breathe. I missed her so much, more than I ever thought possible. She looked so much more grown up as she came inside...how can they grow up so much in just FOUR days...how is it possible.

Anyway we had some lunch and a quick bounce on the trampoline followed by a walk in the park to feed the swans and ducks. At 6pm Nana, Pops and Sean left, and Georgia and I had more cuddles until she fell asleep in my arms. David finally came home a little after 9pm, and missed out on the chance of cuddles, luckily this morning he managed to go into work about 30 minutes later than usual, and had the chance of some cuddles.....I don't think he will be home in time for more this evening. Anyway I better get a move on as Georgia is off to Gymnastics today and I need to get her there by 9am.

Off to Wyverstone Weekend Retreat

Well I am just getting my last bits and pieces together and then I will set off on my 2 hours drive to Thornham via Janice's house.

So excited, I am even having a mini photo shoot with Stevie....

Georgia phoned from Nana & Pops last night and it had me in pieces....I sobbed my little heart out. After her being ill in the morning, I was wracked with guilt about sending her off for the weekend. But the good news is that by the time she left she had perked up and by the evening she was fine. She told me that she missed me and that she loved me to 169 million. Today she is off to Legoland, I have armed her with my old digital camera, so hopefully there will be a few cute pictures on there.

Anyway, got to get going. Will try to update over the weekend, but unsure of internet access. So failing that will post on Sunday night with some pictures.

Mid Week Mayhem and Momiji...

Well I can't believe we are already halfway through the first week of the school summer holidays. So what have we been up to...well David has been working 7 days a week for 9 weeks now, so I have not had a lot of time to myself, and the house feels like it is a tip. Looks like he will be working 7 days a week for another 2-3 weeks, and then back to normal...yay.

On Saturday Georgia and I went and did a little bit of shopping. First we went to Poundland, we got a few crafty bits including some sticker packs. They included alphabets, epoxy and clear stickers, there were different themes including School, Birthday, Baby Boy, Baby Girl, Girly & Love. We got one of each with the exception of school & birthday. Then onto Dobbies were Georgia & I had lunch in the coffee shop followed by a quick look in their gift section....where I found that they now stock Momiji Dolls. They also stocked mugs, hankies, tissues, cards and stickers all featuring Momiji Dolls. So we chose 3...I know 3, but we couldn't decide so we got 3. Here they are...

I love them so much, they are just so darn cute. I am planning a layout featuring them, so it is fab that I can use the stickers and these little note cards that they sell. The note cards are like little journalling blocks. Will have to take a picture before I go away on Friday so that I can scrap it will I am at Thornham. I think the DCWV Far East range will be a perfect match. So then after Dobbies came Costco where we got some essentials plus a Heidi Swapp kit for my SIL, and the other Scrapping kit that they had in the blue.

So on Sunday we spent the day at home, Georgia did lots of colouring, she played for hours on CBeebies website and then we watched the F1 European Grand Prix. Georgia loves to cheer on Lewis Hamilton...she is a funny little thing. David strolled in at about 6.30pm, and we had a roast dinner....I actually prepared and cooked it....I think I have cooked about a 20 times this year so far...a record for me as David usually does all the cooking.

On Monday we stayed at home, with the exception of a quick trip to the Post Office to send a parcel as I had a stack of work that I need to get done for my clients by the end of July. So that gets us up to yesterday, Georgia will be going to a Gymnastics and Fun Fitness Club with MKSpringers every Tuesday & Wednesday during the summer holidays, so far she is loving it.

Tomorrow Georgia is being collected by her Nana & Pops and they are taking her home with them for the weekend. They are planning on taking her to Legoland on Friday, weather permitting. While she is away I am off to the Wyverstone Weekend Retreat @ Thornham with the ladies of Scrapagogo. I am so excited...even if totally unprepared....I think I am going to have a hectic couple of days.

Anyway, better get back to work, as I am at a Clients....skivving.

Last Day in Foundation...

Today is Georgia's last day in foundation at school. I just cannot believe how quickly the year has passed by. Where has my nervous little girl gone...in her place is a more confident child. I have pressies made of the Teachers & TA's...let's hope they all like them, and also cards that say "Thank You for helping me to grow"...Georgia will fill them in a sign them in the morning. So now six weeks of holidays are upon us. Georgia is going to Gymnastics every Tuesday & Wednesday so that I can get some work done during those days. I am away the last weekend of the month at the Thornham Weekend Crop with Janice & Lorraine of ScrapaGoGo..and cannot wait. David has to work, so Georgia is going to stay with her Nana & Pops (David's parents). They are collecting her on Thursday and bringing her back on Monday and have a trip to Legoland planned, so that will be great fun. It will be the longest she has been away from me, and will be very strange, but I have to let go at some time, and now is as good a time as any. I have promised to phone her every night...not sure if that will make me feel better or worse...only time will tell.

I took the colour quiz and I am....

Proud Mummy Moments....

This month has been filled with Proud Mummy Moments. At the beginning of July, Georgia finally managed to recognise all 45 of her Foundation Key Words (she knew them before this, but when tested she tended to panic and forget). Then on Friday we got her School Report. At the beginning of the school year her teacher, Mrs Kirkpatrick, said they she expected the majority of pupils to get at least to 7 on the scale. By Easter Georgia had already achieved that in some areas and was close on sixes for the rest. Well her final report has her on 2 7's, 5 8's and 6 9's, giving her a final mark of 108/130. I am so proud of her, she has started off so well, and is really looking forward to starting Year One in September.

On Saturday we went to the schools Annual Barbeque. The weather gods were smiling down on us and the sun shined all day long. Georgia had such fun, she had her face painted as a pink bunny rabbit...Boy did she look cute. The local Fire Station were supposed to be coming to open the BBQ, but they were called out so didn't show up, then just after 7pm a Fire Engine pulled up at the school. It seems the night shift had come on duty and seen the booking in the diary, and came out instead. The kids were so excited and Mr Upton, the Headmaster, called upon my photography skills. I seem to have become the official unofficial photographer of the school events...what with the Football match the previous week, and my 112 pictures in one hour..LOL. Anyway I was tasked to take pictures, and take them I did. I was standing just behind the fireman in the door, but was having trouble getting a clear shot. The fireman had to stay put because of the health & safety issues of the small kids in the back....it is a long way up. So I cheekily asked if I could sit in the front and take shots of the kids over the seat...and permission was granted, much to the envy of many of the other Mums...hehehe...if you don't ask you don't get! Anyway I took approx 300 pictures on the day, and now I am trying to get them all processed and converted to JPegs ready to hand over to Mr Upton. Georgia had a lovely day and spent the whole day with her friend Hannah and by 9pm she was tired out and ready to go home. Both of us have been bitten to death by gnats, Georgia has 9 bites covering her middle legs and ankles, and I have 2, one on my foot and the other on my elbow.

So the next Proud Mummy Moment came yesterday. Georgia was entered into her first Gymnastics competition. She only started with MKSpringers during the Whitsun holiday, and only does an hour per week. But she continues to improve and her confidence grows. She was so nervous, she told me she was too scared and didn't want to do it. I was reluctant to force her, so just persuaded her to get ready and if she really didn't want to do it, then she didn't have to. So we are in the queue for registration and we see her friend Alice from school. While we were in the registration queue the gymnasts were called to go and warm up, so off they went together. Anyway I could see her warming up, doing her bridge (I always used to call it a crab...lol). Finally it was her turn to go on the first piece of equipment, a beam...they have to run up and then stop, climb on and walk along and do a lovely jump off to the finish position. Here is a picture of her waiting in line for her turn....too cute...
After she had done there, she went over to do her floor routine. All the younger gymnast had to do the same routine. For the first time ever she did it perfectly, the best I had ever seen. At the end they were all lined up for the prize giving. We seriously never expected to win anything she entered for the experience and for fun. So you can imagine the surprise we got when her name was called out...for First Place....she won a GOLD MEDAL.....yippeeeeeee Here she is having just received her medal. Please forgive me on the picture quality, but the venue was a photographic nightmare. Indoors, no natural light, flourescent lights, we were sitting on a big bleacher style seating thing, and it moved when people walked up the stairs...so what with using a zoom lense with no tripod and poor lighting...it really challenged my limited photography skills. Although I did feel better when Alice's parents told me they hadn't managed to even get a single half decent shot. The amount of pictures I had with people blurred heads in was unbelievable...lol

Just to Clarify...

Thanks to my anonymous commentor I feel I must pass comment on here. I do appreciate and understand that Cassie has probably been through a great deal, and could well be emotionally damaged by all she has been through. I do not condone what she has done, but by the same token neither am I slamming her. I was merely commenting on events happening in mine and my daughters life, and that I was disappointed in the breakdown of communication from the school, and in the Grandma who obviously made an effort to find out who I was, but to then say nothing.

Anyway, enough on this matter. Sports Day had to be postponed today due to the weather. They are hoping to hold it on Monday, but I am not holding out much hope as the weather is not supposed to be any better then. At least we have the BBQ tomorrow, which should be fun. Georgia tells me she wants to have her face painted as a Puppy...so I will try to get a picture.

Ok, bed is calling....nite nite.

{The Spitting Saga and Sports Day}

I meant to post this earlier in the week, but forgot. On Monday while emptying Georgia's book bag, I found a little card. I asked Georgia if she drew it and she said it was from Cassie, I asked her if Cassie was her friend, and she said no. When I looked inside the card Cassie was saying sorry, but I couldn't work out what she was saying sorry for. I asked Georgia why, and she told me that Cassie spat on her. So I then tried to find out details from her, but she has a memory like a goldfish...like all young kids. Anyway I sat there brooding all evening and analysing events from the day before in the school playground. So on Tuesday morning, I pulled one of the teaching assistants aside and asked what happened, she was unsure but promised to get to the bottom of it. So Tuesday afternoon when I collected Georgia from her afterschool French club, Mrs Kirkpatrick came out to see me. She was very apologetic and disappointed that we had been let down so badly, seeing as how they had not told me what had happened. It appears that there was a substitute teacher in that afternoon and was supposed to have talked to me, and didn't. The following morning they thought all was ok because I was fine....well I would be...BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW..... So they explained what happened and that Cassie had been given a yellow card (Georgia tells me she gets them regularly) and that it is being treated seriously. I know the school have dealt with it, but what annoys me most is that Cassie's Grandma asked other parents in the school playground who was Georgia's Mummy, and one of the Mums that I am friendly with said "This is Georgia's Mummy", while I was standing there, and she said nothing....I thought that was strange, but then I didn't know about the spitting incident. Yesterday I talked the Mum who was there and she knew all about it...Cassie's Grandma had told her. She also told me that Cassie lived with her Grandma because if she didn't Cassie would have ended up in care. If I had been in her place and Georgia had done something to another child, I would have made a point of going up to the other parent and talking to them, even apologising.....maybe I am just different.

Why do kids feel the need to spit, maybe they have just seen too many older kids and adults doing it. It is a disgusting habit, and one that seems all too common these days. You walk along the streets seeing young lads spit. Why do I want to see everyones spit on the path...it is vile.

So today is sports afternoon, I have my camera charged and at the ready....lets hope for some great shots. I mean I took 112 at a one hour football match last week, and I was worried about the battery going flat....so who knows how many I will take today...obviously weather permitting...they will cancel if it rains.

{New Products}

I have been blog surfing this evening...I regularly check out Anso's blog and saw a sneak peek of some new Love Elsie lines...Lola & Riley. First 2 pictures are Lola, and the rest are Riley.

They look fab, and according to Elsie's own blog, there are more new lines coming at CHA. I am also pleased that Bam Pop are releasing a Volume 3, very different brighter with pinks and unicorns, robots, ninguins (ninja penguins..lol).

Another CHA sneak peek that has me drooling....Rusty Pickle Princess Pirate. It reminds me very slightly of the CI Caution Girl range...but I still love it.

With so many new products again...where do I spend my hard earned cash...what will I NEED

Jimminy Cricut

Yes, I have taken the plunge and ordered myself a Cricut machine. I have borrowed one from a friend and after having it for a couple of months, I have finally used it...and now I have seen what it does I NEED one. So I have ordered one..and fingers crossed I will collect it from the Thornham Retreat with the GoGo Girles later this month. I also ordered this gorgeous little bag to keep it in, but that is coming from the US as I can't find it stocked anywhere in the UK at the moment. How cute does it look? It can carry the Cricut machine and tools plus 12 cartridges. So plenty of space. I decided against the rolling tote as it seems Provocraft are having some production issues and many are being returned, and I can only pull one rolling tote and I already have my XXL.

So for the first time ever I have been tagged....by Monica I have to tell you 7 things about me that you may not know, so here goes...
1. My teachers at school always wrote on my School Report that I was a chatterbox...and nothing has changed.
2. I was Rose Queen Attendant in Infant School, and did maypole dancing.
3. I met my husband David at Sea Scouts where I was a canoeing instructor.
4. I was too scared to have a baby until I was over 30.
5. I have been with my husband longer than I was without him.
6. I love Asda Pineapple and Mexican Lime High Juice.
7. I used to collect Cabbage Patch Dolls...and still have loads, although I am selling them...I just sold 3 and got £400 in total...enough to buy my Cricut and some cartridges and the bag.

Ok, so now I need to find 7 victims...which I am too tired to do tonight...so I will save that for tomorrow.

The rest of the week here will be hectic as I had to rearrange my Clients so that I can go to Georgia's first Sports Day at school on Friday afternoon. Then on Saturday Georgia & I are going to her school BBQ from 4-9pm, and David is working again and I have been volunteered to help serve on the BBQ...as long as they don't make me cook then everone will be safe. On Sunday, Georgia is taking part in her first Gymnastics competition with MKSpringers. She is very excited and today she showed me that she can now do a crab...well that is what I always used to call them as a child. I believe they have a more technical name, but I just can be arsed to remember it...lol

So it is really late and has taken me an hour to type this entry...so off to bed I go.

Another hectic weekend

This weekend was much more of the same here. David was working all over the weekend...he hasn't had a day off in six, yes, six weeks. It is not through choice either. The contract he is leading can only be done outside of the Company's regular production shifts. So Georgia and I entertained ourselves on Saturday by watching Live Earth. I enjoyed many of the acts, but some were not to my taste. I thought the RHCP were fab, as were The Foo Fighters and Keane. The Pussy Cat Dolls final song (Don't Cha) was great....so many men were busy taking pics of the stunning girls strutting their stuff up on the stage in front of them...it was so funny. I was disappointed to miss Genesis as I love some of their stuff from the 70's/80's. But the most disappointing for me was Madonna. She walked onto the stage and used foul language. Now don't get me wrong, I swear, but not this word (the MotherF word). And how that woman can advocate we all change our ways when she has a carbon footprint that experts have estimated to be the equivalent of 54 Americans or 102 Brits or 15, 528 Malawayians just beggars belief. Maybe if she flew around less in private jets/commercial jets then that would be a start. She can make more of a difference just by changing her own ways, instead of preaching to us. Again, don't get me wrong, we use energy efficient bulbs, we don't keep the house too hot, we turn off applicances from standby, we recycle and have a compost bin. Plus we don't have huge gas guzzling cars. But I do take offence...ok rant over.

Today we went to visit my Dad, Sister and her family. We had a lovely day, even though they were all a little hungover from the previous nights party. My Sister loved her clock and it was immediately hung up in place of her boring old Next clock.

I have also made another altered clock. I used the Bam Pop papers again (I am loving their quirkiness), this one is for the staff in Reception where Georgia goes to school. Their clock was damaged by one of the children visiting from September's intake. So here it is...

I am giving it to them tomorrow, so fingers crossed they like it as much as I do.

My clock for my Sister is now featured in the Bam Pop Gallery...so take a look... http://www.bampop.com/

Toot Toot...{for me}

Well the last few days have been busy as usual. I was a woman on a mission after the crop on Sunday. Monday morning after I dropped Georgia at school I needed to pop to the chemist, so while there I went into InStore to get the clocks for next months crop. So the ladies did look at we strangely when I told them I needed 45 clocks...LOL. So they helped me get them down and put them into a cage for me and wheeled them to my car. So 20 are for the ladies at the MKScrapper Crop in August and 20 are for Lorraine @ ScrapaGoGo, the extras are all mine, all mine I tell ya. I need to go back and get a couple more as I have had a couple of requests from the other girls on the GoGo Create Design Team.

So back to the toot toot bit. Well I emailed Bam Pop and told them about the clock I had altered with their products...and they wanted to see a picture, and they want to add it to their gallery....the exact words of Jen were that she loved it. I am so thrilled as there are so many fabulous pieces of art from many talented ladies in that gallery. The gallery was actually what inspired me to buy the papers in the first place, and then I just needed to find the courage to use them. They are quirky and fun, and exactly what I wanted for the clock for my Sister. I think she will have fiun filling in all the speech and thought bubbles with things that her kids say.

So today looks a little brighter on the weather front...I can actually see some blue sky and sunshine, although I doubt it will last long. David is finishing work early, he has been working weekends for the last 6 weeks without a day off and the chores have gotten behind. I just can't do it all alone. What with working and running around after Georgia, trying to keep the house tidy and anything else that life throws at me...I just don't have enough hours in the day.

I will be back later with some instructions for the clock as a couple of people have asked me to post them here.

Hope everyone is waking up to sunshine today, and that you all have a wonderful day.

The Idea Factory...

Today was MKScrappers monthly crop, and I didn't complete a single 12x12 page in the 6 hours I was there...I did however finish my ScrapaGoGo Design Team CJ, and also alter a clock. The new (well new to me) venue was fabulous, loved the light and space. It was such a huge improvement on the old space. We even had a fab little atrium area where would could kit and eat if we wanted. It had a glass ceiling so was flooded with wonderful light.

I also had so many fab ideas today it was unheard of. While doing the CJ lots of the ladies came up to take a quick look. Some had seen the picture I put here yesterday and wanted to see it in the flesh. They loved it so much that we decided to do it as a kit for the December Xmas Crop, which is always a big event with a larger project/kit. Then everyone was watching as I altered the clock, it was then decided that we would do altered clocks for next months class project....I think Lyns now has to go and buy 20...yes 20 clocks from Instore tomorrow afternoon. So now the clock is finished (it was done at the crop but I needed to add 3 final pictures to the top of the clock). This is going to be a New Home gift for my Little Sister who should be moving house during the school holidays. I am really pleased, especially as it has been sitting on the side next to me for the last 10 days begging me to alter it...so now I need to go back to Instore and buy a couple more...as I need one. I have already decided that I want it in the lounge and I will us e BasicGrey Urban Couture papers. So here it is...leave me a comment and let me know what you think. So I used Bam Pop Volume One papers and diecuts, American Craft RootBeer Float Thickers in Black, Heidi Swapp Clock Face and the hand is cut from a Sizzlit die. I have left lots of speech & thought bubbles empty and I am going to ask my Sisters Kids (pictured) what they want in their bubbles.

If you would like some instruction, leave me a comment and and I will post some here.

Anyway back to the ideas...so then I came up with the idea of doing a matchbox book. Not the regular size ones, but the larger box that your Nan used to have in the kitchen to light the stove...well I don't know about the rest of you but mine both did. Then I think Rachael had the idea to do a Beer Coaster kit, so now we have enough ideas for the rest of the years crops...it really makes planning so much easier for both Rachael & Lynsey. My final idea was to bring blue tack to the next crop, and for people to stick their layouts to the walls for everyone to admire, which also makes it easier for Rachael to take pictures to share on the MKScrappers Blog.

So now I cannot wait until next month when I can see what fab creation the ladies come up with...it is always wonderful to see how different they all look.

Don't you hate head colds in the summer...

Sorry I have been a bad blogger. I came down with a summer head cold at the beginning of the week, and it has been as much as I could do to keep up with work & Georgia let alone blogging.

So to be honest nothing particularly exciting has been going on here, but then I am sure that is pretty much the norm for the majority of us....there can't be excitement every day/week.

On a crafting front I am taking part in a CJ with some of the fellow members of the ScrapaGoGo Design Team. I was pretty nervous about taking part considering how talented this group of ladies are. I really wanted my CJ to pack some punch, after all I am sending it to the ultra talented Debbie Jewell, DT member for ScrapGenie, Collectively Yours & The Design Collective as well as ScrapaGoGo, so I wanted it to be good..no great. But what should I do, what album should I use... I wanted it to be different. Then I saw some sneaky peeks on Bex's Blog about clear albums being released at CHA in July. I really really wanted to try one, but knew I would never get hold on one before the end of June...so I went off to search 0n eBay and purchased a sheet of A4 4mm clear perspex and some A5 acetate sheets. David has kindly cut the acrylic sheet and rounded the edges for me, and also drilled the holes for the book rings. So my CJ is a clear album, with clear pages...how cool is that. Now I just needed a theme...so I was thinking for days when I had a conversation with a colleague about how we met our partners, and first date horror stories, when suddenly I decided it would be a great idea for a CJ....so First Date Stories was born. So far I have completed the album and decorated the cover with blossoms, HS Ghost heart, Hambly transparency, American Craft rootbeer float thickers and Love Elsie Roxie chipboard buttons, and soft charm and ribbons including some of the Love Elsie Roxie ones... I have started my page using the ScrapaGoGo June kit, and will finish it tomorrow ready for posting on Monday morning. I just need to cut some tags (also acetate) for signing and the do the intro page.

This evening Georgia and I are off to a wedding reception for a couple of hours while David is at work. Tomorrow is the monthly MKScrappers Crop now in our regular new location in Olney...never been to the Olney location before...so should be fun.

Homegrown...

Today we sampled our first ever homegrown strawberries. Planted in a tub in the garden, we will never have a huge supply, but todays were the first three...so one for each of us. They were so lovely and sweet, I am not sure if they really tasted better or whether we just think they did because we grew them...guess we will never know. I did however take a photo to mark the occasion, and here it is...

So today the weather forecast was for heavy rain, and I am not sure what happened, but it definately decided to stay away, but I think it will be back tomorrow. David had to work again today, so Georgia and I spent the afternoon crafting and watching "Music and Lyrics". I cannot believe that she actually loves one of my films. She sings along to the words to the opening song, which is called "Pop goes my heart" and has Hugh Grant dressed up in 80's gear as part of an 80's pop group called Pop. She is such a funny thing, and we spent the nicest day together, she was adorable and fun to be with.

So while the film was on I was busy creating another layout with my July ScrapaGoGo Design Team Kit....I love the page I created, I now just need to find the picture that I wanted to put in it...I know it is somewhere, if only I knew where that was.

I had the best morning with Danny the postman delivering 8 parcels. There contents included makeup, the QVC TSV from last Saturday, DCWV cardstock pads, Herma, Fancy Pants Chipboard, AC Thickers, Autumn Leaves Bag-o-Buttons and my July Go2Pieces mini pizza box.

We have also decided to take a family holiday to Cyprus, hopefully in mid August. We are just waiting for our Passport renewals to arrive before we go ahead and book any tickets. Before I go ahead and book I just need to check with my Auntie Sheena that we are ok to stay.

Tomorrow is a lazy family day. David will cook a fabulous roast lamb dinner, and I will be doing some tidying in my craft room...I really need to move my stash all back up there...I have a largish pile of it downstairs in the lounge....naughty me!

Anyway, that's all for tonight folks!

June ScrapaGoGo...

I can now share the layouts I did with my June ScrapaGoGo Design Team Kit...so here they are. First there is a double page... Here is a layout that I did of David playing in the park...

And finally one that never made it into the PDF classes, or the Design Booklet. But was done using almost all the contents of the Go2Pieces, plus some paint from my stash...

I have have also done one with the ScrapaGoGo Charity Kit. Kits will be leaving GoGo heaquarters tomorrow, so not long for subscribers to wait now... If you haven't bought the Charity Kit yet, get your butt over to http://www.scrapagogo.co.uk/ and see if they are still available, Lorraine and Janice are donating all the profits to the NFA...it is such a good cause..go on check it out. David has a half day off work and is coming home at lunchtime, we have decided to go to PizzaHut together for lunch, something we rarely get to do alone. Georgia is off on a School Trip to Bedford Butterfly Farm. She has been before about 3 years ago, but cannot remember, so I am sure she will have fun, it is such a shame the weather is so bad though. Anyway, I have to get ready and off to work via the school to drop off Georgia...so will be back later.

You never know who might be reading your blog....

I never told any of my family about my Blog. I never thought anyone would be interested, and to save them taking the P*** I kept quiet. So can you imagine my surprise when I get a text from Cyprus and my Auntie knows I have a website, because my cousin Louisa told her...and so did my Sister. It seems it was found on a Google search.....or so I am told. So to all my family now reading...hello, and yes I know I am up late, and I promise to go to bed shortly.

So here is a family picture to share with my family in Cyprus. On Saturday afternoon Georgia decided that after we had washed our hair, she wanted to put it up in a towel like Mummy.

The next couple were taken on Wednesday last week, when Georgia was spending the day with her Grandad while David & I went to Nan's funeral. Dad took Georgia to the school with him to collect Hannah and James and then the three of them played...just look at those cheeky faces, and have you seen the state of Georgia's hair...don't think she let Grandad brush it...do you?

Love to all the family near and far that are reading....feel free to come back and get an update whenever you like.

My Week in Summary...

So it is almost a week since my last update, so here is the short version of events...

Tuesday - No Clients, spent the day scrapping and getting ready to travel to Surrey in the evening. Took Georgia to Gymnastics, had dinner and then drove down to Surrey.

Wednesday - Davids Nan's funeral in the morning, followed by lunch with the family in Runnymede. Spent Pam's (MIL) money on a Quickutz Revolution and some dies. Went to Dinner with my family in Weybridge, then travelled home in the evening.

Thursday - Had to squeeze in visits to two clients, but not much else.

Friday - One client visit, followed by picnic lunch @ Georgia's school. We were taking part in "Read for 15 minutes on the 15th", then back to clients only go back to school for 2.40pm to listen to story time...in a darkened school hall by candlelight, I could easily have fallen asleep.

Saturday - David has to go to work at 12, leaving Georgia and I watching Craft Day on QVC. Without supervision I ordered too much, including the TSV HOTP Card Kit with the Auto Delivery in 90 days, DCWV Mini Self Adhesive Stacks, DCWV Far East Kit, DCWV 110 Cards Kit, and the final item was the K&Co Maison 2 Mini Books Kit. While watching I made up the cards, gift cards and tags from the Lisa Bearnson Kit that was on QVC back in May. So David was supposed to be home at 6.45pm, and we were going to a party at one of my Clients, who are moving to Ireland as soon as the school holidays start. Well David had to stay longer than anticipated and finally rocked home at 11.30pm....just a little late.

Sunday - Woken up this morning at 5.40am by Georgia...and David was missing from the bed. So called downstairs and no answer, checked out of the window and his car was gone. So a quick call to his mobile found him back at work, where he stayed until 11am this morning. Once home we spent the day doing odd jobs around the house and garden.

So as you can see much of the weekend has been just Georgia and I trying to entertain ourselves, with me trying to keep Georgia's grubby little mitts off my lovely stash. Lets hope next week is a little calmer.

New Fancy Pants...

No I am not talking about underwear (although I did get some in Asda this week). I am talking ScrapaGoGo July GoGo Create Kit....which contains the lush Fancy Pants Designs Floral Chic Papers. Now I have to admit to being a Fancy Pants Virgin having never used any of their papers before. Don't get me wrong, I love them, but I am was always afraid to cut them up....Well all I can say is I lost my Fancy Pants Cherry... Last night I completed a small project using them from the kit, and tonight I have done my first LO using them...sadly I cannot share it with you until 20th July...gosh that seems such a long time, but I am sure like the rest of the year so far...it will rush by. I mean we are edging closer to the middle of June already and the School Summer Holidays are looming...but don't get me started on that.

Anyway tomorrow I am home. I didn't book a client as we are going down to Surrey tomorrow evening for the funeral, so I wanted to get all our stuff ready. Hopefully I will be able to have a
little time for some scrapping....you never know!

We had confirmation back from the school today, they have confirmed that Georgia has authorised absence for school on Wednesday. While reading the note, I noticed that Georgia has a 99.4% attendance. If only all the children in the school had such a good record.

Anyway, better get off to bed, or I will end up oversleeping and making Georgia late for school.

It's Here, It's Here...

Finally my parcel from www.amillionlittlethings.com has arrived containing all my "Love Elsie" stash. The lovely Parcelforce man delivered it at approx 8am. Georgia and I had great fun looking through the items and taking a picture of all my lovely goodies...so much so that we were almost late for school...oopps...naughty Mummy.

So after waiting 16 days2 days....here is a picture.

The chipboard album are sooo much bigger than I though. Everything looks so cute, although the products are slightly more muted in colour than the pictures shown on all the websites. That being said they are still lovely. I know many people are disappointed with the thickness of the paper, as it is not as thick as other KI Memories Products, but I always use cardstock as a base so doesn't bother me. In fact the lighter weight makes pages and mini books less bulky. The packets of chipboard buttons are small, but the buttons are a lovely size...not too big. I now cannot wait to get home and have a play...

I HATE waiting...

I really am not patient when it comes to waiting for stash to arrive. I ordered loads, and I really do mean loads, of the new Love Elsie range from the US on 25th May, and it was posted on the 26th via Global Priority....and I am still waiting. It is almost two weeks...how much longer will it be I wonder...I am not sure how long I can hold out...LOL

This week so far is continuing in what is becoming the norm.....chaotic. I am hopeful that the chaos will end soon. Georgia started Gymnastics with MKSpringers on Tuesday and is continuing to enjoy it. She can now do a forward roll, and pull herself up afterwards. She was even doing hand stands wth help from one of the Coaches. She is working on the vault, but needs to remember not so stop when she gets to the springboard. She is trying so hard, that I am sure that it will click very soon...and then there will be no stopping her.

With the flooring almost done in the lounge (just the trim and door strips to be done), I am looking around trying to decide on the next project...which will be the Bathroom. Our bathroom is incredibly small. It is only the length of the bath and the width is the bath, toilet and basin with small gaps between. With this in mind we have decided to ditch the bath and have a shower enclosure instead. Thankfully one of my Clients is a Bathroom Showroom, so I get extra special rates....and they can get one of their best plumbers to do the work. So now I just have to decide and price up what I want/what can fit....ohhhh decisions, decisions.

Well, I am knackered and have already dozed off on the sofa this evening..so bed for me I think.

Phew...What a Day!

Well I know Sunday is traditionally a day of rest....but not in this house on this Sunday. All week I have been talking about getting a wooden floor laid in the lounge, and yesterday David, Georgia and I went shopping. We had intended to buy laminate flooring, but found some real wood flooring on a final clearance in Homebase...so we just had to snap it up. It cost more than we had originally budgeted, but then that was laminate and this is real wood. The room is almost finished, I would say approx 3/4 done, and David is working for a few hours tonight so will be off tomorrow and able to finish it. While laying the new floor we decided to have a move around of furniture... so we will stick with the new layout for a few days and see if we like it.

So while David was busy Georgia and I dropped into the MK Sunday Crop and spent a few pennies in the shop as did Georgia. Then off the Homebase to pick up a tool David needed, and then onto Subway to get some rolls for lunch....mine ended up being my dinner too. Finally arrived home at 1.30, and by 3.30 I was back in the car and off to do some food shopping at Asda....so what with tidying up after David and rushing around all day...I am cream crackered...

Ok, so a couple more piccies. I have to share these couple of Harry & Georgia from Friday...how cute do they look together.

That's all for tonight folks....more work to do before tomorrow morning.

What a Wonderful Day!

We had such a lovely day yesterday. Lorraine and Harry arrived at 11.30am to find me still in my PJ's...I was just getting dressed upstairs I swear. We sat and chatted and Ann, Eloise, Robert and Jamie arrived at 12.15pm. After a quick chat Ann & I set the GoGo June Grab-Its live.....we had the power to make many a GoGo Subscriber happy...and poorer...lol. Then we went off to Pizza Hut for lunch. We had a lovely time eating and chatting. While Lorraine & I were chatting the emergency exit alarm went off....Ann and Robert came back from the toilets and Ann said "Who set off the alam?" to Robert...and he pointed at Ann...lol Obviously we knew that it was Robert, but he blaimed his Mum without hesitation. Once lunch was over we came back here and after a cup of tea/coffee we went for a walk in the park...armed with our cameras... Eloise was busing making daisy chains with the large daisies growing wild in the long grass. She was not keen to pose, but I got this sneaky shot almost as soon as she started.

Harry also had a go at daisy chains...I could see the intense look of concentration on his face. What you cannot see is that he has the most amazing blue eyes and beautiful lashes.

Then there is Robert...the cheeky chappy. Boy was he hard to get a picture of....he was never still long enough...lol

An then there was the super cute Jamie....such a cutie. Ann cannot believe that I got pictures of Jamie looking directly into the lense. I think he could hear the autofocus and see the little light on the front...and so he looked in the direction of the noise.

I have some more cute pictures of Georgia and Harry...he really took a shine to Georgia and told her that he loved her....so cute.

Well today is another lovely day, so as soon as David is home we are off to Asda and also to B&Q where we will get new flooring for the lounge. Tomorrow is the Milton Keynes Crop, and I wasn't able to go as David thought he would have to work....so yesterday he announced that he is not working during the day, but will be working on Sunday night....so I could have gone after all....Arrrrgggg...Men!

Funday Friday...

After all the sad news this week, I am looking forward to a fun day. Not only do the June Grab-Its go live on the ScrapaGoGo website BUT........Lorraine and Ann are coming for the day with the kids....so I will have a house full of fun. After the week we have had, it is a nice end. The sun is shining outside, and the sky is nice and clear blue so looks like we are in for a lovely day...outside. It feels like we have not been able to go outside and play for ages....since it has rained on and off for a week. I will have my camera at the ready.

More on the sad news...there is going to be an autopsy for David's Nan, as she had been released from hospital into the care of a nursing home, and died within a couple of hours of getting there...in my mind it means she was not fit enough to travel...although at 96 she would be anyway. So the funeral has been booked for Wednesday 13th, she told us that she wanted to have her funeral on a Wednesday as all her friends would be meeting in the Church Hall for the weekly club, and that way they would all have transport to get them there....as they are there already. So she actually got one of her final wishes, that and she is finally back with her husband who died over 50 years ago.

I will be back tonight with news and pictures.
